the prophets, saints, and religious scholars, were to sit together from the beginning of this world up to the end and speak about paradise, it would be impossible for them to give a description of it. They could speak about only one drop from an ocean. What would you think if the last person who enters paradise should be given ten-times of this world? In this world, out of four parts, one-fourth is continents and three-fourths is oceans. Of the continents, also, half of them are deserts or forests where no one lives. However, ten-times of this world is filled with every favor of our Lord Almighty. That is just for the last person who is to be given from paradise. Then what about for the others? Yes, this is also our life, counted days or months or years. It is going to finish. Every breath takes us towards the Day of Judgment, toward Eternal Life. Keep your breaths for your Lord, Almighty God, and say, "God! God" (Allah! Allah!). If you do not say it by your will, still your breath each time says, "Huwa. Huwa. Huwa. Huwa. Huwa. Huwa."7 This is going on, "Huwa" with each breath whether you like to say it or not,

Ya Wadud...- The Fountain of Love
All creatures appeared through Allah's Divine Love. He loved them and they appeared; therefore everything in existence carries its share of Divine Love in it. The electrons of atoms turn around the nuclei with the speed of light, because they are alive with the Divine Love Power that their Lord has granted them. It is Allah who, through His Holy Name 'Ya Wadud', the All-Loving, gives His Divine Love to everything in the Universe. Those electrons spin at such high speed around the nuclei because they are drunk with Divine Love. That is how the influence of that Love is manifested by them. Through the Divine Name, 'Al Wadud', real, never-changing, permanent love is granted to us by the Lord. When we say 'Ya Wadud', we are opening ourselves up to that Divine Love, asking our Lord to awaken that unlimited and eternal love. I have been ordered to teach and advise people to call on our Lord, saying: "Ya Wadud", as this will enable the sincere to attain real love of their Lord Allah Almighty and to love everything around themselves for the sake of the Creator who loves all of His creation. This love is the essence of all success in the way of spiritual purification. To realize that love, to come into contact with the Divine Love Oceans, is the challenge and fulfillment of human existence. We seek to awaken permanent love. Practices, prayers and rules are of no use in our time without that love, because the ego easily attaches itself to practices and uses them, so that they serve our vanity. Yesterday just passed away Meded…Audhu bi-llahi mina shaitani rajim, Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, la haula wa la quwatta illa bi-llahi-l ‘Aliyu-l ‘Azim… Yesterday just passed away. This is a new day. Tomorrow this new day is going to be disappeared and tomorrow is going to be a new day. So many days, so many weeks, months, years, centuries, thousands of years passed away. Where they are now? Finished! Through passing time millions or billions of Children of Adam they disappeared also. Once upon a time they were in existence, living, working, fighting, running, asking to reach something that it is not possible to reach that targets. For example, we may say: Everyone that they were passing, (that) they passed away, they are (like) such a person who was asking to reach (to the)moon, and he was giving his whole effort (for that) and making (this) his main target. To reach to (the) moon, main target. And he was trying to build a building that that building only to be steps. Trying to make steps (and) he is thinking that: “With steps it is going to be possible to reach to (the) moon. Very good!” Another one (is) saying: “What are you doing?” “Just I am trying to reach to moon, because I heard that (the) moon (is) full with treasures and I heard that on each diamond (it is) just painted on it miraculously the picture of Archangel Gabriel. On each diamond or jewel it is painted miraculously Archangels Gabriel’s picture and I am trying to reach that.” “Oh, if you are trying, why we are going to sit down? We must try also to reach that treasures…” It is an example; people they are not asking to reach to moon, but they are asking to reach treasures on this world and they are making their main target to reach as much as possible from (the) treasures of this world. it. It was their main target, they were saying: “Our main aim is to reach as much as possible much more treasures from this world.” “Okay, no one (is) saying: don’t do. Do it. You may do.” And they did. And finally, what happened to them? Perhaps they reached (something) from treasures and (the) most (successful) ones who reached to treasures they were Kings, Emperors, beginning from Pharaohs and Nimrods. They were most powerful people to reach (to) golden treasures and jewel treasures. They collected, and what they did finally? They built pyramids and just carried what they collected from treasures of this planet, (of) this world and (they were) putting (these treasures) in it. And they were knowing that one day they must pass away and they were saying: “If we are passing, it is not our last life. Our life is never ending. It is (just) a changing from this life to another life. Therefore we must prepare for ourselves as much as possible treasures. We must carry (them with us).” Therefore they were loading and filling pyramids with treasures and finally they were making their bodies mummy. They passed away, but they never touched these treasures but another (one) after their generation, thousands of years (later). Coming new generations that they were looking, searching a way to reach to that treasure to what is in that pyramids and they reached and they found (the) treasure under pyramids. And (they were also) finding Pharaoh that (was) buried through that pyramid as a mummy; you can’t look at it- so ugly, so dirty shapes! You can’t look it; if you are looking perhaps you may loose your sleep or (that shape is) coming to you through your dreams (and) it is going to be trouble maker for you through your life… They passed away. They are now in passed time. Their existence just became imagination no one (is) saying (anymore) that: “That mummy was Pharaoh, King of Egypt and he did this or that…” Finished! Now- what we are doing today, tomorrow (it is) going to be imagination, no reality. Reality is stable, not changing. Reality never changed; beyond reality everything is imagination. And imagination- if you can keep a sea, (the) surface of (an) ocean on (the) same situation, on (the) same condition even (for) one second, then you can keep passed time (also), or, beyond reality, imagination (is) going to be reality. (But) it is impossible (for) an ocean to be (the) same through even not seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths (of a second), (and further) down you can come- you may use your imagination to make (the) unit of time smaller- (you) can’t find (the) surface of (an) ocean to be same. You can’t keep (it). Therefore imagination is like that, changed, not stable. But reality (is) just stable, never changing.

Therefore everything (is) going to be changed, because (there is) no reality for their existence. Their existence is not a real existence. Real Existence (is only) for Allah Almighty, no changing (for Him). If (he was) changing, finished, (He) comes to the level of creation. He is (the) Creator, never changing, (and) everything that He is creating, (is) changing, Subhanallah! Finished. Yesterday just passed away, becoming an imagination, and we are in an imaginated life. Until we are reaching to Allah Almighty’s Unity Oceans we are in trouble, struggling, and asking to reach an existence through ourselves and it is impossible. When reaching to Unity Oceans- Unity Oceans (are) never changing, never accepting to be more or to be less. Solid, “Allahu Samad”. ‘Subud’(means:) never changing, finished. But people they are thinking to reach something day by day. They are not looking what they are loosing. Every day they are loosing one day and asking from another day and they are saying: “We may reach something tomorrow” and when they are reaching tomorrow they are looking that: “We reached nothing also tomorrow” and: “We are looking if we can find (that) after tomorrow“ or they may say: ”This week we can’t reach anything. We hope to reach (something) next week”, or: “We are thinking to reach (it) next month” or: “We are thinking to reach what we are asking from real existence. Perhaps we may reach to a point that it is going to be (the) past point of our imagening and we may reach to a stable level that we may say: ‘Oh, I reached to my target, now I am in peace’...” “Innaka qadiun ila rabbik”- always people (are) running, running to reach something, personally, commonly, nationally and whole worldly. They are running, asking to reach to something and they can’t reach, because it is in (the) limits of (their) imagination, they are not in reality. And everything that you are asking, it is through the limits of imagination. And you (are) never getting out of that limits for reaching to reality, because you are not preparing yourself to reach a stable ocean that (is) never moving, never changing, but you are running through your imaginations, through your imagening; you are not asking reality. That is (how) Shaitan (is) cheating people and people (are) running after Shaitan and finally they are understanding, when they reach the last point of their lives. (Then) they should understand that: “We ran after our imagination, our imagening, and we were thinking that it was a water there (on that horizon), but (now) we reached (there) and we (are) looking and seeing that it is (not an) oasis, (but a) mirage! Oh, we lost every chance for reaching (the) reality that it was with our Lord’s divinely Presence. We

lost it and we have been cheated that (our) whole life just passed away ‘rah suda’, without any fruits. We lost it, finished!” Therefore we are saying: Oh people, don’t run! Don’t run with your whole capacity or ability or your full effort after Dunya, because it is a mirage. It is an imagening, and one day Allah Almighty is saying for this planet: “How you came, from where you are coming in existence, go back to unexisted world, Unexistence Oceans, disappear!” La haula wa la quwatta illa bi-llahi-l ‘Aliyu-l ‘Azim… That is (the) main problem for mankind that we must understand and we must change our way from mirage to reality. Whole nations (are) running after imagening. Thousands of years Emperors, Kings, Sultans- everyone they gave their whole efforts and finally they were reaching to nothing. Only prophets- peace be upon them- and their followers they were turning their faces from imagination to reality. Reality (means): the Existence of our Lord Almighty Allah. And He is saying: “Fa ayna ma tuwalu fathabba wajhullah (?)…You may find Him, His Reality (everywhere)… Every direction (that) you my turn your face you may find His eternal divinely Face. Everywhere, but you are not looking to Him, you are looking (to) imagening worlds that it is going to be nothing. You and I Are All Servants of Our Lord
O our Lord, we ask that on the Day of Judgment You resurrect us under the flag of Prophet (s). Prevent them from seeing any hardship in dunya and in akhirah. Without being questioned, destine for us to pass over the bridge of Sirat as fast as a bird, and to enter Paradises with dukhooli awwaleen. Increase their noor, lights! Keep them from decaying in graves! Have them answer the questions of Munkar and Nakeer (the angels of the grave) right away, with no difficulty. Render their graves as gardens of Paradise. Grant them good destinies and make Jannat al-Firdaws be their final destination, yaa Rabbee! Fatihah. (Baya`) All shaykhs are lying in maqaams. This is what we will say in the Presence of Allah (swt): all awliya, sultans, holy ones are inside. Their palace is enormous! And as for me, you know, there is this wooden box where they put vegetables in, right? So these holy ones took me and put me in front of that palace with this wooden box, saying, “O Shaykh Nazim, you sit here. You are sufficient here; just amuse those who come and go.” But all the sultans are inside! The time has not come yet; when it comes, then you will see the real Sultan! Huuu! They are like dragons. What do you think? As soon as a dragon sets one glance, it will burn and destroy!

However, those holy ones are there waiting in silence. May Allah sanctify their secrets. Fatihah. Amaan yaa Rabbee! Send many salaams to all our brothers in Germany. Go and take a look at what has become of him now (Mawlana Shaykh laughs.) So yes, Shaykh Mehmet’s wife is from Kayseri. (...) They used to recite Surah al-Fath everyday. You opened up a dargah in Bielefeld? (Yes, Effendim, with your blessings.) Whoever is responsible in that area should recite one Surah al-Fath each day. Surah al-Fath is very important; it is a great, majestic surah. Therefore, keep up with that practice and do not fear. What was your name? (Ibrahim.) Because we are unable to keep things in our memory as was before, so it becomes necessary for us to ask several times. Please excuse me for this. Where are you from? (Frankfurt.) Who is the imaam in Frankfurt? Is there an imam? Even if there isn’t, whoever it may be, let him recite one Surah al- Fath at the masjid everyday, because the world has entered into a very tough and difficult point. The only way to overcome this will be through the power of imaan. Those with no imaan will fall off. We seek refuge in Allah. Safeguard your eyes! Don’t go out on the streets needlessly. Don’t leave your homes. Don’t leave your women alone at home. Don’t let your children go out at night after maghrib prayer. Don’t send your daughters to schools where boys and girls are mixed. You must pay attention to what I’ve said, as these are what it truly means to be a Muslim. (Guest: O my Sultan! Do not severe us from your door; send us your support! These people would like to take baya` from you.)

Let them take. Let them also take from Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. He is a perfect shaykh! Don’t look at how he is showing himself; he is a highly charged person; his himmah (zeal) is very high. All great shaykhs have sent their gaze upon him. We have nothing. What are we? We are like a dry leaf. However, especially now, there are five awliya endowed with full power who will be in service; they are five big saints. Among the awliya, they are known as Rijaal ul-Ishraaqiyoon; in sainthood there is no other rank above theirs. He (Shaykh Mehmet Effendi) is one of them. (Guest: May Allah Almighty give you more power, Effendim. May he keep you with us.) What are we to do with power now? Ride on a horse or a donkey? Haasha! All I want from Allah Almighty is not be imprisoned in bed, and not suffer from mental impairment and lack of imaan. And I am asking Allah to prevent us from falling under an attribute that will cause people to have hatred toward us. Amaan, yaa Rabbee! (Guest: May Allah grant you to see Mahdi (a), Effendim.) Our Prophet, `alayhi ‘s-salaatu wa ‘s-salaam, mentions of “good fate.” May Allah make us to have good fate. Neither should we suffer, nor should we make others suffer. May Allah be pleased with you and grant you long life. (Baya`) A pure life and a pure death. May we enter from a pure house into a pure grave. May we appear in the Presence of Haqq with a face, unblemished and glowing, yaa Rabbee, for the sake of Your Beloved! We have remained as fuqara, poor ones. May Shaytan and its followers be destroyed, be taken away! Send us those who invite us to Your Way, yaa Rabbee! Send us a Sultan who will destroy Shaytan’s kingdom, yaa Rabbee! Fatihah. May Allah bring us together in good days ahead. Take good care of our brothers and sisters! You are responsible in your area, but now there are people spread out everywhere and they are in need of someone to lead them. You are looking after the place where you reside, but who looks after the second dergah? So that is what is needed. Let someone watch over the dergah, to host those who come and go, and to serve them in

zhaahir and in baatin, outwardly and inwardly. (Inshaa-Allah, Effendim.) Of course there is a place, but there is no one in it, and no one who can handle a word from anyone. Everyone who comes should at least say, “Let me hear one word.” And we too have come here to say “Allah!” to be servants to Allah Almighty, not to make a show that we have come. A person who says “I am this” or “I am that” has no value. Our value depends on servanthood to Allah. So many people say, “Shaykh! Shaykh! Shaykh!” but that doesn’t matter. Your name may be “Shaykh,” but what is the status of your servitude in the Presence of Allah? We are in a tough situation. Our duty is to be servants to Allah. Do not forget this, and teach it to others as well. Don’t say, “I am better than you,” but say, “I am your servant.” You and I are all at our Lord’s service, as we are servants. We are at our Prophet’s service, and at the service of saints; this is our honor. If not, whoever is disconnected from an awliya, he is Shaytan’s dog, Shaytan’s slave, and Shaytan’s donkey. May Allah protect us from being one of them. May Shaytan be kept far away from us! A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. Yaa Rabbee! Yaa Allah! But yet they are insisting (and thinking) that: “If we are going to be rich ones, we are not in need any support (from Heavens).” They are thinking or believing that only material aspect may support persons or companies or business or states or governments. No, never, it is so far away (from reality)! Yes. Now there is (a) patron state on earth, US. Americans, they are fighting in Baghdad, in Iraq, but…! They are putting every possibility that they have to be able to control a small area in Iraq, because (it is) their beliefs, they are thinking, that weapons or ultra power weapons, nuclear bombs and so quick planes, fighters, may help them, but (they are) never helping (them), impossible. They are surprising: “How we are not able to control a handful people in Iraq?” Yes- but they are not asking. Ask, come and ask to me, I should say to you: “Because you- Americans, or Russians, or Turks or British or Chinese or Japanese people- their trust (is) on material aspects.“ But never helping that material aspects to them, no! Yet they are surprising, astonishing: “How we can be able to be winners? First we did something and we thought that we winned, we are victorious, but…(then)…” Yet (since) two years or more, they are looking and seeing that they can’t be able, they are not victorious. They (were) so quickly conquering Iraq, but they are not able to put their hegemony on people, to keep them silent, to keep them obedient! They are now thinking on it… And I am sending my message to whole nations and their leaders: “O people, don’t trust your armies, don’t trust your unknown special bombs, don’t trust on material aspects! Ya Wadud...- The Fountain of Love
All creatures appeared through Allah's Divine Love. He loved them and they appeared; therefore everything in existence carries its share of Divine Love in it. The electrons of atoms turn around the nuclei with the speed of light, because they are alive with the Divine Love Power that their Lord has granted them. It is Allah who, through His Holy Name 'Ya Wadud', the All-Loving, gives His Divine Love to everything in the Universe. Those electrons spin at such high speed around the nuclei because they are drunk with Divine Love. That is how the influence of that Love is manifested by them. Through the Divine Name, 'Al Wadud', real, never-changing, permanent love is granted to us by the Lord. When we say 'Ya Wadud', we are opening ourselves up to that Divine Love, asking our Lord to awaken that unlimited and eternal love. I have been ordered to teach and advise people to call on our Lord, saying: "Ya Wadud", as this will enable the sincere to attain real love of their Lord Allah Almighty and to love everything around themselves for the sake of the Creator who loves all of His creation. This love is the essence of all success in the way of spiritual purification. To realize that love, to come into contact with the Divine Love Oceans, is the challenge and fulfillment of human existence. We seek to awaken permanent love. Practices, prayers and rules are of no use in our time without that love, because the ego easily attaches itself to practices and uses them, so that they serve our vanity. Tomorrow this new day is going to be disappeared and tomorrow is going to be a new day. So many days, so many weeks, months, years, centuries, thousands of years passed away. Where they are now? Finished! Through passing time millions or billions of Children of Adam they disappeared also. Once upon a time they were in existence, living, working, fighting, running, asking to reach something that it is not possible to reach that targets. For example, we may say: Everyone that they were passing, (that) they passed away, they are (like) such a person who was asking to reach (to the)moon, and he was giving his whole effort (for that) and making (this) his main target. To reach to (the) moon, main target. And he was trying to build a building that that building only to be steps. Trying to make steps (and) he is thinking that: “With steps it is going to be possible to reach to (the) moon. Very good!” Another one (is) saying: “What are you doing?” “Just I am trying to reach to moon, because I heard that (the) moon (is) full with treasures and I heard that on each diamond (it is) just painted on it miraculously the picture of Archangel Gabriel. On each diamond or jewel it is painted miraculously Archangels Gabriel’s picture and I am trying to reach that.” “Oh, if you are trying, why we are going to sit down? We must try also to reach that treasures…” It is an example; people they are not asking to reach to moon, but they are asking to reach treasures on this world and they are making their main target to reach as much as possible from (the) treasures of this world. it. It was their main target, they were saying: “Our main aim is to reach as much as possible much more treasures from this world.” “Okay, no one (is) saying: don’t do. Do it. You may do.” And they did. And finally, what happened to them? Perhaps they reached (something) from treasures and (the) most (successful) ones who reached to treasures they were Kings, Emperors, beginning from Pharaohs and Nimrods. They were most powerful people to reach (to) golden treasures and jewel treasures. They collected, and what they did finally? They built pyramids and just carried what they collected from treasures of this planet, (of) this world and (they were) putting (these treasures) in it. And they were knowing that one day they must pass away and they were saying: “If we are passing, it is not our last life. Our life is never ending. It is (just) a changing from this life to another life. Therefore we must prepare for ourselves as much as possible treasures. We must carry (them with us).” Therefore they were loading and filling pyramids with treasures and finally they were making their bodies mummy. They passed away, but they never touched these treasures but another (one) after their generation, thousands of years (later). Coming new generations that they were looking, searching a way to reach to that treasure to what is in that pyramids and they reached and they found (the) treasure under pyramids. And (they were also) finding Pharaoh that (was) buried through that pyramid as a mummy; you can’t look at it- so ugly, so dirty shapes! You can’t look it; if you are looking perhaps you may loose your sleep or (that shape is) coming to you through your dreams (and) it is going to be trouble maker for you through your life… They passed away. They are now in passed time. Their existence just became imagination no one (is) saying (anymore) that: “That mummy was Pharaoh, King of Egypt and he did this or that…” Finished! Now- what we are doing today, tomorrow (it is) going to be imagination, no reality. Reality is stable, not changing. Reality never changed; beyond reality everything is imagination. And imagination- if you can keep a sea, (the) surface of (an) ocean on (the) same situation, on (the) same condition even (for) one second, then you can keep passed time (also), or, beyond reality, imagination (is) going to be reality. (But) it is impossible (for) an ocean to be (the) same through even not seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths (of a second), (and further) down you can come- you may use your imagination to make (the) unit of time smaller- (you) can’t find (the) surface of (an) ocean to be same. You can’t keep (it). Therefore imagination is like that, changed, not stable. But reality (is) just stable, never changing.

Therefore everything (is) going to be changed, because (there is) no reality for their existence. Their existence is not a real existence. Real Existence (is only) for Allah Almighty, no changing (for Him). If (he was) changing, finished, (He) comes to the level of creation. He is (the) Creator, never changing, (and) everything that He is creating, (is) changing, Subhanallah! Finished. Yesterday just passed away, becoming an imagination, and we are in an imaginated life. Until we are reaching to Allah Almighty’s Unity Oceans we are in trouble, struggling, and asking to reach an existence through ourselves and it is impossible. When reaching to Unity Oceans- Unity Oceans (are) never changing, never accepting to be more or to be less. Solid, “Allahu Samad”. ‘Subud’(means:) never changing, finished. But people they are thinking to reach something day by day. They are not looking what they are loosing. Every day they are loosing one day and asking from another day and they are saying: “We may reach something tomorrow” and when they are reaching tomorrow they are looking that: “We reached nothing also tomorrow” and: “We are looking if we can find (that) after tomorrow“ or they may say: ”This week we can’t reach anything. We hope to reach (something) next week”, or: “We are thinking to reach (it) next month” or: “We are thinking to reach what we are asking from real existence. Perhaps we may reach to a point that it is going to be (the) past point of our imagening and we may reach to a stable level that we may say: ‘Oh, I reached to my target, now I am in peace’...” “Innaka qadiun ila rabbik”- always people (are) running, running to reach something, personally, commonly, nationally and whole worldly. They are running, asking to reach to something and they can’t reach, because it is in (the) limits of (their) imagination, they are not in reality. And everything that you are asking, it is through the limits of imagination. And you (are) never getting out of that limits for reaching to reality, because you are not preparing yourself to reach a stable ocean that (is) never moving, never changing, but you are running through your imaginations, through your imagening; you are not asking reality. That is (how) Shaitan (is) cheating people and people (are) running after Shaitan and finally they are understanding, when they reach the last point of their lives. (Then) they should understand that: “We ran after our imagination, our imagening, and we were thinking that it was a water there (on that horizon), but (now) we reached (there) and we (are) looking and seeing that it is (not an) oasis, (but a) mirage! Oh, we lost every chance for reaching (the) reality that it was with our Lord’s divinely Presence. We

Don’t run with your whole capacity or ability or your full effort after Dunya, because it is a mirage. It is an imagening, and one day Allah Almighty is saying for this planet: “How you came, from where you are coming in existence, go back to unexisted world, Unexistence Oceans, disappear!” La haula wa la quwatta illa bi-llahi-l ‘Aliyu-l ‘Azim… That is (the) main problem for mankind that we must understand and we must change our way from mirage to reality. Whole nations (are) running after imagening. Thousands of years Emperors, Kings, Sultans- everyone they gave their whole efforts and finally they were reaching to nothing. Only prophets- peace be upon them- and their followers they were turning their faces from imagination to reality. Reality (means): the Existence of our Lord Almighty Allah. And He is saying: “Fa ayna ma tuwalu fathabba wajhullah (?)…You may find Him, His Reality (everywhere)… Every direction (that) you my turn your face you may find His eternal divinely Face. Everywhere, but you are not looking to Him, you are looking (to) imagening worlds that it is going to be nothing. You and I Are All Servants of Our Lord
O our Lord, we ask that on the Day of Judgment You resurrect us under the flag of Prophet (s). Prevent them from seeing any hardship in dunya and in akhirah. Without being questioned, destine for us to pass over the bridge of Sirat as fast as a bird, and to enter Paradises with dukhooli awwaleen. Increase their noor, lights! Keep them from decaying in graves! Have them answer the questions of Munkar and Nakeer (the angels of the grave) right away, with no difficulty. Render their graves as gardens of Paradise. Grant them good destinies and make Jannat al-Firdaws be their final destination, yaa Rabbee! Fatihah. (Baya`) All shaykhs are lying in maqaams. This is what we will say in the Presence of Allah (swt): all awliya, sultans, holy ones are inside. Their palace is enormous! And as for me, you know, there is this wooden box where they put vegetables in, right? So these holy ones took me and put me in front of that palace with this wooden box, saying, “O Shaykh Nazim, you sit here. You are sufficient here; just amuse those who come and go.” But all the sultans are inside! The time has not come yet; when it comes, then you will see the real Sultan! Huuu! They are like dragons. What do you think? As soon as a dragon sets one glance, it will burn and destroy!

Even if there isn’t, whoever it may be, let him recite one Surah al- Fath at the masjid everyday, because the world has entered into a very tough and difficult point. The only way to overcome this will be through the power of imaan. Those with no imaan will fall off. We seek refuge in Allah. Safeguard your eyes! Don’t go out on the streets needlessly. Don’t leave your homes. Don’t leave your women alone at home. Don’t let your children go out at night after maghrib prayer. Don’t send your daughters to schools where boys and girls are mixed. You must pay attention to what I’ve said, as these are what it truly means to be a Muslim. (Guest: O my Sultan! Do not severe us from your door; send us your support! These people would like to take baya` from you.)

Let them take. Let them also take from Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. He is a perfect shaykh! Don’t look at how he is showing himself; he is a highly charged person; his himmah (zeal) is very high. All great shaykhs have sent their gaze upon him. We have nothing. What are we? We are like a dry leaf. However, especially now, there are five awliya endowed with full power who will be in service; they are five big saints. Among the awliya, they are known as Rijaal ul-Ishraaqiyoon; in sainthood there is no other rank above theirs. He (Shaykh Mehmet Effendi) is one of them. (Guest: May Allah Almighty give you more power, Effendim. May he keep you with us.) What are we to do with power now? Ride on a horse or a donkey? Haasha! All I want from Allah Almighty is not be imprisoned in bed, and not suffer from mental impairment and lack of imaan. And I am asking Allah to prevent us from falling under an attribute that will cause people to have hatred toward us. Amaan, yaa Rabbee! (Guest: May Allah grant you to see Mahdi (a), Effendim.) Our Prophet, `alayhi ‘s-salaatu wa ‘s-salaam, mentions of “good fate.” May Allah make us to have good fate. Neither should we suffer, nor should we make others suffer. May Allah be pleased with you and grant you long life. (Baya`) A pure life and a pure death. May we enter from a pure house into a pure grave. May we appear in the Presence of Haqq with a face, unblemished and glowing, yaa Rabbee, for the sake of Your Beloved! We have remained as fuqara, poor ones. May Shaytan and its followers be destroyed, be taken away! Send us those who invite us to Your Way, yaa Rabbee! Send us a Sultan who will destroy Shaytan’s kingdom, yaa Rabbee! Fatihah. May Allah bring us together in good days ahead. Take good care of our brothers and sisters! You are responsible in your area, but now there are people spread out everywhere and they are in need of someone to lead them. You are looking after the place where you reside, but who looks after the second dergah? So that is what is needed. Let someone watch over the dergah, to host those who come and go, and to serve them in

zhaahir and in baatin, outwardly and inwardly. (Inshaa-Allah, Effendim.) Of course there is a place, but there is no one in it, and no one who can handle a word from anyone. Everyone who comes should at least say, “Let me hear one word.” And we too have come here to say “Allah!” to be servants to Allah Almighty, not to make a show that we have come. A person who says “I am this” or “I am that” has no value. Our value depends on servanthood to Allah. So many people say, “Shaykh! Shaykh! Shaykh!” but that doesn’t matter. Your name may be “Shaykh,” but what is the status of your servitude in the Presence of Allah? We are in a tough situation. Our duty is to be servants to Allah. Do not forget this, and teach it to others as well. Don’t say, “I am better than you,” but say, “I am your servant.” You and I are all at our Lord’s service, as we are servants. We are at our Prophet’s service, and at the service of saints; this is our honor. If not, whoever is disconnected from an awliya, he is Shaytan’s dog, Shaytan’s slave, and Shaytan’s donkey. May Allah protect us from being one of them. May Shaytan be kept far away from us! A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. Yaa Rabbee! Yaa Allah! They are surprising: “How we are not able to control a handful people in Iraq?” Yes- but they are not asking. They (were) so quickly conquering Iraq, but they are not able to put their hegemony on people, to keep them silent, to keep them obedient! They are now thinking on it… And I am sending my message to whole nations and their leaders: “O people, don’t trust your armies, don’t trust your unknown special bombs, don’t trust on material aspects!
