any times, we weren’t happy with some people doing some wrong thing. And when we tell him, he every time gives an excuse for them. Once Nabil rahmatu Llahi ‘alayh was saying about a man, “He is like this (bad characters).” Mawlana said: “هُوَ يَسْتَحِي”, “He’s a shy person.” And this man doesn’t know the meaning of shyness (Mawlana laughs). This was very funny. When Mawlana said this, everyone there was laughing. This man was making not good things to people, so Mawlana made an excuse for him and said, “He’s shy” while this man doesn’t know the meaning of shyness. Mawlana was like this. He likes to give an excuse for people, even with a joke. He doesn’t like to show the bad things of people for other people not to say, “This man is doing this, and we can do it.” For this, Mawlana covers it. May Allah جل جلاله raise his Maqam. Insha’Allah his support is with us AlhamduliLlah. We are feeling him here, insha’Allah his spirituality is here.
May Allah جل جلاله accept your Ziyarah / visit. All of you came for the love of Allah جل جلاله, for the love the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, for the love of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim al- Haqqani. May Allah جل جلاله keep all of you and all of your families and Muslims safe from these Fitan of the end of times insha’Allah.

DUTIES OF DHU L-HIJJAH

The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says to say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّه، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّه، وَلَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّه”,
“SubhanaLlah, wa l-HamduliLlah, wa la Ilaha illa Llah”.
It has is a big value insha’Allah in these days.
There are many (Tasbih) that we wrote in our Awrad/ Duties of Dhu l-Hijjah until the end of Dhu l-Hijjah. Especially on the Day of Arafah: 1,000 times Surat al-Ikhlas insha’Allah. Those who can, fast the 8th and 9th of Dhu l-Hijjah. Who cannot fast two days, he can fast Yawmu Arafah, the 9th of Dhu l-Hijjah. This is a very blessed day.
Insha’Allah we shouldn’t miss this. Because when you miss something like this, it is difficult to find. You don’t know what you miss because you don’t see it, but it is a big gift from Allah جل جلاله. Even in Dunya, you feel it and get benefit from it; in Dunya and for Akhirah also. Taqabbala Llah.

INTENTION IS BETTER THAN DEEDS

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Insha’Allah our Naqshbandi Tariqah is the Most Distinguished Tariqah going to the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And Sohbah is important; Mawlana Sheikh orders this. Even if a small (Sohbah) we can take the Barakah of the order of Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam to give advice to people insha’Allah.
Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah ad-Daghestani says that there are 800 things that you mustn’t do, and 700 things that you must do. These are orders from Allah جل جلاله to people. One of our brothers was asking if the orders of Allah جل جلاله are obligatory, Fard. From the orders, there is Fard, Wajib, Sunnah. There are many types of orders.
For Awamu n-Nas, normal people, the Fard is only five. But for the Khawas who want to be more close to Allah جل جلاله, they try to do all the orders. Of course, we cannot do all of them. But as much as we can do, we make intention: we are obeying Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla and doing these. Of course, intention is important. The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and the Sahabah used to do them all. But for us, intention is better than deeds.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says: “نِيَّةُ المَرْءِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ”
“The intention of a person is better than his deeds.”
Of course, we also do what’s not allowed for us to do. And for this, we must repent and ask for forgiveness insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله accept what we do and our intention, and forgive us for what we are doing from sin and wrong things.

We make this every Friday insha’Allah. From everywhere in the world, they read Khatm of Qur’an, Salawat, Suwar and Ayat, and ask for Ihda’/ dedication to the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. For all of what our brothers and sisters read from the whole world, may Allah جل جلاله accept their Qira’a/ reading insha’Allah.

(Translation ) Insha’Allah we gift the Thawab/ reward of what they’ve read from Khatms of Qur’an, Surat Yasin, Ayat Jalilat, Salawat, Tasbihat, Tahlilat, as a gift delivered to the soul of our Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be upon Him), and his family, and his companions, and the souls of all the prophets as well as of His messengers and of those who served their Sharia, and to the souls of the four Imams.
And to the souls of our Mashayikh of the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqa, in particular to the soul of the Imam of the Tariqa Ghawth al-Khaliqa (the Help of Creation), Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Sheikh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, and the rest of our masters and Siddiqiyun.
And to the souls of our Fathers and Mothers, and our passed ones and the passed ones of all the Muslims, and Siddiqiyun, and to the people of Al Khwajagan.

A CHANCE IN THESE TEN DAYS

وَٱلْفَجْرِ
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
(Qur’ān 89:01-02).
‘‘Wa l-Fajr (01)Wa Layālin ‘Ashr’’,
‘‘By the dawn (01)And (by)ten nights.’’
We are in these days, the ten days of the beginning of Dhu l- Hijjah. These are the most blessed days in the year.
Allah جل جلاله rewards you for what you do with His جل جلاله Generosity without counting. We make charity, Tasbih, read Qur’an and Surahs, make prayers. Allah جل جلاله ,gives not double but maybe a hundred times or a thousand times for all of this. He جل جلاله knows insha’Allah. As much as we can do, we get blessings and benefit. For spiritual and physical also. Because it’s important for your soul. And if you do something good for your soul, it becomes good for your body also.
We can do this and on the other hand, for these blessed days, for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and for respecting these days, you must control yourself to not do a bad thing, a Haram thing. Maybe this is more important than worship. You do worship every time without looking what’s right or not, but to leave a bad thing you do, a bad habit, anything against the order of Allah جل جلاله is also more important than that.
All the time when the three months: Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan began, people were leaving every bad thing they were doing as drinking, gambling or any bad thing. They were respecting and were not doing that in these three months. Many of them, because of this good intention, were not going back to this bad thing after the three months.
And we are now in these ten days only, you must try to leave this bad thing and remember these blessed days, Allah جل جلاله will reward you for this. If you leave it ten days for Allah جل جلاله, insha’Allah , Allah جل جلاله helps you to leave this bad thing that you do forever. May Allah جل جلاله help us because it is difficult to leave a bad habit, to leave a bad thing. Because it looks like you’re controlling yourself strongly. But to free yourself from this, you must look for a chance like these days.
Maybe insha’Allah after we finish these days, you’ll get used to leaving this bad thing and you’ll be free from it insha’Allah. Allah جل جلاله will be happy with you, the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be happy with you and you will be happy insha’Allah with this.

ACCEPT AND SAVE YOURSELF

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
We are thanking Allah جل جلاله, we meet again after many years. In these three years, some beloved ones for us left for Akhirah. This is not abnormal, it is normal for human beings, for everybody: Muslims and non-Muslims. We will taste death, ‘Ajal. Of course we miss them but everyone’s turn is coming and they will pass through this door. This door of Akhirah, everybody will go through it. But for the Mu’min, it will be as an open door like here, going to the other side, next door. It will be like this for the Mu’min. But for others, it will of course be different.
Nobody can run away from his turn. The most important thing is to pass through this door with easiness and happiness. Because when they pass through this door, people will be waiting for them on the other side. “Welcome! Welcome our beloved ones!” Like Jalaluddin. AlhamduliLlah you pass with goodness and easiness, and we come together. Because this is difficult; maybe many people don’t live a long life. Sometimes they leave early, going to the other side. So when these people see their friend coming to paradise they’re happy for them and happy to meet them again.
Because when the soul goes out, when Allah جل جلاله orders ‘Izrail, the soul of the Mu’min goes to paradise. But others who say, “We are not interested in this. We don’t want this. We can do what we like to do.” These go to another place; they cannot be together.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Your grave is either paradise or hell.” Many people think that if they make their body dust [burn it], it won’t be anything, it will be finished and they will save themselves. But this cannot save them. From the beginning, they burn themselves, and they put themselves in hell.
From the wisdom of Allah جل جلاله, He جل جلاله gave every one of the human beings a soul. And this soul cannot be destroyed by burning or by making anything. A fish or anything eats the body but they cannot reach the soul. What’s important here is the soul. You cannot run away from Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. For this, who’s clever must not make gambling in this thing. Maybe in Dunya, you can make an adventure or gambling for yourself; by throwing yourself from place to place, or running, or going fast with a car or a plane or anything. If you die, you will be finished only for this life, but the other will still be there. Here is not forever.
If you are a believer, again, you will save yourself. If you’re not a believer, you will finish yourself forever. And for what we said about the adventure and gambling, they say, “Okay I don’t believe, I don’t accept.” When you see the next life you’ll be surprised [thinking], “What have I done!” And there is no return from this.
For this, you must think about your life and think about what they say. Many people listen to philosophers, writers or anyone, and do not think by themselves if it’s true or not true. For this, the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says:
, “إِنَّ تَفَكُّرَ سَاعَةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عِبَادَةِ سَبْعِينَ سَنَةٍ أَو مِئَةَ سَنَةٍ
To sit and think about yourself about the purpose of this life for one hour is better than 70 years. 70 years is as one lifetime of a human being. If you, in this one hour, think, find the truth, accept the reality and accept the way to save yourself, this is better than 70 years of life without any meaning and without any purpose.
Nowadays people - I don’t know if they use this [term] here. In Turkey they think themselves that they are modern, so they changed this term. They don’t say “This man passed away” or “He died”. They say, “Hayatını kaybetti”, “He lost his life.” Do they use it here or in English? [Hosts: Yes] They say it in Turkish. It’s a new term I think. I don’t know if they use it in English or German. Who doesn’t accept and doesn’t make a good thing in his life, he really lost his life. All these years: 70 years, 90 years, 20 years – if they didn’t accept and obey Allah جل جلاله and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, they lost their lives.
He جل جلاله said:
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ
“Fa’ūlā’ika Humu l-Fā’izūn”,
“It is those who are the victorious”. (Qur’ān 24:52).
The one who’s a believer who obeys Allah accepts Him جل جلاله and does as much as he can do, he will be a winner. He did not lose his life, he won his life. For the believers, when somebody passes away they must say, “He won his life.” Of course people will be sad. But don’t be sad. If he’s a beloved one and a good one, and obeys Allah جل جلاله and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, don’t be sad, he is a winner.
We are living in a difficult time, a very difficult time for all human beings. There’s not only stress and economic problems. But because we are living in the end of times, everything is coming heavy on people. Who has a strong Iman and a strong belief, nothing affects him. He knows that this is from Allah جل جلاله, and he accepts. This is the best thing for people in our time: to not listen to people or what they say in the news. Now not only in the news but everywhere they’re saying bad things, telling people only disasters and bad news. No need to listen to that. If you listen, don’t worry; if Allah جل جلاله wants to save you, you’ll be saved even if you’re in fire.
For believers, this is a big favor because they have hope, a big hope. Non- believers don’t have any hope. You must teach this to your family and children. You must tell them “Don’t worry, Allah جل جلاله created us and He جل جلاله is looking. Without His جل جلاله order, nothing can happen.” Because many people were very affected in these years and they became mentally and physically ill. For the believer, this is good tidings. This was known very well; who says every day
“اللَّه خَالِقِي، اللَّه رَازِقِي”
“Allah جل جلاله Khaliqi, Allah جل جلاله Raziqi”, “Allah جل جلاله created me, Allah جل جلاله gives me my provision” he will have a stronger Iman and he will be happier insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله help us.
Before, we used to say that in Europe it is difficult for people. Now it’s difficult everywhere. They are only looking for Dunya and they think that they can survive by themselves. But without Allah جل جلاله giving you your provision, you cannot do anything. All comes by His جل جلاله order.
Of course this Dunya is not forever. The end is coming and there will be a new life after this difficulty. It will be the time of happiness. This is what the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam told us and insha’Allah it is near.
May Allah جل جلاله make us reach these good and happy days, full of Iman and full of happiness insha’Allah.

THE TEN NIGHTS

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
وَٱلْفَجْرِ
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
( Qur’ān 89:01-02)‘‘Wa l-Fajr (01)Wa Layālin ‘Ashr’,’
‘‘By the dawn (01)And (by) ten nights.’’
Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla makes an oath in this Surah, special for these ten nights. From the 1st of Dhu l-Hijjah until 10th of Dhu l-Hijjah. He جل جلاله is praising these days and saying an oath for these very holy ten nights. They begin tonight until the first day of Eid ul Adha.
AlhamduliLlah Allah جل جلاله made every time as a reason to give us more from His جل جلاله favors; to get more rewards and to get more blessings. Some ‘Ulama/ scholars say that these are better than Ramadan because in Ramadan we don’t know which (night)is Laylatu l-Qadr, but this is clearly known. And Allah جل جلاله said it to people in order for them to get rewards and blessings from these days.
Everything related to Hajj is very holy and special. It is once a year and there are many things to do in these days for Hajjis and for non-Hajjis. For this, we should do as much as we can from charity, Sadaqah, praying and Salawat. From what we can do, we should make it more than other days insha’Allah.
There are too many things that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was doing. We see here and there that they are saying to do these things. Maybe you cannot do all of them; but as much as we can do, we should at least make it more than normal days.
Insha’Allah may Allah جل جلاله make it Mubarak, blessed for the Ummah and for all human beings also; for them to get rewards from Allah جل جلاله, and to be safe from bad intentions and from shaytan and his followers insha’Allah. Insha’Allah Mubarak.

THE REAL SUFIS

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi is from the biggest Awliya who gave knowledge from maybe 800 years now. His knowledge is giving benefit for human beings until Qiyamah. From where did he get this knowledge? From the Prophet salla Llāhu alayhi wa-sallam. He said “I am a servant for the most beloved one for Allah جل جلاله. And with this even, the whole world loves him and accepts him. In this world are those who are not Muslim and not believers, most of them are interested in him and their bestselling book is his book. He took from the heavenly knowledge of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and support from the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Who takes this support and love from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, people love them. Many of the old and new, like Sayyidina Ibn ul-Arabi, like Shirazi, and many of the Awliya of Islam, the western people or Non-Muslim people respect them and even love them. Especially Mawlana Sheikh Nazim alhamduliLlah; the latest one. Why is this? It is because their intention is to spread this love and to help human beings. This is what makes people love them.
All of these people, as we said about them, do this for the sake of Allah they don’t ask anything from people. Their main aim is to help people, to save people. Exactly like the prophets before. Now there are no prophets anymore. But before the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allah جل جلاله sent prophets all the time and they had said, “We don’t ask for any wages from you, we don’t ask for any money. We just want you to save yourselves from this bad situation.” People don’t like somebody to ask something from them. And Awliyau’Llah and scholars don’t give any value for Dunya, for money or for other things; they never ask for that.
This is what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says :
“ اِزْهَدْ فِي اَلدُّنْيَا يُحِبُّكَ اَللَّهُ، وَازْهَدْ فِيمَا عِنْدَ اَلنَّاسِ يُحِبُّكَ اَلنَّاسُ”,
“Have no desire for this world, Allah will love you; and have no“ desire for what people possess, and the people will love you.” Make “Zuhd” which means leave/ renounce what people have and don’t ask (for it) , they will love you; and leave what people ask for (Dunya), Allah جل جلاله will give you. This is what makes people love them and respect them. This and especially the support of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam makes people’s hearts love them.
Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi is the master of Sufis and also from Awliyau’Llah. Sometimes some people say that they are Sufi but they’re only Sufi in shape and not real ones. He (Rumi) has many criticisms in the Mathnawi about those who are calling themselves Sufi. He says many funny stories and many things about them. One of his sayings, “From a thousand Sufis, you’ll only find one Sufi.”
To be a Sufi - maybe we can imitate; to imitate is also good, but some of them are really fake ones, cheating people. This was in that time and in this time also. What Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi says is for every time. This Mathnawi is an amazing book. They say “Freud”. Freud is very small compared to Mawlana, what he described about human beings, everything, every detail. Masha’Allah it applies to that time and this time; it’s the same.
The Sufi must be very merciful to people and not merciful to himself. For everything that happens, he must say, “This is good for me, it is from Allah جل جلاله.” He mustn’t even say, “I am patient.” No, he must say, “This is normal.”
One of these Sufi people who was a very good and precious one, was going around in the streets. One bad person who’s not happy with him swore at him, said bad things about him and shouted at him. He was just passing from there. It was a really bad thing done by that bad one; he was shouting and swearing at him. This Sufi who was an ‘Alim, caught his beard and said [to his ego], “Look, eve

any times, we weren’t happy with some people doing some wrong thing. And when we tell him, he every time gives an excuse for them. Once Nabil rahmatu Llahi ‘alayh was saying about a man, “He is like this (bad characters).” Mawlana said: “هُوَ يَسْتَحِي”, “He’s a shy person.” And this man doesn’t know the meaning of shyness (Mawlana laughs). This was very funny. When Mawlana said this, everyone there was laughing. This man was making not good things to people, so Mawlana made an excuse for him and said, “He’s shy” while this man doesn’t know the meaning of shyness. Mawlana was like this. He likes to give an excuse for people, even with a joke. He doesn’t like to show the bad things of people for other people not to say, “This man is doing this, and we can do it.” For this, Mawlana covers it. May Allah جل جلاله raise his Maqam. Insha’Allah his support is with us AlhamduliLlah. We are feeling him here, insha’Allah his spirituality is here.
May Allah جل جلاله accept your Ziyarah / visit. All of you came for the love of Allah جل جلاله, for the love the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, for the love of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim al- Haqqani. May Allah جل جلاله keep all of you and all of your families and Muslims safe from these Fitan of the end of times insha’Allah.

The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says to say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّه، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّه، وَلَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّه”,
“SubhanaLlah, wa l-HamduliLlah, wa la Ilaha illa Llah”.
It has is a big value insha’Allah in these days.
There are many (Tasbih) that we wrote in our Awrad/ Duties of Dhu l-Hijjah until the end of Dhu l-Hijjah. Especially on the Day of Arafah: 1,000 times Surat al-Ikhlas insha’Allah. Those who can, fast the 8th and 9th of Dhu l-Hijjah. Who cannot fast two days, he can fast Yawmu Arafah, the 9th of Dhu l-Hijjah. This is a very blessed day.
Insha’Allah we shouldn’t miss this. Because when you miss something like this, it is difficult to find. You don’t know what you miss because you don’t see it, but it is a big gift from Allah جل جلاله. Even in Dunya, you feel it and get benefit from it; in Dunya and for Akhirah also. Taqabbala Llah.

Insha’Allah our Naqshbandi Tariqah is the Most Distinguished Tariqah going to the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And Sohbah is important; Mawlana Sheikh orders this. Even if a small (Sohbah) we can take the Barakah of the order of Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam to give advice to people insha’Allah.
Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah ad-Daghestani says that there are 800 things that you mustn’t do, and 700 things that you must do. These are orders from Allah جل جلاله to people. One of our brothers was asking if the orders of Allah جل جلاله are obligatory, Fard. From the orders, there is Fard, Wajib, Sunnah. There are many types of orders.
For Awamu n-Nas, normal people, the Fard is only five. But for the Khawas who want to be more close to Allah جل جلاله, they try to do all the orders. Of course, we cannot do all of them. But as much as we can do, we make intention: we are obeying Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla and doing these. Of course, intention is important. The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and the Sahabah used to do them all. But for us, intention is better than deeds.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says: “نِيَّةُ المَرْءِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ”
“The intention of a person is better than his deeds.”
Of course, we also do what’s not allowed for us to do. And for this, we must repent and ask for forgiveness insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله accept what we do and our intention, and forgive us for what we are doing from sin and wrong things.

(Translation ) Insha’Allah we gift the Thawab/ reward of what they’ve read from Khatms of Qur’an, Surat Yasin, Ayat Jalilat, Salawat, Tasbihat, Tahlilat, as a gift delivered to the soul of our Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be upon Him), and his family, and his companions, and the souls of all the prophets as well as of His messengers and of those who served their Sharia, and to the souls of the four Imams.
And to the souls of our Mashayikh of the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqa, in particular to the soul of the Imam of the Tariqa Ghawth al-Khaliqa (the Help of Creation), Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Sheikh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, and the rest of our masters and Siddiqiyun.

A CHANCE IN THESE TEN DAYS

‘‘Wa l-Fajr (01)Wa Layālin ‘Ashr’’,
‘‘By the dawn (01)And (by)ten nights.’’
We are in these days, the ten days of the beginning of Dhu l- Hijjah. These are the most blessed days in the year.
Allah جل جلاله rewards you for what you do with His جل جلاله Generosity without counting. We make charity, Tasbih, read Qur’an and Surahs, make prayers. Allah جل جلاله ,gives not double but maybe a hundred times or a thousand times for all of this. He جل جلاله knows insha’Allah. As much as we can do, we get blessings and benefit. For spiritual and physical also. Because it’s important for your soul. And if you do something good for your soul, it becomes good for your body also.
We can do this and on the other hand, for these blessed days, for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and for respecting these days, you must control yourself to not do a bad thing, a Haram thing. Maybe this is more important than worship. You do worship every time without looking what’s right or not, but to leave a bad thing you do, a bad habit, anything against the order of Allah جل جلاله is also more important than that.
All the time when the three months: Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan began, people were leaving every bad thing they were doing as drinking, gambling or any bad thing. They were respecting and were not doing that in these three months. Many of them, because of this good intention, were not going back to this bad thing after the three months.
And we are now in these ten days only, you must try to leave this bad thing and remember these blessed days, Allah جل جلاله will reward you for this. If you leave it ten days for Allah جل جلاله, insha’Allah , Allah جل جلاله helps you to leave this bad thing that you do forever. May Allah جل جلاله help us because it is difficult to leave a bad habit, to leave a bad thing. Because it looks like you’re controlling yourself strongly. But to free yourself from this, you must look for a chance like these days.
Maybe insha’Allah after we finish these days, you’ll get used to leaving this bad thing and you’ll be free from it insha’Allah. Allah جل جلاله will be happy with you, the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be happy with you and you will be happy insha’Allah with this.

ACCEPT AND SAVE YOURSELF

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
We are thanking Allah جل جلاله, we meet again after many years. In these three years, some beloved ones for us left for Akhirah. This is not abnormal, it is normal for human beings, for everybody: Muslims and non-Muslims. We will taste death, ‘Ajal. Of course we miss them but everyone’s turn is coming and they will pass through this door. This door of Akhirah, everybody will go through it. But for the Mu’min, it will be as an open door like here, going to the other side, next door. It will be like this for the Mu’min. But for others, it will of course be different.
Nobody can run away from his turn. The most important thing is to pass through this door with easiness and happiness. Because when they pass through this door, people will be waiting for them on the other side. “Welcome! Welcome our beloved ones!” Like Jalaluddin. AlhamduliLlah you pass with goodness and easiness, and we come together. Because this is difficult; maybe many people don’t live a long life. Sometimes they leave early, going to the other side. So when these people see their friend coming to paradise they’re happy for them and happy to meet them again.
Because when the soul goes out, when Allah جل جلاله orders ‘Izrail, the soul of the Mu’min goes to paradise. But others who say, “We are not interested in this. We don’t want this. We can do what we like to do.” These go to another place; they cannot be together.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Your grave is either paradise or hell.” Many people think that if they make their body dust [burn it], it won’t be anything, it will be finished and they will save themselves. But this cannot save them. From the beginning, they burn themselves, and they put themselves in hell.
From the wisdom of Allah جل جلاله, He جل جلاله gave every one of the human beings a soul. And this soul cannot be destroyed by burning or by making anything. A fish or anything eats the body but they cannot reach the soul. What’s important here is the soul. You cannot run away from Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. For this, who’s clever must not make gambling in this thing. Maybe in Dunya, you can make an adventure or gambling for yourself; by throwing yourself from place to place, or running, or going fast with a car or a plane or anything. If you die, you will be finished only for this life, but the other will still be there. Here is not forever.
If you are a believer, again, you will save yourself. If you’re not a believer, you will finish yourself forever. And for what we said about the adventure and gambling, they say, “Okay I don’t believe, I don’t accept.” When you see the next life you’ll be surprised [thinking], “What have I done!” And there is no return from this.
For this, you must think about your life and think about what they say. Many people listen to philosophers, writers or anyone, and do not think by themselves if it’s true or not true. For this, the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says:
, “إِنَّ تَفَكُّرَ سَاعَةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عِبَادَةِ سَبْعِينَ سَنَةٍ أَو مِئَةَ سَنَةٍ
To sit and think about yourself about the purpose of this life for one hour is better than 70 years. 70 years is as one lifetime of a human being. If you, in this one hour, think, find the truth, accept the reality and accept the way to save yourself, this is better than 70 years of life without any meaning and without any purpose.
Nowadays people - I don’t know if they use this [term] here. In Turkey they think themselves that they are modern, so they changed this term. They don’t say “This man passed away” or “He died”. They say, “Hayatını kaybetti”, “He lost his life.” Do they use it here or in English? [Hosts: Yes] They say it in Turkish. It’s a new term I think. I don’t know if they use it in English or German. Who doesn’t accept and doesn’t make a good thing in his life, he really lost his life. All these years: 70 years, 90 years, 20 years – if they didn’t accept and obey Allah جل جلاله and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, they lost their lives.
He جل جلاله said:
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ
“Fa’ūlā’ika Humu l-Fā’izūn”,
“It is those who are the victorious”. (Qur’ān 24:52).
The one who’s a believer who obeys Allah accepts Him جل جلاله and does as much as he can do, he will be a winner. He did not lose his life, he won his life. For the believers, when somebody passes away they must say, “He won his life.” Of course people will be sad. But don’t be sad. If he’s a beloved one and a good one, and obeys Allah جل جلاله and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, don’t be sad, he is a winner.
We are living in a difficult time, a very difficult time for all human beings. There’s not only stress and economic problems. But because we are living in the end of times, everything is coming heavy on people. Who has a strong Iman and a strong belief, nothing affects him. He knows that this is from Allah جل جلاله, and he accepts. This is the best thing for people in our time: to not listen to people or what they say in the news. Now not only in the news but everywhere they’re saying bad things, telling people only disasters and bad news. No need to listen to that. If you listen, don’t worry; if Allah جل جلاله wants to save you, you’ll be saved even if you’re in fire.
For believers, this is a big favor because they have hope, a big hope. Non- believers don’t have any hope. You must teach this to your family and children. You must tell them “Don’t worry, Allah جل جلاله created us and He جل جلاله is looking. Without His جل جلاله order, nothing can happen.” Because many people were very affected in these years and they became mentally and physically ill. For the believer, this is good tidings. This was known very well; who says every day
“اللَّه خَالِقِي، اللَّه رَازِقِي”
“Allah جل جلاله Khaliqi, Allah جل جلاله Raziqi”, “Allah جل جلاله created me, Allah جل جلاله gives me my provision” he will have a stronger Iman and he will be happier insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله help us.
Before, we used to say that in Europe it is difficult for people. Now it’s difficult everywhere. They are only looking for Dunya and they think that they can survive by themselves. But without Allah جل جلاله giving you your provision, you cannot do anything. All comes by His جل جلاله order.
Of course this Dunya is not forever. The end is coming and there will be a new life after this difficulty. It will be the time of happiness. This is what the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam told us and insha’Allah it is near.
May Allah جل جلاله make us reach these good and happy days, full of Iman and full of happiness insha’Allah.

THE TEN NIGHTS

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
وَٱلْفَجْرِ
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
( Qur’ān 89:01-02)‘‘Wa l-Fajr (01)Wa Layālin ‘Ashr’,’
‘‘By the dawn (01)And (by) ten nights.’’
Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla makes an oath in this Surah, special for these ten nights. From the 1st of Dhu l-Hijjah until 10th of Dhu l-Hijjah. He جل جلاله is praising these days and saying an oath for these very holy ten nights. They begin tonight until the first day of Eid ul Adha.
AlhamduliLlah Allah جل جلاله made every time as a reason to give us more from His جل جلاله favors; to get more rewards and to get more blessings. Some ‘Ulama/ scholars say that these are better than Ramadan because in Ramadan we don’t know which (night)is Laylatu l-Qadr, but this is clearly known. And Allah جل جلاله said it to people in order for them to get rewards and blessings from these days.
Everything related to Hajj is very holy and special. It is once a year and there are many things to do in these days for Hajjis and for non-Hajjis. For this, we should do as much as we can from charity, Sadaqah, praying and Salawat. From what we can do, we should make it more than other days insha’Allah.
There are too many things that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was doing. We see here and there that they are saying to do these things. Maybe you cannot do all of them; but as much as we can do, we should at least make it more than normal days.
Insha’Allah may Allah جل جلاله make it Mubarak, blessed for the Ummah and for all human beings also; for them to get rewards from Allah جل جلاله, and to be safe from bad intentions and from shaytan and his followers insha’Allah. Insha’Allah Mubarak.

Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi is from the biggest Awliya who gave knowledge from maybe 800 years now. His knowledge is giving benefit for human beings until Qiyamah. From where did he get this knowledge? From the Prophet salla Llāhu alayhi wa-sallam. He said “I am a servant for the most beloved one for Allah جل جلاله. And with this even, the whole world loves him and accepts him. In this world are those who are not Muslim and not believers, most of them are interested in him and their bestselling book is his book. He took from the heavenly knowledge of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and support from the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Who takes this support and love from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, people love them. Many of the old and new, like Sayyidina Ibn ul-Arabi, like Shirazi, and many of the Awliya of Islam, the western people or Non-Muslim people respect them and even love them. Especially Mawlana Sheikh Nazim alhamduliLlah; the latest one. Why is this? It is because their intention is to spread this love and to help human beings. This is what makes people love them.
All of these people, as we said about them, do this for the sake of Allah they don’t ask anything from people. Their main aim is to help people, to save people. Exactly like the prophets before. Now there are no prophets anymore. But before the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allah جل جلاله sent prophets all the time and they had said, “We don’t ask for any wages from you, we don’t ask for any money. We just want you to save yourselves from this bad situation.” People don’t like somebody to ask something from them. And Awliyau’Llah and scholars don’t give any value for Dunya, for money or for other things; they never ask for that.
This is what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says :
“ اِزْهَدْ فِي اَلدُّنْيَا يُحِبُّكَ اَللَّهُ، وَازْهَدْ فِيمَا عِنْدَ اَلنَّاسِ يُحِبُّكَ اَلنَّاسُ”,
“Have no desire for this world, Allah will love you; and have no“ desire for what people possess, and the people will love you.” Make “Zuhd” which means leave/ renounce what people have and don’t ask (for it) , they will love you; and leave what people ask for (Dunya), Allah جل جلاله will give you. This is what makes people love them and respect them. This and especially the support of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam makes people’s hearts love them.
Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi is the master of Sufis and also from Awliyau’Llah. Sometimes some people say that they are Sufi but they’re only Sufi in shape and not real ones. He (Rumi) has many criticisms in the Mathnawi about those who are calling themselves Sufi. He says many funny stories and many things about them. One of his sayings, “From a thousand Sufis, you’ll only find one Sufi.”
To be a Sufi - maybe we can imitate; to imitate is also good, but some of them are really fake ones, cheating people. This was in that time and in this time also. What Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi says is for every time. This Mathnawi is an amazing book. They say “Freud”. Freud is very small compared to Mawlana, what he described about human beings, everything, every detail. Masha’Allah it applies to that time and this time; it’s the same.
The Sufi must be very merciful to people and not merciful to himself. For everything that happens, he must say, “This is good for me, it is from Allah جل جلاله.” He mustn’t even say, “I am patient.” No, he must say, “This is normal.”
One of these Sufi people who was a very good and precious one, was going around in the streets. One bad person who’s not happy with him swore at him, said bad things about him and shouted at him.
