knowing... People forget what they did yesterday and tell it in a different way. And it is not in your authority to judge matters of hundreds of years, more than a thousand years ago. Whoever starts judging is a person with bad intentions. Whoever shows the good as bad and the bad as good is shaytan, a person who follows shaytan. Therefore, what we should do, what should bother us is our own ego.
The saying of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is an order for us. We don’t interfere in other things. It is not Fard, it is not Sunnah. You cannot change anything. Those are past events. And it is unclear what had happened and what they did. Most of the time, the things we know as bad are in fact explained wrongly. Bad scholars and oppressors have shown good ones as bad and bad ones as good.
Therefore, they are not our duty. It is not our duty to analyze them. We follow what our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says. Wherever there are Sahabah, we visit them if we are nearby and show respect to them. And if we are far away, we ask for their Barakah and when we say Ihda’/dedication every time we recite, Shukr to Allah جل جلاله. As we said yesterday, our Tariqah is showing pure and clean Islam to everyone.
“وعلى صحابة رسول الله أجمعين”,
“Wa ‘ala Sahabati Rasuli-Llahi ajma’in” – We show respect to all the Sahabah and send them peace and blessings.
Therefore, it is not good to be involved in Fitnah. It doesn’t bring any goodness to people. It brings badness, darkness and no Barakah. It weakens Iman. There are all kinds of evil in it. You should look superficially. Don’t analyze by wondering what it is that our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said. You can analyze the conditions of the oppressors and misled people. In order to destroy the religion, Kharijites and Batinis came out. There are various types of them. You can look at them in order not to fall in danger.
Otherwise, if there is “سوء الظن”, “Su’i Zann”, evil presumptions regarding the Sahabah, don’t look at it at all. Don’t bother at all. Sickness may enter your heart. When sickness enters the heart, may Allah جل جلاله protect us, people cannot be saved.
May Allah جل جلاله let us attain the Himmah and Barakah of Ahlu l-Bayt of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his Sahabah insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

TARIQA IS A SOLID WAY
12 February 2022/11 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Shukr to Allah جل جلاله our way is coming as the way of truth from our Holy Prophet .صلى الله عليه وسلم. Shukr to Allah جل جلاله . It comes clean without any bends, badness and misleading. The way is the way of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Tariqa means the way; it comes from that. The shaytan and his followers have tried to destroy this way many times. However, it has been solid since the beginning. And this way is going on in the same manner, Shukr to Allah جل جلاله
Our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم tells the Sahabah, there is a Hadith, “You should do ten out of ten. If you don’t do one out of ten, you will be destroyed. And if the Ummah that comes at the end of times does one out of ten, they will be saved. Even if they don’t do nine out of ten, they will be saved”.
There are some Hadith where the Sahabah are told to do everything 100%, that if they skipped 1%, they would perish. There is such a Hadith. And as we said, they were told to do ten out of ten. Why? Because it had to be solid from the beginning. If it was not solid in the beginning, it would have not reached us. Therefore, this way is a solid way. It was handed as such from our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to Sayyidina Abu Bakr.
Sayyidina Abu Bakr was a merciful and soft person, may Allah جل جلاله be pleased with him. After our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, Arabs had started leaving the religion.
Their biggest reason was that they had to pay Zakah. They didn’t want to let go of their money. So they said, “We accept everything except giving Zakah. If you accept it, we will stay in the religion. But if you don’t accept it, we will leave the religion”.
Sayyidina Abu Bakr was a merciful and soft one, may Allah جل جلاله be pleased with him, he said, “If you give not a Dirham but a Kurush less, I will fight you”. Wars took place then, and he got those who went astray back. And then he moved on in the same manner without making concessions.
Therefore, this way is the way of truth. It is the beautiful way, the solid way. Shukr to Allah جل جلاله , our Holy Prophet t صلى الله عليه وسلم
Those who don’t accept Tariqa... People may not join Tariqa. But those who don’t accept it and speak up against it, they will perish, because they will have gone astray. They will have gone out of the way of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. As we said, it is not necessary for everyone to be in Tariqa. It is necessary, actually. But it is voluntary, not Fard and not Wajib. It is a matter of the heart.
When it is a matter of the heart, it is fine. But those who attack it and call them Mushrik, they will perish. May Allah جل جلاله protect us.
Therefore, we have to be careful. Certainly, Tariqas which are true Tariqas cannot be criticized. Those who don’t follow this way are not Tariqas anyway. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May He جل جلاله not separate us from the right way. It is the way that follows the way of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
May we keep going on it insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

HONOR WHAT ALLAH جل جلاله HONORS
11 February 2022/10 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
(Qur’ān 62:09).
‘‘Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū idhā nūdiya li ṣ-ṣalati min yawmi l- jumu‘ati fas‘aw ilā dhikri Llah’,’
‘O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah.’ Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is showing the greatness and honor of the day of Jum‘ah in the Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan.
The day of Jum‘ah is a holy day. It is a gift from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Honor the day of Jum‘ah and attain from its benefits. Attain from the favors you have been given. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Leave everything and go to Jum‘ah prayer on time”. It is the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. No sales should be done during the time of Jum‘ah. Whatever is sold will be a sin. There is a certain time. It lasts for 15-20 minutes, or half an hour the most, and it will be over. Make sure to comply with this order.
Some people comply with it; they close their shops, leave their jobs or take permission to go. But some people don’t have to stay at work. Even though they don’t have to stay, they don’t care. They are referred to Allah جل جلاله. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will punish them.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has honored some things. To honor them is good for people. And to ignore them brings loss to them. Even though Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla honors certain days, there are some new types [of people] who keep calling it Shirk. They are stupid people. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has honored certain things. To honor them is good for us. It brings Thawab to us and gives strength to our Iman. This is the most important thing.
Not to honor them comes from lack of Iman. It weakens Iman. And it is what Shaytan wants. They pretend to do goodness to people, whereas they are either direct hypocrites or idiots. They are either of these two. To honor things honored and ordered to us by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, is the order of Allah جل جلاله. How dare you say the order of Allah is Shirk, repel people and weaken their Iman? As we said, there is no third option: hypocrites or idiot/mindless people.
May Allah جل جلاله give them minds and understanding. And may Allah جل جلاله not separate us from this way. The way honored by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is a beautiful way. The other one is a useless, unnecessary and harmful way. Therefore, may Allah جل جلاله give strength to our Iman. The more you honor what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla honors and loves, the stronger your Iman gets.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Surahs and Ayat, Tasbihat and Salawat from all over the world.
We dedicate them to our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, to his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, Anbiya, Awliya, the Messengers, to the souls of Mashayikh, especially to our Shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Nazim ق, Hajjah Anne, Hala Sultan and the souls of all of our deceased relatives. May the good goals of those who have recited them be achieved. May they become means for their Dunya and Akhirah. For goodness to come and evil to be gone.
LiLlahi Ta’ala l-Fatihah.

THE STINGY IS THE ENEMY OF ALLAH جل جلاله
10 February 2022/09 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
(Qur’ān 59:09).
‘Wa man yuqa shuh-ha nafsihi fa ula’ika humu l-muflihun.’
Those who protect themselves from the stinginess of their egos, they are people who have saved themselves.
An attribute that Allah جل جلاله dislikes in this world is stinginess. [With] This attribute, when people are rich, they can still be stingy. Poor people are not known for this. But when people who have money cannot do charity, it is not good for them. It is a burden for them. They carry the burden for nothing.
We see many people who have big amounts of money. But it is shameful; they do things that even poor ones wouldn’t do. They keep saving money and don’t spend a penny. They spend neither for Dunya, nor for Akhirah.
Their only concern is to save money. And money cannot do anything for them. It has neither benefit here, nor benefit hereafter. They don’t care about the Haram/forbidden and the Halal/permissible. They are not afraid of the Haram, and they don’t ask about the Halal.
They are not saved ones. The saved ones are those who spend in charity, who are able to give for good purposes. Allah جل جلاله has given them this quality. Sometimes you see a man and think that he is very rich. He does so much charity and goodness. But then you see that he doesn’t have so much wealth. But Allah جل جلاله has granted him such a generosity that people think that he is rich because of his attitude. And some people are very rich, but because they don’t give anything, people think that they are poor.
As we said, there is wisdom of Allah جل جلاله in this. May Allah جل جلاله not let us become prisoners of our egos. May we not be slaves of our egos. May we be slaves and servants of Allah جل جلاله so that He grants us Nasib/to be destined to give on His جل جلاله way. It is Nasib/destined, as we said. We have heard about several people who say, “I cannot give. I have enough, but somehow I cannot give. I don’t have the heart to give. Take my life but don’t take my money”. There are such people.
May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May we not be like them insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله give us so that we give in charity and goodness. May we do goodness insha’Allah. And may deserving people get from it all over the world insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله give this beautiful attribute to all of us.
“ الكريم حبيبالله”
“Al-karimu ḥabību Llāh” – A generous person is Allah’s جل جلاله beloved one.
“والبخل عدو الله”
“Wa l-bakhilu ‘aduwwu Llāh” – And the stingy one is the enemy of Allah جل جلاله.
May Allah جل جلاله protect us.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

THE HIJRI ‘URS OF MAWLANA SHAYKH NAZIM
09 February 2022/08 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
(Qur’ān 10:62-63).
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘Alā inna Awliyā’ Llahi lā kḥawfun ‘aalayhim wa lā hum yaḥzanūn (62) ‘Alladhīna āmanū wakānū yattaqūn (63)
, ‘Verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve (62)Those who believed and have been pious (63)
The Awliya of Allah جل جلاله have no fear, no sorrow and no sadness. The Awliya of Allah جل جلاله means the beloved ones of Allah جل جلاله. One of them is Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. By the Hijri calendar today, the 8th of Rajab is the day of his passing away to Akhirah. He had lived his life without fear of anything and without sorrow. And while passing away to Akhirah, it was the same.
Death is ‘Urs, a wedding for them, as our Pakistani and Indian brothers say. They call it ‘Urs which means wedding. It is to reach the union, Akhirah, the most beautiful thing for them.
Therefore, we should strive to become from the Awliya of Allah جل جلاله, to be loved by Allah جل جلاله. It is not necessary for Awliya to show or disclose Karāmāt. Everyone can become the beloved of Allah جل جلاله and a Wali of Allah جل جلاله. A person who carries out the orders of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and stays away from the forbidden things is from the beloved servants of Allah جل جلاله and from those who love our Holy Prophet .صلى الله عليه وسلم
You don’t become Awliya just like that. There are some people who have learned Qur’an by heart, learned all Hadith by heart. But they don’t show respect to our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. They don’t respect the Awliya and don’t respect the Sahabah. They are not considered as the beloved servants of Allah جل جلاله. The beloved servants are the people who respect and love our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and follow his way. They are the Awliya of Allah .جل جلاله
The greatest example is Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. All his life, he was together with Allah جل جلاله and together with our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. His heart hadn’t been apart from them even for a second. It had never been apart. Therefore, he is ever alive. And there is more prosperity in his grave. Therefore, today... We remember him every day, every minute, Shukr to Allah جل جلاله, but today is his occasion. We have to remind you and people.
He had never been with oppressors and he had never approved of oppression. The most important thing is to stand up against the oppressors and speak the truth. As our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says, it is the most accepted Jihad. And he had never stood back. He always spoke up, to everyone and every time, against darkness and oppression. Those who accepted it did so. And those who didn’t accept know for themselves. What’s important is not to approve of oppression and not to be together with oppressors.
May Allah جل جلاله raise his Maqam. May the Maqam of Awliya, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Mashayikh be high. We love them. We love Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, the Sahabah and Ahlu l-Bayt; all of them. Insha’Allah we will be together with them, because our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “A man is with whom he loves.” Insha’Allah we love them, and insha’Allah we will be with them forever in paradise. This is a short separation. Life is passing by quickly.
Insha’Allah this longing and separation will not last forever. We will be together forever insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

SHOWING OFF IS AN ILLNESS OF THE EGO
08 February 2022/07 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
The ego has many illnesses. These illnesses don’t bring goodness to people but only harm. One of them is to show off. Showing off is from the illnesses that the ego likes. People want to show off even with the little things they’ve got. From the poor ones to the rich ones, everyone wants to show off. Those so-called Hojjahs and ‘Alims or people who have nothing to do with religion, all of them have this illness of showing off. Showing off is not important. If you show off by yourself, you will harm yourself, because people have envy and evil eyes. If they envy you, you won’t be good. You will have no goodness in your life.
In old times, there was ‘Aadaab/etiquette of social relations. People were taught not to eat in front of people, not to show off things that people don’t have. Islamic customs were shown and told very well during the time of the Ottomans. Afterwards, they started disappearing slowly. They lasted for 50-60 years after the Ottomans because old people know these customs. But then these customs started disappearing slowly. And instead, people are trying to show off more. Especially, in the last 10 years, it has gone completely out of control. They have in their hands these machines, mobile phones, and every minute they show off to thousands of people, friends and not friends, “I did this. I ate that”. Before, they used to say something rude to such people and call them ill-bred. When people become slaves of their egos, they deserve this nickname. They are ill-bred then.
Allah جل جلاله made everything beautiful. And the most beautiful is Adab/good manners. Adab is Islamic Adab. When others cannot do what you do, when others cannot eat what you eat, it is a pity for them. They may want it too and feel envy. Your food won’t be good for you then. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. As we said, the things that the ego likes are often things that bring harm, things that bring harm to people. We should pay attention to it.
Once Mawlana Shaykh Nazim - let us tell it as a joke - offered to keep a flock of sheep in Cyprus. We made a farm. They brought everything faulty from here and there to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. And then they said, “Look, what a beautiful flock we made for you”. In fact, all of them were not good. We had a shepherd as well. He came down and asked how many sheep we had. We said, “Four hundred. How many will they be next year?” He said, “They must be at least twice more. If not twice, then six hundred”. The next year we looked, it wasn’t more. We asked, “How many are there?” And our shepherd was rather a jackal, he said, “Sheep should not be counted. Their Barakah will be gone”. While deciding if they should be counted or not, eventually, there were only a hundred sheep. In order not to show off, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim had accepted not to count. May Allah جل جلاله raise his Maqam.
It is not good to tell people, “I have this much of this. I have this much of that”. It is good for you to keep some things hidden. People should know this. And they should check if the things others do are right or wrong. We should learn and pay attention to ‘Aadaab/etiquette of social relations and Islamic Adab/good manners. MaAllah جل جلاله protect us from the evil of our egos.
May Allah جل جلاله let us always be on the way of truth insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

DON’T REBEL BUT MAKE SHUKR
07 February 2022/06 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
People of this time are teaching by thinking that they are learned. They say that they are educated. And what they studied is, as our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, in the end of times, they will forbid goodness and order evil. This time is like that. We are living in that time. Everything has become reverse. They are teaching to object to everything, and to go against everything. This is what they teach. “You must oppose. People who oppose, men, women or whoever they are, will be shown respect.” This is what they teach.
And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is teaching to make Shukr. Make Shukr for the favors. You should make Shukr for every moment you are living and every breath you are taking, for you are in a good state. There are many people in worse situations than you are. But whatever you give people, as people nowadays teach this, they say “I deserve more”.
Before, people used to work for seven days in Europe. They reduced it to six days, then five days. And then they said 35 hours a week is too much and that it should be less and less. No matter how much you reduce it, they still don’t like it. They don’t appreciate the favors. They don’t appreciate what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives them. They are always rebelling. They don’t recognize Allah جل جلاله anyway. So everyone is in rebellion.
This thing is not a good thing. How long does a person live? It is not nice to spend those years and live in rebellion. People are not in comfort then. They don’t like anything and don’t accept anything. If they live as Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla wants them to, they will be in comfort and peace. And all their lives will be good.
Sometimes you see a person without a penny living happily. And a person with billions has no peace and no happiness. Therefore, we should acknowledge this favor, we should appreciate this favor. We are breathing healthily. And we breathe even when we are sick. We have Rizq that is coming. We should appreciate this. Allah جل جلاله is giving us breath from His جل جلاله kindness and grace. He is the one who gives us the breath we are taking and the water we are drinking. We should make Shukr.
As Mawlana had said, the fish in the water thinks that it is normal, whereas those living outside are breathing too. And if they go under water, they will drown. If the fish comes out, it will die. And if people go under water, they will die. Allah has given everyone their

TARIQA IS A SOLID WAY
12 February 2022/11 Rajab 1443
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
