Suhbah 2020: Maulana Shaykh Mehmet Adil ar-Rabbani (6/25)

https://www.nvrislam.net/index.php?j=eng&post=5556
This time includes hours when it is accepted. It is not known at which moment the hour of acceptance will be, so prayers, acts of worship, and good deeds that are done will be acceptable when they happen at this appointed time.

Allah did not make the hour of acceptance clear, and this is for the benefit of people, so that people do not forget Him. If the specific hour had been revealed, people would do their acts of worship and prayers [only at that time and] then move on with their affairs. [But] because this [time] is hidden, they hope their acts of worship and [good] deeds will happen at the secret hour of acceptance. Insha’Allah, for the sake of this hour Allah will forgive us.

A lot of repentance is necessary too, because through repentance sins are forgiven, and when sins are forgiven the penalty that Allah put on us becomes lighter and [even] removed by Allah’s will. But those who are stubborn… The main characteristic of kufr is stubbornness. He [the stubborn person] does not accept the truth, and insists on his own opinion. Stubbornness is the main characteristics of kufr and of Satan’s character. He does not accept the truth. Even if he knows the truth, he speaks

contrary to it. We do see this, but these things are not important. For us, our own repentance is more important.

The Holy Prophet says, “I, too, repent seventy times a day, “AstaghfiruLlah, astaghfiruLlah al-‘Aẓīm.”

This is very important, because it attracts Allah’s mercy upon us. Allah loves those who repent. He accepts the repentance. So for ourselves, we should continue to repent, and then make prayers, and by the will of Allah we will be saved from this penalty, this calamity. This is important. Without this, the others are not possible. Of course precautions are to be taken, but besides precautions there is this adab, and this is more important than the precautions.

Precautions, nevertheless, should still be taken. It [the result] cannot be without precautions, either. For the precaution to be effective, though, repentance and prayers are necessary.

May Allah be our helper. Those who refuse to offer prayers are the ones who are stubborn, and whatever they do will not be beneficial. So rather than respecting them, we shall turn towards Allah. May Allah be our helper. May Allah remove this calamity, Insha Allah.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

41.SUBMISSION AND FAITH Saturday, 28 March 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. May Allah ‘azza wa jalla bless our day, insha’Allah, and cause it to be good. Allah says, “Ana al-ḥākim.” “I am the Ruler.”

[Editor’s note: The transcription was unclear, but I think this was it.] What He does must not be questioned. What He wishes, always happens. Other than that, nothing else occurs. Submission to Him is necessary. It is also necessary to be thankful for what He does, so that He may have mercy on us and keep us on the right path. This is what is important.

There is a visible disease at the moment, but this is something that can be taken care of. People are occupied with this virus while they have no knowledge of spiritual illnesses. They cannot see this, but [only] the virus. The whole world is in a panic to find a way to deal with it. This is nothing compared to spiritual illnesses. So this trial was necessary for people, so that they come back to their selves a little. Unfortunately, they still have not. It may appear as if they are coming back, but once the case is over, they will forget and turn back to their egoic self. They will forget that all of this has happened.

This or that did happen, [yet] all of the suffering that they have gone through will be in vain.

Being thankful to Allah is more important. Shukr is for what good

happens, and hamd is for all times [—Shaykh Efendi spoke Arabic here— ], for all His doings.

People, mankind, as the Holy Prophet said, towards the End Days evilness will be ordered and goodness will be banned. Can there be a worse illness than this? This virus [i.e., a virus of misguidance and misbehavior] started in Europe and has passed on to us. They were the ones who taught perverted acts to children as young as three or four. They included this in their lessons. Then they ask mercy of Allah. Already they deny Allah. Allah ‘azza wa jalla will punish them in this world, yet even so punishment in the Next World is worse when compared to punishment in this world. This that has happened is a great miracle, a miracle of Allah. Its nature is as a rehearsal of the Day of Judgement, so that they come back to themselves. Those who do so will be saved, while those who do not will be pass in vain and receive no benefit either here or the Next World.

May Allah strengthen our faith. May Allah protect our faith. Our iman is more important than our ego. Death will take place for sure whenever or wherever.Leaving this world with iman is the most important thing. The rest is vain.

May Allah protect us and strengthen our faith, Insha Allah. The faith of Muslims has been quite wounded. These demons have attacked them constantly. Most people’s faith is either distorted, or they do not have faith at all. May Allah give us faith, strengthen it, and protect it.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

42.IMAN IS THE GREATEST GIFT Sunday, 29 March 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. A hadith from the Holy Prophet says “During the last days [incidents of] fitna become like dark nights,” and this will leave one confused. This is the Holy Prophet’s righteous word which indeed always comes to fruition, but in the time we are in, it is seen clearly to be so. The Holy Prophet says, “One who lives during the Last Days lives in the hardest days.” His reward is greater, and his merits are more. According to one’s difficulties, Allah increases one’s reward.

Allah created us to be in this time. He destined us to be in the Last Days. Thanks be to Allah that we are on the path of Haqq, and that He has willed to bestow iman upon us. This is a beautiful gift of Allah, and is one which is not destined for many. And so it is necessary [for us] to thank Him for [our] having faith and to thank [Him] for our state.

Allah ‘azza wa jalla shows us all that it is not in our hands, and that everything is destined by Allah, and is according to His will. So when people ask, “What is going to happen?” —for the one who possess faith, it will be good, [indeed] everything is good for such a person, says the Holy Prophet.

As long as one has faith, there is no fear. If there is no faith, then one must fear. Those with no faith run here and there in vain, and in the end what Allah has ordained happens.

Again we say the same: May Allah increase our faith! This is important. Faith is a good thing, a best gift, and everywhere and at all times it is the best thing.

May Allah strengthen our faith, and have us spend our lifetime in faith. May Allah have others taste it too, and have them experience its beauty. May these calamities be easy, insha’Allah, with patience. It will be made to pass. Nothing is forever. They say, “It is forever...” [i.e., repeating the words of Mustafa Kemal]. It is a big mistake to say that we will follow him [i.e., Mustafa Kamal] forever.

Those whom we will follow forever are the prophets, and here on earth there is no post-eternity. Events only occur until the Day of Resurrection or up until a certain point in time. So everything that occurs here in this world will come to an end. It is the prophets who are perpetual. By Allah’s order this continues forever, until the Next Life. May Allah have our faith to be with them, Insha Allah. Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

43.BE CALM AND DON’T SIDE WITH OPPRESSORS Monday, 30 March 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. A game has been organized, and now they say, “The world will not be the same again.” As they see it, they threaten other people for their own interest’s sake. They did things so as to govern the world. It is done by some people, and they have plans, etc. What they have been planing [though] is not for the benefit of mankind but for their own.

They do this in order to rule over the world. There have always been Nimrods and Pharaohs, and they continue to try to manage the world [to place it] under their rulership. Allah will let their plans go ahead, however, [only] until an appointed time, and then Allah will turn their plans upside down. So there is no need to be hopeless. Relax your hearts.

Muslims, those with faith, have their strength in their faith. Allah is with those who are with Him. Stay on the side of Allah, and not against Him. No matter how strong they seem to be, they have no power.

Allah will cancel all their dirty work suddenly, and then they will not be able to manage anything. So trust in Allah, and turn towards Him. Those who are with Allah are the victorious ones, and they gain. This [message] is for Muslims, because Muslims are naive, and they easily believe whatever they hear. They see the outward, [but] not the inward. What it is or is not, they do not know, and so they should be with Allah and thus be saved here and in the Next World.

Do not take the side of the oppressors! Stay on the side of Allah. Allah is not an oppressor. Oppressors are those who obey Satan and pharaohs. May Allah protect us and guide people. May Allah protect everyone. Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

44.MAKE YOUR FORCED KHALWA A BLESSING Tuesday, 31 March 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, “Wa mā khalqtnā-‘l-jinna wa’l-insa illā li-ya‘budūn” (Qur’ān 51:56). Allah created jinn and mankind to worship Him. Allah ‘azza wa jalla says, “I do not ask of them provision, but they are created to worship to me.” We recently passed through the month of Rajab, and now we are in the month of Shaban. These are [amongst] the holy three months. This year there happened to be an opportunity for people not go to work. There is [even] an order put on them not to go to work but to stay home. What should one do while home? We should at least live up to the reason for which Allah created us, and this obliges us to carry out our daily practices of worship. Normally these [months] are for khalwa, [but] it is now an obliged seclusion (khalwah) for everyone so that they do not go out. There is good in bad. For us this happened to be an opportunity to stay home, and yet most people spend this time in vain. They trouble themselves, whereas in fact, the purpose of our creation was to make an effort to worship. As far as work outside home for our provision, we are to ask for halal earnings, [the working for] which is considered an act of worship coming from a good intention. But since we all are now obliged to stay home, let’s take care of our daily [worship] practices, [too].

This what Allah approves and likes. We should take care to do this consciously and with attention. Do as much daily practice as you can, such as reading the Holy Quran, the Dala’il ul-Khayrat, looking into the hadith. Do as much as possible of every practice of worship. Do your

tasbihat dhikr and salawat. Organize it all and do a certain amount in the morning, some at noon. Tell yourself that this much time you will allocate to the mornings or afternoons for reading a certain amount, that you will get up for tahajjud, will pray the fajr before sunrise, and so forth. Make a great effort to fulfill your daily practice routine in the best way possible. Do not be idle. Too much idleness is not good. It will cause bad moods and will bother you. Acts of worship will sort all these out, cause goodness, and make you [usefully] busy.

We are fulfilling the purpose of our creation and not standing idle. It is important not to waste [our time], so have it pass in a fully meaningful way, insha’Allah. Your reward is more if a bit of suffering is required, and that is even the case during these three holy months. Allah normally rewards 10 times to 1, but during these months it is multiplied by hundreds, too. This is an opportunity to make the most of it, which is something good for you and your Akhirah.

May Allah accept it. May Allah protect us. May His provision be lasting. The greatest provision is faith.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

45.GIVE NO ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWERS OF EGO Wednesday, 1 April 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Allah created mankind, but mankind is ungrateful and needs to train his ego. Allah ‘azza wa jalla sent the prophets in order for him to do this and to form it so that it becomes eligible to be a servant in the sight of Allah. One who submits to his ego is not eligible to be a servant, because he is the servant of his ego and not of Allah.

We witness sometimes amongst us some people doing good and then instead of receiving good in return, others do them evil, not considering whether it is the right time to do evil or not. This is because the ego is riding such people without allowing them any other consideration. In times of calamity, they are even more ungrateful, and respond with evil to the good done to them.

This type of people is not accepted [by Allah], and thus are worthless. These people are useless for others too, because they have no benefit for themselves either. For this reason, others should neither pay attention to them, nor listen to what they say, nor consider them. And there are a many such people, because whoever does not train his ego by definition submits to it. He will then commit every kind of evil and badness, and yet will feel that he has done something worthy of praise. They are worthless. People with good manners (adab) are the [real] worthy ones—those with sincerity (ikhlās), those who acknowledge what is valuable.

So during these hard days, when people are going through difficult times, unworthy people put their egoic self forward, and with great effort try to fulfill what their ego is ordering them to do. These are all worthless nullities, though they make [much] noise now through using these gadgets to talk and write. Apparently they are...

Thanks be to Allah that we have no time [to spare] to look at these things, and may Allah not oblige to look at them. There is absolutely no need to look at what such are up to. They desire their evil self, and there is no need to look at something ugly. Apart from being ugly, they smell bad too. They have a bad odor in the spiritual realms. As a dead animal or some living things smell odious, so do these worthless people. They are rotten. They are the slaves of their egos. Do not consider them, for neither does or did Allah. Be careful not to pay attention to them. Do not say, “Let me see what this guy is saying.” No, do not look at all. This is such a foul smell that you need to flee away from it with [all of] your might, because its smell is so bad that [even] your stomach might become upset. They need to be disregarded and kept away from. Let them scream as much as they can, [still] they are not worth a penny. Does a dead carcass have any value? No, not at all. So instead seek how to escape from them, not to stand by them. If these people [themselves] could perceive this spiritually foul smell, [even] they too would want to run miles away.

May Allah protect us. We ask Allah to guide them, so that we will not follow them [in their evil]. We should not like their ways. May Allah put us among the good ones, and keep us with them.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

46.THE MORNING IS NEAR Thursday, 2 April 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, “A- laysa ṣ-ṣuḥbu bi-l-qar īb” (Qur’ān 11:81) “Is not the morning near?” People, Muslims are asking when this thing will be over. Allah 'azza wa jalla answers in the Quran “A-laysa ṣ-ṣuḥbu bi-l-qarīb” (Qur’ān 11:81). He says morning is near. “Is morning not near?” asks Allah. Everything has an end. Insha Allah, this will end soon, however as we said before, even though this ends, everyone has his own end.

The world has its own [end], and for everything there is an appointed time. These things will happen. It is going to be said, “Ya Hu!” and then these things too will pass by. All will pass by—good and bad. The world is not eternal, and people should think accordingly and prepare themselves. “Kullu akhir qarīb.” Every end is coming “near”. You say something had a year to happen it, and it happens after a year. You say such and such will happen after some years, and those too happen in time. Life goes by, and the life of the earth does too. So these situations will pass by Allah’s permission, too. And this is good for us, and it is from the wisdom of Allah!

Accordingly, glad tidings must be spread. Believers, Muslims, should have hopes that good things will come in the future. Islam says to Muslims, to believers, “Give glad tidings! Be happy!” Allah ‘azza wa jalla gives glad tidings always. For a Muslim everything is for his benefit! Even if it appears to be something bad. So, Insha Allah, [the

current] manifestations of suffering will not effect [Ed.: i.e., will not ultimately be harmful to] Muslims. It will effect rebellious people. They have nowhere to go for support. They live lives in futility.

We ask for the support of Allah. May Allah protect us and make it lighter. May Allah protect us and give strength to our faith.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

47.DUA ON FRIDAYS Friday, 3 April 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Thanks be to Allah that today is another blessed Friday, a feast day for Muslims. Its virtues are so great that Allah 'azza wa jalla allocated this day to the Holy Prophet, and has given it as a gift to his umma. No one other than Allah knows the worthiness of this day. It greatly benefits us.

There is a destined time to join when all prayers are accepted. Within the twenty-four hours, this destined time is an hour long. [Exactly] when or what time it is is uncertain, but dua should continue all day. If the dua happens to be at that appointed time, acceptance occurs.

Generally, Allah ‘azza wa jalla says, “Make dua; I accept dua.” Some say their dua are not accepted. That may well be, but it means that their dua will be answered in the Next Life instead. When they are left to Next Life there is such benefit in it that a man later says, “I wish all my prayers had not been granted to me in life but Here.” Allah’s favor and grace, however, are great. He is generous so that we ask from Him for here and for the Next Life, insha’Allah.

These are days of hardship. Let’s pray that Allah helps us. May Allah protect. May Allah have the world of Islam go through this in peace and protection, Muslims and those who are close to Allah. Those who go against Allah certainly receive their penalty unless they repent. Instead of repenting, though, there are people who go even further [astray] in

their action. This is because of the stubbornness of denial (kufr). Someone who is kafir is stubborn and does not accept the truth. A Muslim is the one who accepts the truth. Those who do not are not Muslims.

You need to accept the truth so that Allah will help you. May Allah give strength and protect us. We do accept the truth, and we accept that all is from May Allah favor us so that we come out of this in safety. What is important is to protect [our] faith. We all have to pass the test. Stay stable. Seek refuge in Allah, as we always say, by means of prayers, recitation, dhikr. This is a beautiful month, the month of the Holy Prophet. Insha’Allah, for the Holy Prophet’s sake, the umma will come out of this in safety.

This Tuesday is the 15th of Sha’ban. That night whatever will occur [in the coming year] is written. May good be written down.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

48.BE HAPPY, DON’T FEAR Saturday, 4 April 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, “Fastabshirū bi-bay‘ikum” (Qur’ān 2:111). “So rejoice in your transaction (bay‘)”. Allah tells us to give glad tidings always. He says, “Give glad tidings.”

When our lives are successful in earning the pleasure of Allah, this is the greatest of glad tidings! This is unlike anything else. It is nothing like the deceiving ornaments of this world. This is the truth. Believing in Allah is the greatest glad tiding for you.

Insha’Allah, after we pass successfully all these tests in this world, we will receive the rewards, insha’Allah.

Already this month is the month of the Holy Prophet, the month of Sha’ban. This is the month that will dismiss the sufferings. After a few days, it will be Baraat Night, the 15th of Sha’ban. Then by Allah’s will, it all will be lighter. We will pass this test that has been ordained for us. Most people will receive it not as a sign of punishment but as a test. Allah has shown His mighty power. Those who have realized this have acknowledged his power, and those who have not realized it are still suffering in vain, have felt fear, have suffered and will suffer more.

So a mu’min should not be afraid—all is from Allah! Allah does not let anything continue forever. Everything has its certain and appointed

time. Once that time passes, it is over. Insha’Allah, this is going to strengthen our faith. You may think it is bad, however there must be a great good in it. Many people who forgot Allah, or who did not recognize Him, [begin to] beg Allah during a calamity. This is what people do during hardship, so sometimes hardship is useful for people! It reminds them about that we are not here for this world’s purposes. No world remains today. What is going to happen next, they do not know that either. Not knowing what is going to happen is also something that comes from not having faith.

Allah is Razzaq [i.e., the One providing] and Kareem [i.e., the One who is generous]. If you have an allotted provision, you will receive it. If you do not have an allotted provision, you will go on to Next Life. This is why there is no need to think too much about it. [You should ask] what your faith is like, and commit yourself to worship during these holy three months. Whatever [worship] you do, [whether] 100 or 700 times, every practice will be rewarded. With this your life will have barakah in it, too! And by Allah’s permission you won’t be dependent on others.

May Allah give us strong faith, real faith. The rest is not important.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

49.SALVATION IS FROM ALLAH, WITH HIS PROPHETS AND THE AWLIYA Sunday, 5 April 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Thanks be to Allah that He created us in the religion of Islam. May He have us live on the path of Islam! May we be resurrected as Islamic. This is an important thing. because being on the side of Allah is a great rizq. Allah does everything He desires. Being against Him is the worst of unfortunate fates, an evil. Its end is bad. Those with Allah are the prophets, awliya, and mumineen. Those who are against Him are Satan and those who follow Satan. And although those who are good are fewer in number, they are the better ones. There are a lot people who want to follow the evil. Their eyes do not see the truth. There are a lot of those who are blind. There are a lot of them claiming the sun is not a sun.

Are you going to submit to them or to Allah? Those who are with Allah are saved. You will be with Allah in good times and bad times. Not only to remember Allah in bad days, but also in good days you need to be with Allah. If you stay with Allah, He protects you from what? Sins. Those who are protected against sins are those who receive the mercy of Allah. His mercy takes it all away.

“Wa-raḥmati wasi‘at kulla shay’” (Qur’ān 7:156). Allah 'azza wa jalla says in the Quran, “My mercy encompasses all things.”

There is no such thing as “it is excessive [for Allah’s mercy]”. Everything

is possible. Ask for Allah’s mercy! He shows mercy to those who ask for it. If anyone does not ask, it is his own fault! Rijālu ’Llāh (The Men of Allah), are placed amongst people as His mercy. They are legacies of the prophets (AS). 124,000 Rijālu ’Llāh, awliya of Allah, are always in this world. When they are called out to, they attend. This is why it is said of those who are unseen, that they are unseen but remain amongst people. Through them Allah shows mercy to people and forgives them. The Abdal, the Akhyar, the Awtad— through them your provision is given, rain is given, victory is given to you. This is why it is always necessary to call upon these men. Some of them are alive now, too. Certainly when one of those who is alive passes away, there always remains another living who one replaces him. For the sake of the 124,000 awliya, may the umma reach safety, insha’Allah, and may the kuffar lose. Stay within Islam, insha’Allah. Stay with Allah so that your doings are not in vain. Let us not leave disappointed after having assumed that our doings were good.

May Allah protect us, and make this test easy. Insha’Allah, the end of it is going to be good.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

50.BARAAT NIGHT Monday, 6 April 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya. Insha’Allah not tonight, but tomorrow night, is the 15th of Shaban, the Night of Baraat. It is a blessed night. All that was written for the past year until this night is all going to be completed, and all that is going to happen throughout the next year will be written down. These are the truthful things that the Holy Prophet informed us about. With His wisdom, Allah ‘azza wa jalla writes these things down a year in advance, every year, all that is going to occur. So this is His wisdom. People may ask for things, and insha’Allah Allah ‘azza wa jalla will accept their requests, wants. May it all be means for goodness.

There are three recitations of Yasin Sherif. The first is for a long life with faith, the second is for provision, and the third is for protection. Then following these, there are some specific prayers, and then [one should] spend the night in worship, as much as one is capable of, doing prayers such as the tasbih prayer and the shukur prayer, and there is [also] a prayer which is 100 rakat, and those who are capable should perform this prayer. Sheikh Mawlana used to perform it every year for sure, even in the years when he had to sit and pray. He performed this prayer [every Baraat] until the end of his time.

During this blessed night, of course, the door of prayers [is open], and He asks his angels, “Are there any who repent? Any who ask for forgiveness, provision, health—whatever they want—for the door of prayer is open until morning?” That’s why for this blessed night, Insha Allah, the

occurrence of this disease will be lightened [starting] from now.
