ll not ask you what He جل جلاله must do and what He جل جلاله will do. He جل جلاله is the Creator, He جل جلاله can do everything and we must just accept this without tiring our head and our brain. We must only accept. We must say, “He جل جلاله knows best”; this is Iman.
May Allah جل جلاله give us strong Iman insha’Allah.

EVERYTHING IN DUNYA HAS A LIMIT

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
إِنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ
(Qur’ān 07:128).
‘‘Inna l-‘Arda li-Llāhi Yūrithuhā Man Yashā’u Min ‘Ibādihi’’
‘’Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants.’’
Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla says in the Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan that this earth is for Him جل جلاله. Our planet is for Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, other planets are also for Him جل جلاله. The sun, moon, stars, galaxy, universe; all are for Him جل جلاله. He جل جلاله is the Creator and He جل جلاله creates without an end, endlessly.
Everything has a limit, an age, an ‘Ajal/ appointed term. And when this ‘Ajal comes, it will be finished. They said that butterflies live for one day, and there are the human beings who live for maybe 80, 90, 100 years. Each creature has a [limited] life, which Allah جل جلاله knows how much it is. This is also for planets, for the sun, for the moon, for everything in this universe. They have a limit of life which must end when Allah جل جلاله wants.
What human beings are thinking and saying is that after a billion years our sun will explode, and other things will be like this and like that. What Allah جل جلاله gives from knowledge to people is a little bit. And they think that they know too much and they are telling that to people. They don’t know that the Day of Qiyamah, Resurrection will happen at once. They think that it is in so long. And even if they think that it will happen after one million years or two million years, they are afraid of it.
But our next life will be forever. Everything will be forever. This world, before death and before Qiyamah, is different, and after it is different. Many professors and scholars of knowledge are reaching to some limit. After that, those who have good knowledge say, “We know up to this limit. After this limit there must be many things that must normally be like this according to our calculation and our knowledge for Dunya.” But even in the material world, they said “We don’t know how the system is in the other galaxies.” So they don’t even know the system for this Dunya. And for Akhirah, they will never know.
For this, we are living in this planet which is not valuable for Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. It is the lowest thing, it is not precious. It is the lowest and isn’t worth anything. Our Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says
“الدُّنْيَا جِيفَةٌ وَطُلّابُهَا كِلابٌ”
this Dunya is like a carcass and those who look after the carcass are dogs. People think that it is something that they will have forever. No, it is not forever. Nothing is forever in this material world.
For this, when Allah جل جلاله created us – and we are coming from here, or from this country to another country, and from another country to another; this is what Allah جل جلاله wants for people. If they have Rizq/ provision, they will be there. So it is not important for people to look after it.
The most important thing is to be with Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, this is what gives sense for things. Without this, there is no sense for our life, for traveling, for going here and there to find a better life. You cannot find it without being with Allah جل جلاله
For this, the most important thing is to keep yourself and your family safe; safe from this badness of Kufr/ unbelief. They are trying everything, shaytan is trying everything to finish you, to melt you and to make himself happy. When the Mu’min/ believer forgets Allah جل جلاله and runs after Dunya, he loses everything and the shaytan will be happy.
This is a very important thing: for everyone to look after his family, wife and children. Because all the world has now become bad, but in some places it is more difficult to keep this. They try their best to make people lose their religion. And when people lose their religion, they lose everything. After this, we become just like – we don’t say like animal – but like grass, like anything else that’s not human being when we lose this good manner and good thing.
Also the trees, they’re cutting them and using them for something. And animals also, they’re using them and when they’re finished, their mission will be finished. But our mission is not like them. It must be different, it must be better.
Normally it is not so difficult, but people are looking for the easy way. And the easy way is never good for people. Without studying, you cannot go to the next class, the second class, the third class. If you’re not studying, not tiring yourself and not controlling your ego, you will never go from the first class to the second class. And it is as such for life and also the same for religion. This applies for everything.
If you sleep, you cannot succeed in anything. You must tire yourself, you must look for knowledge, for work, for anything. If you are lazy and you’re not going and looking, nothing will happen. Maybe the government here gives you money, but I don’t think that they will be giving you your whole life. But when you’re working, you can save yourself.
And this also applies for religion, don’t say, “It is difficult.” If you say this you will be a loser and you won’t find anything in the next life.
AlhamduliLlah we saw many of our Murids that have small and big children. So they can slowly slowly teach them about Islam. First teach them to say, “Allah, Allah, Allah” and “Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim” and “La Ilaha illa Llah”. Slowly slowly, no need to make them afraid and to make them run away. Insha’Allah with this, Barakah comes to you and Allah جل جلاله keeps them on the right way insha’Allah.
This is very important because now it is too difficult in Europe to do anything for your own children. They say that they must be free. This is freedom. When you make it with love, they can be happy with that and Allah جل جلاله puts in their heart the love of Allah جل جلاله, the love of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and ‘Awliya insha’Allah.
AlhamduliLlah, insha’Allah our gathering here is for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and alhamduliLlah many people brought their family and their children. Insha’Allah they [came] only for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and are asking for knowledge. May Allah جل جلاله give them for their intention. This is a more precious thing for us. You come not for Dunya but for Allah جل جلاله . You come for the precious thing.
Insha’Allah may Allah .جل جلاله not make you go back empty but full of blessings and safe from every badness. May Allah جل جلاله make you go back with this insha’Allah.

Jum’ah Prayer – Schweibenalp, Switzerland
Host: I want to welcome you in the name of the Center of Schweibenalp. It is our pleasure and our honor that Sheikh Muhammad and the Naqshbandi family is coming to visit. The tradition of the Naqshbandi family in Schweibenalp is very long.
You see this hat on my head, it is GrandSheikh Muhammad Nazim al- Haqqani, the Truthful, al-Qubrusi an-Naqshbandi who gave me this hat. It is one of the many signs that he gave to this young friend and disciple more than 30 years ago. In 1984 he arrived here in a VW van with two Ibrahims from Canada and I don’t know where. He came and when he saw the pictures of our inspirer and founder he said, “Oh! That’s the one who sent me here.” And he actually stood at that corner when I came.
The first thing he always said when he opened a speech, “It is by divine association that we can only be here together.” It is only by divine association that we are now together, and we are sharing this space. And it was so lovely to be many times in the Prayer/ Dua of the Naqshbandi. Thank you for leaving us in the Prayer/ Dua Sheikh Muhammad.
My beloved wife Andrea, it’s her first time with all of you, she said, “So many beautiful souls.” That’s the only thing she said. We are very happy to have you here. Thank you very much for being here. As-Salāmu ‘alaykum.
Mawlana: Wa ʿalaykum s-salam wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuh. Thank you for your hospitality. Our Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that you must thank people. When you thank people, you thank Allah جل جلاله. This is our Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s teaching for good manners and good behaviors. We learn every good behavior from them, and they this is what they teach.
For this, when you have good manners and good behavior, your soul becomes more beautiful, with more light and more goodness. For this, when some people go to some place, everybody will be affected by this good thing. You can’t see this good thing but you can feel it, you get affected by it. And sometimes if a bad one is coming to some place, he makes the whole place miserable and bad. Why? Because he’s not feeling good towards people, and not wanting good for people, he doesn’t have any good intention. For this, he makes people miserable.
But when you are doing this for the sake of Allah جل جلاله , to please Him جل جلاله, He جل جلاله is pleased with people who have mercy for other people, who want good for them. In everything, they want good for them. These people are believers who believe that when they want good for people, it will not be less for them, but it will be more for them also. But in the material world, they don’t know this spiritual thing. And they think that if another one becomes good, they will be less good or it will not be good for them. So they must be good and the others don’t matter. The others are not important for them. This is teaching of the material world.
We are living in this material world. The whole world is like this now, but there are places that teach goodness, teach beauty and mercy for people. Who understands is clever. Who doesn’t understand, even if he’s a professor or a doctor or has any high rank in university or in life, if he doesn’t understand this, he will be all the time envious of other people.
Since a long time in our country, they are leaving the dogs and cats free, not doing anything to them. But here, they said that if you leave one cat, after three years they may become ten thousand cats. You look, they are even thinking about this. In our country, we believe that Allah جل جلاله created them and Allah جل جلاله is responsible for them, for their Rizq/ provision, and for everything’s Rizq. Even these animals understand this more and better than professors in this world, the material world.
We must insha’Allah help people. We like to invite people to this “دَارُ السَّلَامِ “House of Peace”. Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla said to come to peace, and not go to another place. He called them to come but they are running away from this. Why are they doing that? Because they are following the teachings of bad people, the ideas of bad people, and material things. They don’t have enough intelligence to think that there is spiritual and spirituality.
May Allah جل جلاله give us this nice idea, and to live with this and to die with this.

VISIT THE GRAVES ON FRIDAY

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says to visit the graves of the mother and father on Friday for it is blessed for those who do it. He encourages us to do this. Some visit and they are already there [in the same country]. But from away also, sometimes people cannot be there since they are in another place, this also reaches them as if you are there in front of their grave.
This is what they want from you after their passing to Akhirah. They want from you this which is as a big present for them. The people of Akhirah, when their relatives or anyone comes and does this for them, they will be very very happy. And others who are looking for something to come from their relatives, but it doesn’t come, they will be sad and miserable. This is what we can do for them.
Some people who are not Muslim, put food, drinks or fruits in front of the grave of their relatives. They cannot eat now. If you want to do this, give it to poor people and it will be for them as Sadaqah and benefit. But for [putting] other things, they’re finished; they cannot eat, they cannot drink, they cannot smell in that place. People must understand this. Who understands will be happy because he’s giving his relatives or friends what they are in need of. They are in need of this. They are not in need of eating or drinking or anything else.
Today is a blessed day. The Day of Jum’ah is like a feast for them also. In this feast they must have something, and this is what they must have insha’Allah.

Every Friday we make Dua for them. Our people from everywhere, from around the world, from Murids and those who love Allah جل جلاله, they read Khatm of Qur’an and they send to present them for the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and Ahlu l-Bayt.
Ila sharafi n-Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allahumma balligh wa awsil thawab ma qara’nah min Khatamati l-Qur’an wal Suwar wal Ayat wal Kalimat wal Salawat wal Tasbihat wal Tahlilat, Hadiyyatan wasila ila Ruhi Nabiyyina Muhammadin salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, wa ‘Alihi wa ‘As’habihi l-Kiram, wa ila arwahi jamee’i al ‘Anbiya’i wa l-Mursalin wa Khudamai sharai’ihim, wa ila arwahi al ‘A’immati al arba’a, wa ila arwahi Mashayikhina fi t-Tariqati n-Naqshbandiyati l- ‘Aliyah, khasatan Imamu t-Tariqati wa Ghawthu l-khaliqah Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Sheikh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, wa sairi Sadatina wal Siddiqiyun. Wa ila ‘arwahi ‘Aba’ina wa Ummahatina, ‘Ajdadina wa Jaddatina, ‘Akhwalina wa Khalatina, ‘Aa’mamina wa A’mmatina, ‘Abnaina wa Banatina, ‘Ahbabina wa ‘Akribaina wa ‘Asdikaina, wa jamee’i al Muslimin wal Muslimat al ‘ahya’i minhum wal ‘amwat. A’la Niyyati sh-shifa’i wa daf’i l-bala’i wa n-nasri a’la l- ‘aa’da’i wal futuh’i wal faraji a’n l-Muslimin. A’la Niyyati Quwwati l-Iman.
Li-Llahi Ta’ala l-Fatiha.
(Translation) To the honor of our Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be upon Him), O Allah convey and deliver the reward of what we have read from the Khatm of Qur’an and Surahs and Ayat and Letters and Salawat and Tasbihat and Tahlilat, as a gift delivered to the soul of our Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be upon Him), and his family, and his companions, and the souls of all the prophets as well as of His messengers and of those who served their Sharia, and to the souls of the four Imams.
And to the souls of our Mashayikh of the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqa, in particular to the soul of the Imam of the Tariqa Ghawth al-Khaliqa (the Help of Creation), Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Sheikh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, and the rest of our masters and Siddiqiyun.
And to the souls of our Fathers and Mothers, our Grandfathers and Grandmothers, our Uncles and Aunts, our Sons and Daughters, our loved ones and relatives and friends, and all Muslims and Muslimahs the living from them and the dead.
On the intention of Shifa’/ cure, repelling affliction, the victory over enemies, conquest and relief for Muslims. On the intention of strength of faith.]

THE FIRST RULE IN TARIQAH

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
AlhamduliLlah it is a favor from Allah جل جلاله, we are happy insha’Allah. We are pleasing our Lord Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. What’s first for Tariqah people is Adab. There were before some brothers saying that in the Naqshbandi Tariqah there are rules. The first rule in Tariqah is Adab, good behavior. Allah جل جلاله likes the good behavior.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam had the best behavior. So for Tariqah people it is very important to have good behavior, to have Adab.
And in this Adab also, the first and most important is towards Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, our Creator, and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. How to be in Adab with Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla? By thanking Him جل جلاله for everything he gave us and not complaining, because everything for the Mu’min is good.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Everything that Allah جل جلاله gives is good.” Even if it’s maybe not easy, and sometimes bad things are coming, but this Dunya is a place of tests.
So for everything that comes we must say that this is from Allah جل جلاله for us. To make Dua and not complain. Say, “O Lord, give us from your favors. Don’t test us, we cannot carry.”
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam also says, “Don’t ask for Sabr/ patience because Sabr is difficult. Ask for Ihsan/ beneficence, to not give you a test.”
So we are in Tariqah, we must not complain. Everything is from Allah جل جلاله. Ask from Allah جل جلاله to make it easy.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says in one of his Duas, “يَجْعَلُ الصَعْبَ سَهْلًا”
Allah جل جلاله makes the difficult become easy. Allah جل جلاله can do anything, nothing is difficult for Allah جل جلاله. “You can make the difficult easy.” This is a Dua for the Mu’min.
If there’s anything you cannot carry, don’t forget Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, quickly remember Him جل جلاله and say “AstaghfiruLlah”. And not to complain but ask Him جل جلاله to make it easy so that we can carry.
When Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah was making Khatm/ Dhikr, there were five people. And when Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah was making Sohbah, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was writing what he was saying, writing all the Sohbahs. He said, “I wrote 7,000 Sohbah.” The first Sohbah, the first order was about Adab, good behavior.
Masha’Allah with his Adab, Mawlana reached the highest place. And from these Sohbahs that Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah was giving and Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was writing, this whole knowledge spread this Way in the east and west and in the whole world.

SCHOLARS ARE INHERITORS OF PROPHETS

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says:
“الْعُلَمَاءُ وَرَثَةُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ”,
The ‘Ulama, scholars or near scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. And,
عُلَمَاءُ أُمَّتِي كَأَنْبِيَاءِ بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ
“The scholars of my Ummah are like the Prophets of Banī Israīl.”
This is a big value for the scholar who is on the way of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa- sallam. They are very precious and very important people.
I just heard now that Sheikh Mahmud Efendi rahmatu Llahi ‘alayhi passed away today. He was very strong and he has thousands maybe a million of followers. He was near ‘Ulama, and he defends and makes people follow the Sunnah of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, and teaches them knowledge. And he was also Naqshbandi.
What will we do? The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that when some ‘Alim passes away, all what he left will continue until Qiyamah.
May Allah جل جلاله make his rank higher and higher. And insha’Allah we also be in Jannah together. May Allah جل جلاله help us because this is a big loss. And insha’Allah he left after him thousands, five hundred thousand people. Insha’Allah they will continue this good way, and may Allah جل جلاله reward him for what every one of them does.
May Allah جل جلاله help Islam and Muslims.

VALUE IS NOT IN THE MULTITUDE

AlhamduliLlah we meet here again after many years. We meet not for eating or drinking. People come from everywhere just for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. You are here for Allah جل جلاله, and you have this love for Him جل جلاله
Once we were in Jerusalem going around. This driver knows that we are Tariqah, Sufi people. We were visiting some of the Sufi brothers, Tariqah brothers there, and he was driving us. He saw these people and he said, “You are very few people. Why are the other people, these people who are against Tasawwuf, if anything happens thousands of them gather?” We said that this is the will of Allah جل جلاله , because in the end of times there isn’t any value for the multitude. If you are millions and you are not beloved for Allah جل جلاله and beloved for the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, there isn’t any value for you.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said that in the end of times, which we are living in, there will be too many Muslims but they will be worthless.

EVERYTHING IN DUNYA HAS A LIMIT

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
إِنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ
(Qur’ān 07:128).
‘‘Inna l-‘Arda li-Llāhi Yūrithuhā Man Yashā’u Min ‘Ibādihi’’
‘’Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants.’’
Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla says in the Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan that this earth is for Him جل جلاله. Our planet is for Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, other planets are also for Him جل جلاله. The sun, moon, stars, galaxy, universe; all are for Him جل جلاله. He جل جلاله is the Creator and He جل جلاله creates without an end, endlessly.
Everything has a limit, an age, an ‘Ajal/ appointed term. And when this ‘Ajal comes, it will be finished. They said that butterflies live for one day, and there are the human beings who live for maybe 80, 90, 100 years. Each creature has a [limited] life, which Allah جل جلاله knows how much it is. This is also for planets, for the sun, for the moon, for everything in this universe. They have a limit of life which must end when Allah جل جلاله wants.
What human beings are thinking and saying is that after a billion years our sun will explode, and other things will be like this and like that. What Allah جل جلاله gives from knowledge to people is a little bit. And they think that they know too much and they are telling that to people. They don’t know that the Day of Qiyamah, Resurrection will happen at once. They think that it is in so long. And even if they think that it will happen after one million years or two million years, they are afraid of it.
But our next life will be forever. Everything will be forever. This world, before death and before Qiyamah, is different, and after it is different. Many professors and scholars of knowledge are reaching to some limit. After that, those who have good knowledge say, “We know up to this limit. After this limit there must be many things that must normally be like this according to our calculation and our knowledge for Dunya.” But even in the material world, they said “We don’t know how the system is in the other galaxies.” So they don’t even know the system for this Dunya. And for Akhirah, they will never know.
For this, we are living in this planet which is not valuable for Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. It is the lowest thing, it is not precious. It is the lowest and isn’t worth anything. Our Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says
“الدُّنْيَا جِيفَةٌ وَطُلّابُهَا كِلابٌ”
this Dunya is like a carcass and those who look after the carcass are dogs. People think that it is something that they will have forever. No, it is not forever. Nothing is forever in this material world.
For this, when Allah جل جلاله created us – and we are coming from here, or from this country to another country, and from another country to another; this is what Allah جل جلاله wants for people. If they have Rizq/ provision, they will be there. So it is not important for people to look after it.
The most important thing is to be with Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, this is what gives sense for things. Without this, there is no sense for our life, for traveling, for going here and there to find a better life. You cannot find it without being with Allah جل جلاله
For this, the most important thing is to keep yourself and your family safe; safe from this badness of Kufr/ unbelief. They are trying everything, shaytan is trying everything to finish you, to melt you and to make himself happy. When the Mu’min/ believer forgets Allah جل جلاله and runs after Dunya, he loses everything and the shaytan will be happy.
This is a very important thing: for everyone to look after his family, wife and children. Because all the world has now become bad, but in some places it is more difficult to keep this. They try their best to make people lose their religion. And when people lose their religion, they lose everything. After this, we become just like – we don’t say like animal – but like grass, like anything else that’s not human being when we lose this good manner and good thing.
Also the trees, they’re cutting them and using them for something. And animals also, they’re using them and when they’re finished, their mission will be finished. But our mission is not like them. It must be different, it must be better.
Normally it is not so difficult, but people are looking for the easy way. And the easy way is never good for people. Without studying, you cannot go to the next class, the second class, the third class. If you’re not studying, not tiring yourself and not controlling your ego, you will never go from the first class to the second class. And it is as such for life and also the same for religion. This applies for everything.
If you sleep, you cannot succeed in anything. You must tire yourself, you must look for knowledge, for work, for anything. If you are lazy and you’re not going and looking, nothing will happen. Maybe the government here gives you money, but I don’t think that they will be giving you your whole life. But when you’re working, you can save yourself.
And this also applies for religion, don’t say, “It is difficult.” If you say this you will be a loser and you won’t find anything in the next life.
AlhamduliLlah we saw many of our Murids that have small and big children. So they can slowly slowly teach them about Islam. First teach them to say, “Allah, Allah, Allah” and “Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim” and “La Ilaha illa Llah”. Slowly slowly, no need to make them afraid and to make them run away. Insha’Allah with this, Barakah comes to you and Allah جل جلاله keeps them on the right way insha’Allah.
This is very important because now it is too difficult in Europe to do anything for your own children. They say that they must be free. This is freedom. When you make it with love, they can be happy with that and Allah جل جلاله puts in their heart the love of Allah جل جلاله, the love of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and ‘Awliya insha’Allah.
AlhamduliLlah, insha’Allah our gathering here is for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and alhamduliLlah many people brought their family and their children. Insha’Allah they [came] only for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and are asking for knowledge. May Allah جل جلاله give them for their intention. This is a more precious thing for us. You come not for Dunya but for Allah جل جلاله . You come for the precious thing.
Insha’Allah may Allah .جل جلاله not make you go back empty but full of blessings and safe from every badness. May Allah جل جلاله make you go back with this insha’Allah.

Jum’ah Prayer – Schweibenalp, Switzerland
Host: I want to welcome you in the name of the Center of Schweibenalp. It is our pleasure and our honor that Sheikh Muhammad and the Naqshbandi family is coming to visit. The tradition of the Naqshbandi family in Schweibenalp is very long.
You see this hat on my head, it is GrandSheikh Muhammad Nazim al- Haqqani, the Truthful, al-Qubrusi an-Naqshbandi who gave me this hat. It is one of the many signs that he gave to this young friend and disciple more than 30 years ago. In 1984 he arrived here in a VW van with two Ibrahims from Canada and I don’t know where. He came and when he saw the pictures of our inspirer and founder he said, “Oh! That’s the one who sent me here.” And he actually stood at that corner when I came.
The first thing he always said when he opened a speech, “It is by divine association that we can only be here together.” It is only by divine association that we are now together, and we are sharing this space. And it was so lovely to be many times in the Prayer/ Dua of the Naqshbandi. Thank you for leaving us in the Prayer/ Dua Sheikh Muhammad.
My beloved wife Andrea, it’s her first time with all of you, she said, “So many beautiful souls.” That’s the only thing she said. We are very happy to have you here. Thank you very much for being here. As-Salāmu ‘alaykum.
Mawlana: Wa ʿalaykum s-salam wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuh. Thank you for your hospitality. Our Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that you must thank people. When you thank people, you thank Allah جل جلاله. This is our Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s teaching for good manners and good behaviors. We learn every good behavior from them, and they this is what they teach.
For this, when you have good manners and good behavior, your soul becomes more beautiful, with more light and more goodness. For this, when some people go to some place, everybody will be affected by this good thing. You can’t see this good thing but you can feel it, you get affected by it. And sometimes if a bad one is coming to some place, he makes the whole place miserable and bad. Why? Because he’s not feeling good towards people, and not wanting good for people, he doesn’t have any good intention. For this, he makes people miserable.
But when you are doing this for the sake of Allah جل جلاله , to please Him جل جلاله, He جل جلاله is pleased with people who have mercy for other people, who want good for them. In everything, they want good for them. These people are believers who believe that when they want good for people, it will not be less for them, but it will be more for them also. But in the material world, they don’t know this spiritual thing. And they think that if another one becomes good, they will be less good or it will not be good for them. So they must be good and the others don’t matter. The others are not important for them. This is teaching of the material world.
We are living in this material world. The whole world is like this now, but there are places that teach goodness, teach beauty and mercy for people. Who understands is clever. Who doesn’t understand, even if he’s a professor or a doctor or has any high rank in university or in life, if he doesn’t understand this, he will be all the time envious of other people.
Since a long time in our country, they are leaving the dogs and cats free, not doing anything to them. But here, they said that if you leave one cat, after three years they may become ten thousand cats. You look, they are even thinking about this. In our country, we believe that Allah جل جلاله created them and Allah جل جلاله is responsible for them, for their Rizq/ provision, and for everything’s Rizq. Even these animals understand this more and better than professors in this world, the material world.
We must insha’Allah help people. We like to invite people to this “دَارُ السَّلَامِ “House of Peace”. Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla said to come to peace, and not go to another place. He called them to come but they are running away from this. Why are they doing that? Because they are following the teachings of bad people, the ideas of bad people, and material things. They don’t have enough intelligence to think that there is spiritual and spirituality.
May Allah جل جلاله give us this nice idea, and to live with this and to die with this.

VISIT THE GRAVES ON FRIDAY

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says to visit the graves of the mother and father on Friday for it is blessed for those who do it. He encourages us to do this. Some visit and they are already there [in the same country]. But from away also, sometimes people cannot be there since they are in another place, this also reaches them as if you are there in front of their grave.
This is what they want from you after their passing to Akhirah. They want from you this which is as a big present for them. The people of Akhirah, when their relatives or anyone comes and does this for them, they will be very very happy. And others who are looking for something to come from their relatives, but it doesn’t come, they will be sad and miserable. This is what we can do for them.
Some people who are not Muslim, put food, drinks or fruits in front of the grave of their relatives. They cannot eat now. If you want to do this, give it to poor people and it will be for them as Sadaqah and benefit. But for [putting] other things, they’re finished; they cannot eat, they cannot drink, they cannot smell in that place. People must understand this. Who understands will be happy because he’s giving his relatives or friends what they are in need of. They are in need of this. They are not in need of eating or drinking or anything else.
Today is a blessed day. The Day of Jum’ah is like a feast for them also. In this feast they must have something, and this is what they must have insha’Allah.

Every Friday we make Dua for them. Our people from everywhere, from around the world, from Murids and those who love Allah جل جلاله, they read Khatm of Qur’an and they send to present them for the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and Ahlu l-Bayt.
Ila sharafi n-Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allahumma balligh wa awsil thawab ma qara’nah min Khatamati l-Qur’an wal Suwar wal Ayat wal Kalimat wal Salawat wal Tasbihat wal Tahlilat, Hadiyyatan wasila ila Ruhi Nabiyyina Muhammadin salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, wa ‘Alihi wa ‘As’habihi l-Kiram, wa ila arwahi jamee’i al ‘Anbiya’i wa l-Mursalin wa Khudamai sharai’ihim, wa ila arwahi al ‘A’immati al arba’a, wa ila arwahi Mashayikhina fi t-Tariqati n-Naqshbandiyati l- ‘Aliyah, khasatan Imamu t-Tariqati wa Ghawthu l-khaliqah Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Sheikh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, wa sairi Sadatina wal Siddiqiyun. Wa ila ‘arwahi ‘Aba’ina wa Ummahatina, ‘Ajdadina wa Jaddatina, ‘Akhwalina wa Khalatina, ‘Aa’mamina wa A’mmatina, ‘Abnaina wa Banatina, ‘Ahbabina wa ‘Akribaina wa ‘Asdikaina, wa jamee’i al Muslimin wal Muslimat al ‘ahya’i minhum wal ‘amwat. A’la Niyyati sh-shifa’i wa daf’i l-bala’i wa n-nasri a’la l- ‘aa’da’i wal futuh’i wal faraji a’n l-Muslimin. A’la Niyyati Quwwati l-Iman.
Li-Llahi Ta’ala l-Fatiha.
(Translation) To the honor of our Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be upon Him), O Allah convey and deliver the reward of what we have read from the Khatm of Qur’an and Surahs and Ayat and Letters and Salawat and Tasbihat and Tahlilat, as a gift delivered to the soul of our Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and Peace be upon Him), and his family, and his companions, and the souls of all the prophets as well as of His messengers and of those who served their Sharia, and to the souls of the four Imams.
And to the souls of our Mashayikh of the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqa, in particular to the soul of the Imam of the Tariqa Ghawth al-Khaliqa (the Help of Creation), Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Sheikh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, and the rest of our masters and Siddiqiyun.
And to the souls of our Fathers and Mothers, our Grandfathers and Grandmothers, our Uncles and Aunts, our Sons and Daughters, our loved ones and relatives and friends, and all Muslims and Muslimahs the living from them and the dead.
On the intention of Shifa’/ cure, repelling affliction, the victory over enemies, conquest and relief for Muslims. On the intention of strength of faith.]

THE FIRST RULE IN TARIQAH

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

AlhamduliLlah it is a favor from Allah جل جلاله, we are happy insha’Allah. We are pleasing our Lord Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. What’s first for Tariqah people is Adab. There were before some brothers saying that in the Naqshbandi Tariqah there are rules. The first rule in Tariqah is Adab, good behavior. Allah جل جلاله likes the good behavior.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam had the best behavior. So for Tariqah people it is very important to have good behavior, to have Adab.
And in this Adab also, the first and most important is towards Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, our Creator, and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. How to be in Adab with Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla? By thanking Him جل جلاله for everything he gave us and not complaining, because everything for the Mu’min is good.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Everything that Allah جل جلاله gives is good.” Even if it’s maybe not easy, and sometimes bad things are coming, but this Dunya is a place of tests.
So for everything that comes we must say that this is from Allah جل جلاله for us. To make Dua and not complain. Say, “O Lord, give us from your favors. Don’t test us, we cannot carry.”
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam also says, “Don’t ask for Sabr/ patience because Sabr is difficult. Ask for Ihsan/ beneficence, to not give you a test.”
So we are in Tariqah, we must not complain. Everything is from Allah جل جلاله. Ask from Allah جل جلاله to make it easy.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says in one of his Duas, “يَجْعَلُ الصَعْبَ سَهْلًا”
Allah جل جلاله makes the difficult become easy. Allah جل جلاله can do anything, nothing is difficult for Allah جل جلاله. “You can make the difficult easy.” This is a Dua for the Mu’min.
If there’s anything you cannot carry, don’t forget Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, quickly remember Him جل جلاله and say “AstaghfiruLlah”. And not to complain but ask Him جل جلاله to make it easy so that we can carry.
When Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah was making Khatm/ Dhikr, there were five people. And when Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah was making Sohbah, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was writing what he was saying, writing all the Sohbahs. He said, “I wrote 7,000 Sohbah.” The first Sohbah, the first order was about Adab, good behavior.
Masha’Allah with his Adab, Mawlana reached the highest place. And from these Sohbahs that Mawlana Sheikh AbduLlah was giving and Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was writing, this whole knowledge spread this Way in the east and west and in the whole world.

SCHOLARS ARE INHERITORS OF PROPHETS

The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says:
“الْعُلَمَاءُ وَرَثَةُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ”,
The ‘Ulama, scholars or near scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. And,
عُلَمَاءُ أُمَّتِي كَأَنْبِيَاءِ بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ
“The scholars of my Ummah are like the Prophets of Banī Israīl.”
This is a big value for the scholar who is on the way of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa- sallam. They are very precious and very important people.
I just heard now that Sheikh Mahmud Efendi rahmatu Llahi ‘alayhi passed away today. He was very strong and he has thousands maybe a million of followers. He was near ‘Ulama, and he defends and makes people follow the Sunnah of the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, and teaches them knowledge. And he was also Naqshbandi.
What will we do? The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that when some ‘Alim passes away, all what he left will continue until Qiyamah.
May Allah جل جلاله make his rank higher and higher. And insha’Allah we also be in Jannah together. May Allah جل جلاله help us because this is a big loss. And insha’Allah he left after him thousands, five hundred thousand people. Insha’Allah they will continue this good way, and may Allah جل جلاله reward him for what every one of them does.
May Allah جل جلاله help Islam and Muslims.

AlhamduliLlah we meet here again after many years. We meet not for eating or drinking. People come from everywhere just for the sake of Allah جل جلاله and the Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. You are here for Allah جل جلاله, and you have this love for Him جل جلاله
Once we were in Jerusalem going around. This driver knows that we are Tariqah, Sufi people. We were visiting some of the Sufi brothers, Tariqah brothers there, and he was driving us. He saw these people and he said, “You are very few people. Why are the other people, these people who are against Tasawwuf, if anything happens thousands of them gather?” We said that this is the will of Allah جل جلاله , because in the end of times there isn’t any value for the multitude. If you are millions and you are not beloved for Allah جل جلاله and beloved for the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, there isn’t any value for you.
The Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said that in the end of times, which we are living in, there will be too many Muslims but they will be worthless.
