Sheikh Nazim is the fortieth Grandsheik of the most distinguished Nagyshubandi Twrigat. He was born in Cyprus on the 21st day of April 1922. He is a descendant of the Holy Prophet Muhammed, on whom be peace. He graduated at the University of Istanbul in Chemisery in the year 1944 he met his Grandsheik Moulana Abdulla Faiz Dagisthant in Damascus. After the passing away of his Grandsheik in the year 1973 Sheik Nazim was handed over the leadership of the most Distinguished Naqshabandi Tarigat.

Sheik Nazim is today spreading the light of the Prophet, on whom be peace, all over the World. It is easy however for Sheik Nazim to spiritually direct his power and to make all the people into believers, but there is no permission as yet to do this till the coming of Seyyadina Mahdi (ulai). Sheik Nazim therefore is now using only his external powers to spread the message of the Prophet, on whom be peace. To speak about Sheik Nazim is difficult because he is unlimited and we are lim- ited. Whatever thoughts that we express about him will not be sufficient as we are not able to even imagine his spiritual position.

It is teported that before Sheik Nazim met his Grandsheik he was a rich man. He sald all what he possessed and gave it all away so that he could follow his Grandshetk. Before Grandsheik Moulana Abdulla Faiz Dagisthani passed away he gave to Sheikh Nazim all his Secret Powers. Sheik Nazim is the last representative of the Prophet (Sal} before the coming of Seyyadina Mahdi falai). There are five Qhufabs in the World and also a Ghat. Thete is also the one who takes from the Prophet, on whom be peace, directly, In this time the one who takes orders dircetly from the Prophet, on whom be peace, and gives it to the Ghauz and the five Quehiubs is Shetk Nazim.

There is at least one thousand two hundred (1, 200) secrets for every movement that Sheik Nazim makes. Normally a person is not able to see and understand them, This is why when Sheik Nazim is addressing us we should not be disturbing him. When a person talks or even makes a disturbing movement while Sheik Nazim is tecturing it brings down the value of the lecture at least hy seven, degrees.

When Sheik Nazim connects up his heart with the heart of a disciple, the disciple connects with Sheik Nazim. If a disciple wants to have this type of connection with Sheik Nazim he should before Fajr prayer connect his heart with the heart of Sheik Nazim for we to three or five minutes every day. On the first day he may connect his heart with Moulenea for one minute, then on the second day he may do this for two minutes, on the third day for live minutes and then eradualky for ten minutes and then fer nventy minutes. This would enable him to be in connection with Moulana . He will be able to see him and to taik with him. If a person takes one step towards him, he will come towards that person with nineoy-nine steps.

There are forty Grandshciks who are all of the rank of Sultan of Awliva. Sheik Nazim is the last of these Girandsheiks and therefore he possesses the Secrets of all che Grandsheiks who were before him. There- fore it can be said thar Sheik Nazim is the Sultan of all the Sultan i Autlivas.

LOVE THAT

In Islam, as a rule, if someone does something: for the sake of Allah Almighty he should noe be getting tired This ig hecause when you work for Allah Admighty, He supports you. Look at the Angels, they never get tired. Perhaps they have been glorifying Allah Almighty tor billions and trillions of years without setting tired. Che mare they glorify Allah Almighty, the more Divine Love they ger. Therefore they dorify Allah Almighty even More.

We are very weak. There are mary wood thoughts thar come fo our mins but must of eur thoughts make us busy and takes us away from the way of Allah. If we are not ierested in using our hearts for Allah Almighty, we are uacless people. Therefore,

Allah Almighty is telling us “Ob mw servants, the whole body is for you and only vour heart ts for Me, keep it for Me™. Are we keeping it for Him, even when we are in prayer? No, we are not, Who is keeping his heart for Him?

Allah Abmiehey praises thase servancs who keep their hearts for Him while in prayer srt while immersed in Worldly affoirs. Therefore it is important for His servants to keep their hearts for their Lord and glorify Han does with Zikr in their hearts. Anyone what zikr even if it be for the duration of his whole life should not get tired. We are now orly beginners and we are trying to he such servants. We must make it our main aim to be such servants. Those people who are with Allah Almighty never forget Him. Even while they ase with their loved ones they remember Allah Almighty day and night and theiz thoughts are always with Him. Do you think that the love of Allah Almighty is going to be the same as mate- ial love? Material love is temporary. Why dor’t you ask for the love of Allah Al- mighty? Why ate you nmming after imita- tive love? Permanent Jove is granted only to

those who remember Allah Almighcy.

From time to time we must try to be alone, to rake count of what we have done and to see what we have achieved and look into ourselves to see whether we have in any way improved. This is the advice of Seyyadina Omar (Ral). Once a month or onee a week at least or better if it could be every day, we must look at ourselves and ask whether we bave improved from the day we took the previous count. This is

necessary even if it may be fust. for a

moment, because in a moment Allah Almighty may give co us a Power. It could be in that moment thar Allah Almighty is looking at you to give an opening to your heart so that a connection maybe made between heayenly stations and you. Only seconds are necessary to reach to blessings from Allab Almighty. His servants should therefore ask their Lord thus “Oh! My Lord Lam looking to You, so that You may grant

to me from Your Divine Love”.

These ways are according co the ilifferent capacities abilities and character- istics of people. We use methods depending on the understanding of people and their beliefs. This is done according to their Will Power. What is most iniportant is the Will Power of those who really want, Therefore we must see the level on which they are at that time so that we can take them from that point to their heavenly stations either slowly or quickly. Therctore we first ask of the seekers whether they are willing to be trained for

their heavenly stations. That Will Power

must come from the seckers themselves. Then the master of the Tarigat will give them something according co that level. Sometimes they do nor give anything as it

characteristics within them, which will make them free to start moving upward. Suft masters must have the Spiritual Powers so that when they look at sameone they will know their capacity. It is important not toe give anyone more than whar they can

We are on the level of being scekers and not even yet beginners. We must prepare ourselves and try to command our egos not

The ego knows that if you leave it that it would be left forever and it will not be able to control you anymore. Therefore this is a battle between our egos and our souls. Therefore when you are able to control yourself at che lowest level, which is your ego, then it would become easy to improve little by little towards

Heaven.

Anyone who asks for heavenly ways must find a Holy Person who knows his student's capacities and abilities. When vou have conquered your ego, you will find new Worlds and

new views that you have never seen before.

MAKE THE ENTRANCE TO HEAVEN WIDE

Muhammed, may peace be upon him, The Prophet, on whom be peace, was saying, “If you disohey just one command out of a hundred, there is fear that your faith is becoming weaker. [t could even mean that you are loosing your faith. You must follow all commands. That is your position. Bat there will come a time in which if one of my people just follows one command out of a hundred, that in itself will mean that the person has ¢ lot of

faith”. That is the time we are in now.

People in our days have heen given knowl-

edge. Many people have knowledge. There are many scholars who have knowledge, but they do not have wisdom. As a result they make people mm away from Islam. They do not accept a person who only comes and says, “La ilaha dlalah Muharamud ur rasdolullah”. It is enough to start with. We know that these Holy words are the keys tu paradise. Hf we keep them until the end, it is enough. We do nox tell people that we have a hundred commands and that chey must do all of them and that if they don’t they are not Muslims. What foolishness that would be! The new types of scholars who do this have no understand-

ing. They are like cassette tapes. That is

the reason why we are loosing. The Non- Muslim World is locking to Iskam with

hatred because of these people who try to spread Islam without wisdom and without

love.

Muhammed, may peace be on him, was first of all ordered by Allab to teach people to say these words Lu lene iledlah. That was the first command. “Let them say these words and forever declare My Uniry and My Existence. That is enough. Even if they don't declare, Mihummud ur vasoohullah, 1 will make a judgement for them!” This 1s because when Muhammed (Sal) asked about being allowed te make intercession for people, Allah granted him to intercede only on behalf of the people who would say, La daha alah Muhammad ur rasoolullah. Those whe only say, La Tlatha [aullak, Allah

would judge them Himself.

Make the entrance to paradise as wide as possible, Don’t make it narrow, because it is not narow. Make it as wide as the dis- tance between east and west and let

people enter. Don’t ever say fo anyone who

is turning towards paradise that he cannot enrer. If someone has tured his face to the

Lord, then don’t tam him away.

Te is a sign that in che ok Mecca before renovation, there used to be forty open eates to the Kaaba. There were no dears that could be locked. Anyone who wanted to could enter anydme. The people who say that they are widening the space there by their renovations have put huge doors there and closed it. Allah Almighty then made some other people to go inside and to close the doors and to put fire on them. At the heginning of the 15th Islamic Century some people did just that. That was the punishment. for them. But no one under- stands. The Kaaba should have no doors, only entrances. People should he able ta

come and go anytime.

Anyone who asks Allah in his heart, even “ar the last moment will be accepted. Even ifas many devils as there are grams ot sand is sent to that person, they cannot. succeed. Once the heart of a servant has been

turned te the Lord, it is finished. Saran can

Allah Almighty will ask no questions from

him. He will nor be questioned. “Piiis is

because when he comes to rhe EXvine

cause he has reached to what he has heen

asked to reach. He has reached 1 perfce- ?] tien as Allah Almighty had commanded

him. He hus therefore done his best and

julnlled his purpose. Ie is due to this cessen

that he shall nor be questioned.

We are now within limits, and our sight is as Howe are within four walls. But when Allah Almighty dresses one of His servants in Noor there shall be no hindrance to his sight and Ins vision. Distances, walls, buildings, mountains ete. nom-of these shall obstruct the vision of this servant. Nothing

He will be able to look in any direction

and every direction. He shall be able to see”

without diseraction up to the end of that direction.

Distance shall not effect his vision. Neither will darkness in the night ke a veil over his sizht. Night shall appear as day to him. This is because he is dressed in this Noor. Every cell of his body is also Neor and like the shining of the Sun he shall be inside and outside of everything. Such a person

shall be in the Divine Presence.

If Alish Almighty questions such a servant it shafl he in the form of speaking to him only in order to bomour him. When Ajlah Almighty speaks to and addresses such a servant more and more honour comes [oO that person. This is only for honouring as His servant has done his bese for Allah Almighty and has reached already to perfection. This is why he shall not be questioned. He has realised and reached to what Allah Almighty has asked of him and to what Allah Almighty has appointed

for him.

Ifa person does his bese in trying to fulfil the purpose of his Lord, he must somehow reach to that station. When a servant of Allah Almighty reaches to such a station it shall never be lost to him. It shall be forever. When the real Power of Iman enters his heart he shail change from being a worldly being into a heavenly being and his relationship to his heavenly stations

shall be for always and ever.

In Unity he shall have no more troubles, no more problems, no more sadness and ne more hopelessness. He shall be granted by Allah Almighty to be able to say “BE” and it shall become. When he reaches to that station he shall have no more egoistic desires. Finished. No more shall he belong to Dunya nor shall he even belong to himself, He shali belong to Allah Almighty and Allah Almighty shall accept him. To live for Allah Almighty is the highest horizon of servanthood. We have been asked to move towards this horizon. This is

our target.



When a person belongs to Allah Almighty he leaves everything and says Innez Wijidhatho Wajjhiva Lillazee Fuathiras Samawathee Wal Arla Hanif. ‘Oh my Lord I have now turned my face to you’. Do we really mean ic when we say this or do we say this only with our tongnes. Allah Almighty is asking us to say it and mean it. To say “Oh my Lord, I belong to you and I am leaving out every other relationship in this life of mine. | am asking for a telarion- ship with You in Your Heavens”. Then we shell be given this relationship with Heav-

ens.

We are now too busy with this Dua, and the World occupies all our time. Some of us are businessmen and the rest are “busymen’. When are we going to he free to be able to say. “I belong to you and I am running towards you". When you wall in steps towards Allah Almighty He runs towards you. For example, when a cuest steps into the hosts home with one step and when the host sees him coming, the host runs to- wards his guest in order to honour the

guest. Likewise when a servant takes a step

towards Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty also cums towards hina, and this is the

biggest hengut.

Allah Almighty says “when My servant puts one step towards Me in order to come to Me, I will go towards him running. If he approaches Mc a distance of one foot, I shall move towards hina with a distance of one yard. If he is approaching Me in the measure of yards, I shall approach him with a biyger measuring”. Yes, this muse be.

When we turt our faces towards Him and

ask to step towards [Hs Divine Presence and leave this life behind to find Allah Almighty, He shall run towards us. There- fore the target of all Muslims is to cry to belong to Him and to say “] am your servant, | belong to You and my service is only to You, and not to another” and to be

able to reach to that point.

How are we going to make it possible to belong to Allah Almighty and not to anothez? Unlike Angels we have our physical needs. Yes, T acknowledge that

through this life we need something for our

physical body, but if we keep our hearts only for Allah Almighty and make it clean for Him and ready for Him, it would then he possible to belong ro Him. Allah Al- mighty created our hearts, blessed it with His endless favours and said “The heart belongs to Me only. The rest is for vou, but

keep only the heart for Mle".

Therefore we must control our hearts so that there will be nothing in our hearts except Allah Almighty. Then, whenever Allah Almighty looks ac your heart, He shall sce that He is there. Allah Almighty will then say “char servant belongs to Me”. Allah Almighty grants this to His Saints. The Saints are keeping it, and giving of this also to others as the Saints know the Secret of giving. Allah Almighry says “Qh inv servant give, because Tam giving to you”. Ifa person gives for che sake of Allah

Almighty his pockers shall never be empty.

Allah Almighty sends endless blessings during both day and night by making the heart say “Alla Allah ,” because the heart

belongs to Allah Almighty only. When the

heart of a person belongs to Aliah Almighty thar person would not be able to forget Allah Almighty, and he shall belong to Allah Almighty.

It is nor good even for one second to be heedless of Allah Almighty.
