Anything they may be in need, we are supporting them also. Because we are not buying these three big places for dunya. No, never. But we tried to reach some big centers in London, therefore I tried so many years, perhaps thirty years I was there, and the Lord of Heavens making me successful to make so many mosques. St. Anne's is now under our control, fully, but these three ones that no trust working on it or chief trustee, we must look, we must arrange how we may use for the sake of Allah and Rasuluhu Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and making to change how many trustees there, as I like to be a trustworthy person and a mukhlis, sincere one, and young ones, to be, to take care through these three places. If anyone getting against my declaration, then it is not going to be good for them. If coming some heavenly punishment I don't know. My maqsad, my intention, to work as I like, that I was intending. I would never intend to buy something and to take some benefit on behalf of mosques, estaghfirullah. I am, I have enough, Allah Almighty giving to me, in our country, enough. After this age I am not asking dunya, I am ashaming. But I am asking that these three places also to be put for the benefit of young people or calling people to come and to learn Islam. I like to take over the whole trust and bring new ones. New ones. There should be chief trustee: Shaykh Hisham. And also to be chief trustee Shacklewell Lanes and owner and chief trust on Green Lanes dergah. is not a door like you or I can comprehend. The Prophet (sas) stopped there because of its magnificence. He asked Jibril "What is there beyond this door?" "You know O King of Prophecy, O Beloved of Allah. The whole creation is created because of you, O Glorious Prophet! Its key is with you. Its key is with you". From above the Prophet was told: "Say O My Beloved, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim". He (swt) didn't allow Jibril to say it, the Lord Himself told him. "Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim O My Beloved so the door opens" & it opened. It is such a magnificent realm, that no one knows about it. No one has seen it before & no one ever will either. It is such a magnificent realm. Allah Allah.. The door opened, it is such a realm that it has no equal among the ones that they saw before. It is such a magnificent realm that there is no equal or no match for it. 4 rivers run in it, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, 4 rivers run. 4 rivers, when the Prophet (sas) looked he saw that these 4 rivers with the Ism al-Jalal (Allah), arRahman, arRahim become Bismillahi r- Rahmani r-Rahim. Through each one of these "mim"s, a river runs through each one of them. This river is the pure water which is the ma' ul-hayat (water of life). And also there is the river which is of pure honey and also there is the river which is of pure milk & also there is the river of.. There is nothing that we can understand about it other than its name- wine. Wine that is the wine of al-Kawthar. It runs like this. When he looked, he saw Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. When he looked at it, Allah (swt) said "It is for your nations, O Glorious Prophet! Whosever says this, yas'ad- there is eternal happiness for him. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. He drinks from those rivers- he finds eternal life & drinks from those rivers: Pure water, pure honey, pure milk & pure what goes by the name "wine". Nothing has the magnificence it has. This illustration & expression of ours is zero below zero! Allahu Akbar. Ya Rabbi, may You dress on us from the barakah of Bismillahi r-Rahmani r- Rahim. May our troubles leave us. May we be granted the haqq al-hayat, the eternal life. He (swt) says "Recite the Bismillah. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. "Bismi Rabbika Alladhi Khalaqa. Khalaqa Al-'Insana Min `Alaqin" (96:1-2) Subhan Allah. He (swt) says "Read! In the Name of your Lord, O Beloved". Who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim is dressed with Divine Light. Who says Bismillahi r- Rahmani r-Rahim is dressed with spirituality..Allah! Each time he says this, he is dressed with..What we mentioned is only 4 but in reality Allah Almighty dresses a dress each time one says the Bismillah & it is beyond our mental capacity.. How can one truly comprehend it.. The whole universe cannot comprehend, cannot understand even a speck of it. Allahu Akbar! You are Subhan O Lord. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. It gives strength to our bodies.. This body of ours is nothing. It constantly dresses the dress of strength, majesty & magnificence on the bodies of the believers in paradise. They are dressed with these, with Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Masha Allah! O our Lord! May You save us from this filthy life & take us to Your Divine Presence... What is needed to reach Your Presence? May You make us say, know the Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim- the door to Your Divine Presence. May we not run after the dirty life. May we run to Your servanthood O Lord. May You dress us from Your Divine Light, from Your Spirituality, from the barakah of the Bismillah O Lord. Who drinks from it becomes a lion. Who can't drink becomes shaytan. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. "Iqra' Bismi Rabbika Alladhi Khalaqa- Read remembering the Name, the Holy Name of the Creator, O My Beloved". He did read & he- the Prophet (s) was granted a knowledge not of the world but of the universe. O our Lord, We are helpless. We are sinners. You sent us the spring which will make us clean but we are not aware of it. O our Lord, You said "Who recites the Bismillah is My servant. I am his guarantor for everything. He won't suffer from hunger or any other trouble. Dunya is not a world to consider when you have a life in My Presence, when man receives the Divine Light of My 'Ubudiyyah, watch it" It has a mirror. Through what can you watch it? Its mirror is Habibullah, we look at him & see. O our Lord, may You forgive us. O Lord, in these oceans we... While there are all these oceans, for us to continue crushing each other is a meaningless, mindless, mannerless life. We should learn adab/good manners. last, only adab, only adab..." We should learn adab. We should learn, teach the Bismillah. This world is nothing. In dunya it is only a second, a moment of life. Take the adab for the eternal life from Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Wa min Allah at-tawfiq. May You grant us repentance. O our Lord, may You dress us from the miracle of the Bismillah. We don't ask for this dunya life O Lord, You know. Can a believer look at dunya when there is all this magnificence? Can a person who has love, who has adab, who is aware of his servanthood ever look at this world? What is dunya? It is WC. When he ate the forbidden fruit which he was told to not eat he started running here there.. Because his stomach started running & he had the need to excrete. He was told "Here that excretion can't happen. I may send you to the WC of dunya". He (swt) said to the angels "Send Adam. Send him down & he can excrete downstairs". So he went down to the WC. This world is WC & who loves it is a foolish one! He is a person who has no taste, he is an animal. Shaytan pulls people here there..He ridiculed people inside the WC. Know what this world really is! Dunya is- When Prophet Adam ate the forbidden fruit he had the need to excrete. He (swt) said "No! Here is not a place to excrete! If you want WC, go to dunya. Send Adam down to dunya!" People have become such that they don't speak of such things, nor do they know or hear these things. And they claim to be scholars. Leave being scholars, look to servanthood. Leave being arrogant, look to having adab. O Rabbul Izzati wal 'Azamati wal Jabarut, for the honour of Your Beloved dress on us the majesty dress of the Bismillah- Dress on us the dress of health, the dress of faith, the dress of pleasure, the dress of happiness, the dress of honour, the dress of strength, that we know our servanthood for You. Dress on us the dress of knowledge. O Lord of the Bait al-'Atiq (Kaaba), zid baitaka hadha..izzan wa sharafa, nuran wa surura, ridwanan wa sultana. All these are dressed on the believers & all of them have the Bismillah on them. They don't dress people with anything without the Bismillah. O our Lord, may Your beautiful servants come who will teach us the virtues of the Bismillah. You taught Your Beloved & may what Your Beloved taught come to us. May our lives be ready for the eternal life. We should know that we don't live for dunya. We should live for Allah. We should go up to the Divine Presence of Allah. Let us work saying "O our Lord, I am Your servant", happiness lies in this. Safety lies in this. The knowledge which tells about heaven & hell is in this- Who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani r- Rahim enters paradise. Who doesn't say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim goes to hell. Allah is the only Sultan. He never likes things which are artificial or official. Governments may be official, but religions cannot. But nowadays Christianity is an official religion. Islam is an official religion. Judaism is official. The other religions we do not accept as being religions. We only accept the ones which belong to Heavens, and after Islam no new religion does. Religions have to be above anything official. The official people must be under the command of religion, not the other way around. Anything official will destroy the sincerity. Official imams, official priests and official rabbis cannot give anything. Do you think that plastic grapes or oranges will give you any taste? That is the main problem and it is waiting for a solution. Religious decisions and authority cannot be left in the hands of people who come here to the university to make their doctor degrees. These people are too big to even be able to enter the doors of synagogues, churches or mosques. They have got so many official artificial hormones that they can hardly move because they need such big places. They are growing in such an ugly way: they are getting fat, their backs are looking very strange, their heads are getting smaller, their stomach bigger. Their mind is getting smaller, they cannot think about anything but themselves.

People are running from here to there asking their Lord for something. They must realise that they cannot take any benefit from someone who is official. Anything official kills the sincerity. When people lose the sincere people within religions, they will start running after the official ones who cannot make them content and reach peace. A hundred years ago these same words were spoken and people started crying. That is how affected they were. Nowadays people escape. They do not want to hear it. In the 19th century words from religious people still had an impact. What happened? People of the 19th century were still sincere. When something comes from the heart it will go to the heart. If it comes from your lips it will go nowhere. It is our sincere belief that when we ask sincerely, He will send. But people now are accustomed to plastic flowers in their homes which is why the gardener doesn't bother to plant any roses or any other flowers. People only want appearances. If you try to smell them, it is like thorns touching your nose. For millions and billions of years angels have been glorifying their Lord. He created everything for Muhammad*. He created mankind for him. He ordered the angels to be residents of Heavens and to give their glory to him. Adam was created for him and was given his divine lights. All this because Muhammad* is the first and the last creation in the Divine Presence to be mentioned as His servant and His prophet. He is the main treasure. Every creature takes his grant from what he was given. Oh people, servants of the Lord of Heavens! He has endless armies of every kind. Our humble glory be to Him. Everyone is glorifying the Lord. He is the only One Who is glorified. He has endless, countless glory oceans. Whatever you try to give Him, even if every creature on earth and in Heavens would gather, it would only be like a needle in an endless ocean, compared to His endless ocean. Mankind has been honoured in such a great way. They must give their obedience to their Lord and they must do it through him, Muhammad*, who has been glorified. He is the most Glorified One. That is real contentment which can take away every kind of sadness from our heart. It illuminates our hearts in a way that darkness cannot enter. The disease of the century is that the hearts of people are depressed. It is a result of darkness within the hearts of people. When the light is extinguished in the heart, it will be dark and people will be hopeless, full of fear and depressed.

Only glorifying your Lord can take the darkness away from your heart. It will dress you with lights in your heart. If you do not feel like it in your home, then run to the countryside or to deserts or jungles, to silent places. Glorify Him and you will see that the depression will leave you quickly. It will run away from you and ask for help to be saved from you! That is the cure for depression. You may be a Christian, a Jew or a Muslim, you can glorify with any of the Holy Words which are in the Holy Books. You will find a cure quickly and will enjoy being alive. Sadness will escape. Nothing can disturb you. You will be protected by the lights of glorification. Oh people, don't waste your precious time with useless actions. Try to have something which will give you honour, glory, satisfaction and contentment here and hereafter. That is if you like! If you don't care, every curse will run on you, you will suffer. Protect your heart by glorifying. If you do not take care of that, so many devils will run to you and disturb you. Everyone of them speaks in another way and will put a new sword through your heart. They will disturb you in every way and only escape by you glorifying. Don't forget! If anyone would hear the beautiful sounds of the angels who are glorifying the Lord in the Seven Heavens, they would fall down dead. That is how beautiful it is. May Allah let us hear. When Mehdi comes our ears will be clean. Now we have too much dirt locking our ears from hearing the sounds of the angels glorifying the Lord in Heaven. Try to clean them from early morning until late at night. But instead people put more and more dirt into their ears by listening to modern music making them unable to hear. At the time of dawn some people can have the chance in the Night of Power to hear just one second of that Divine sound. It is a good advice
for everyone to pray every morning before Fajr, "Subhana Rabbi-l wal hamdi, subhan alathi wa'staghir'ullah..."
When you start doing such a glorification sincerely, you will not want to stop. Do this 100 times between sunna and fard
prayers in the morning. It will give you support. Your soul will be happy and light. If any wants the Doors of Paradise to be opened for them, they should say, "Al hamdulillah". If they want the doors of hell to be closed for them, they may say, "Astarhfir'ullah". 01.01.1996

Illusions
"Ninety-nine may be illusions, but one may be a real oasis for you because the Lord Almighty says, 'Don't cut off your hope; don't despair'." You don't have forty hands to go everywhere to take forty Shaykhs' hands. Therefore, if you are traveling on a spiritual journey, when you meet with your guide or with your destination, I think it is enough for you at that time to be in one place. However, if you are doing it as a pleasure for your ego, you may travel from East to West, looking at this or that. Sometimes I go to the market, looking at one thing or another and then another, from beginning to end. If you are buyers, you must look for what you want. You must know that you want that thing and you must see where it may be. If you find it, you may buy it and go on because no one can take the whole market and carry it, or all the markets. Rather, everyone who goes shopping knows what he is going to buy. Thus your Shaykh sent you here, understanding that you were asking for something. If you can find it with someone, names are not important, but it is important that you are able to find your desire in him. If you can find the thing you want with a young person, it is all right. Anyone you can find it with, it is all right. Your Lord of the Heavens may put our purposes with anyone. You must not be cheated by someone's outward appearance, passing him by, saying, "Who is that person? What thing can be with that one?" While there may be with him that of

which you are in need. We are most in need of wisdom. Knowledge is one thing, but wisdom is something else. Knowledge you may find everywhere. Wisdom is also written, written in books, but when it is written down, it also becomes a part of knowledge. Wisdom comes directly from the tongue, from hearts. When it is put as writing in books, it becomes knowledge. You may use that, but more important is wisdom. The Lord may place something of His endless wisdom with anyone. It may be a peasant, or a boy, or a woman, or an old man. It may be with a young man, with a black man. It may be with an ignorant one, as you might say. He may not have been educated in schools or universities, but he may have been given wisdom. We have a saying that treasures are mostly under ruins. No one comes and asks for treasures among huge buildings in the center of a city, no. The one who wants to find treasures looks where there are old ruins. From the outside no one could say there may be something there, but underground, among ruins, you may find them. And that person is pleased if he can find broken cups or other broken things. He says even though they are broken, still they are antiques, they are precious, and he takes them, not taking such an unbroken, new thing. If you say, "Do you prefer this or that'?" he may say, "No, this. I prefer it though it is broken. I don't prefer to have this new and whole cup." Therefore, Divine wisdom makes wisdom to be found with anyone. Don't suppose that it must be with people who look suitable from the outside. No. The doors of Islam are open from the East to the West. We can look anywhere. If we find that wisdom, we may take it from anyone. No need to be a special person, no. Anyone may have it. The Lord may give it to you. However, we must be humble enough to listen to anyone and to look at what his product is, what is he selling. We may take from anyone when we are humble enough. God Almighty gives His wisdom and He speaks wisdom. You have knowledge. You have so much knowledge. Everyone who comes to me has it - learned people, perhaps scholars, because most Western people are educated. But, as we said, wisdom is something else. We must be humble. We must look among ruins to dig it out. Yes. You are traveling, seeking wisdom, and you may find it anywhere. It is all right. Knowledge is like a plane and wisdom is its fuel. Without fuel planes can't fly. Thus, there are so many scholars, but they are still waiting for fuel. They are so proud of their wings that sometimes they go around like this, like that, on the plane but not flying. knowledge to be found is what we read in books. We call this products of the mind. These products grow bigger and bigger. It becomes a load, a heavy load for our heads to bear because we have to carry it around with us. Knowledge from the heart differs from this. Products of the heart carry us. We have to carry mind-products, but heart-products carry us. Anything they may be in need, we are supporting them also. Because we are not buying these three big places for dunya. No, never. is not a door like you or I can comprehend. The Prophet (sas) stopped there because of its magnificence. He asked Jibril "What is there beyond this door?" "You know O King of Prophecy, O Beloved of Allah. The whole creation is created because of you, O Glorious Prophet! Its key is with you. Its key is with you". From above the Prophet was told: "Say O My Beloved, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim". He (swt) didn't allow Jibril to say it, the Lord Himself told him. "Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim O My Beloved so the door opens" & it opened. It is such a magnificent realm, that no one knows about it. No one has seen it before & no one ever will either. It is such a magnificent realm. Allah Allah.. The door opened, it is such a realm that it has no equal among the ones that they saw before. It is such a magnificent realm that there is no equal or no match for it. 4 rivers run in it, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, 4 rivers run. 4 rivers, when the Prophet (sas) looked he saw that these 4 rivers with the Ism al-Jalal (Allah), arRahman, arRahim become Bismillahi r- Rahmani r-Rahim. Through each one of these "mim"s, a river runs through each one of them. This river is the pure water which is the ma' ul-hayat (water of life). And also there is the river which is of pure honey and also there is the river which is of pure milk & also there is the river of.. There is nothing that we can understand about it other than its name- wine. Wine that is the wine of al-Kawthar. It runs like this. When he looked, he saw Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. When he looked at it, Allah (swt) said "It is for your nations, O Glorious Prophet! Whosever says this, yas'ad- there is eternal happiness for him. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. He drinks from those rivers- he finds eternal life & drinks from those rivers: Pure water, pure honey, pure milk & pure what goes by the name "wine". Nothing has the magnificence it has. This illustration & expression of ours is zero below zero! Allahu Akbar. Ya Rabbi, may You dress on us from the barakah of Bismillahi r-Rahmani r- Rahim. May our troubles leave us. May we be granted the haqq al-hayat, the eternal life. He (swt) says "Recite the Bismillah. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. "Bismi Rabbika Alladhi Khalaqa. Khalaqa Al-'Insana Min `Alaqin" (96:1-2) Subhan Allah. He (swt) says "Read! In the Name of your Lord, O Beloved". Each time he says this, he is dressed with..What we mentioned is only 4 but in reality Allah Almighty dresses a dress each time one says the Bismillah & it is beyond our mental capacity.. How can one truly comprehend it.. The whole universe cannot comprehend, cannot understand even a speck of it. Allahu Akbar! You are Subhan O Lord. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. last, only adab, only adab..." We should learn adab. We should learn, teach the Bismillah. This world is nothing. In dunya it is only a second, a moment of life. Take the adab for the eternal life from Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Wa min Allah at-tawfiq. May You grant us repentance. O our Lord, may You dress us from the miracle of the Bismillah. We don't ask for this dunya life O Lord, You know. Can a believer look at dunya when there is all this magnificence? Can a person who has love, who has adab, who is aware of his servanthood ever look at this world? What is dunya? It is WC. When he ate the forbidden fruit which he was told to not eat he started running here there.. Because his stomach started running & he had the need to excrete. He was told "Here that excretion can't happen. I may send you to the WC of dunya". He (swt) said to the angels "Send Adam. Send him down & he can excrete downstairs". So he went down to the WC. This world is WC & who loves it is a foolish one! He is a person who has no taste, he is an animal. Shaytan pulls people here there..He ridiculed people inside the WC. Know what this world really is! Dunya is- When Prophet Adam ate the forbidden fruit he had the need to excrete. He (swt) said "No! Here is not a place to excrete! If you want WC, go to dunya. Send Adam down to dunya!" People have become such that they don't speak of such things, nor do they know or hear these things. And they claim to be scholars. Leave being scholars, look to servanthood. Leave being arrogant, look to having adab. O Rabbul Izzati wal 'Azamati wal Jabarut, for the honour of Your Beloved dress on us the majesty dress of the Bismillah- Dress on us the dress of health, the dress of faith, the dress of pleasure, the dress of happiness, the dress of honour, the dress of strength, that we know our servanthood for You. Dress on us the dress of knowledge. O Lord of the Bait al-'Atiq (Kaaba), zid baitaka hadha..izzan wa sharafa, nuran wa surura, ridwanan wa sultana. All these are dressed on the believers & all of them have the Bismillah on them. They don't dress people with anything without the Bismillah. O our Lord, may Your beautiful servants come who will teach us the virtues of the Bismillah. You taught Your Beloved & may what Your Beloved taught come to us. May our lives be ready for the eternal life. We should know that we don't live for dunya. We should live for Allah. We should go up to the Divine Presence of Allah. Allah is the only Sultan. He never likes things which are artificial or official. Governments may be official, but religions cannot. But nowadays Christianity is an official religion. Islam is an official religion. Judaism is official. The other religions we do not accept as being religions. We only accept the ones which belong to Heavens, and after Islam no new religion does. Religions have to be above anything official. The official people must be under the command of religion, not the other way around. Anything official will destroy the sincerity. Official imams, official priests and official rabbis cannot give anything. Do you think that plastic grapes or oranges will give you any taste? That is the main problem and it is waiting for a solution. Religious decisions and authority cannot be left in the hands of people who come here to the university to make their doctor degrees. These people are too big to even be able to enter the doors of synagogues, churches or mosques. They have got so many official artificial hormones that they can hardly move because they need such big places. They are growing in such an ugly way: they are getting fat, their backs are looking very strange, their heads are getting smaller, their stomach bigger. Their mind is getting smaller, they cannot think about anything but themselves.

People are running from here to there asking their Lord for something. They must realise that they cannot take any benefit from someone who is official. Anything official kills the sincerity. When people lose the sincere people within religions, they will start running after the official ones who cannot make them content and reach peace. A hundred years ago these same words were spoken and people started crying. That is how affected they were. Nowadays people escape. They do not want to hear it. In the 19th century words from religious people still had an impact. What happened? People of the 19th century were still sincere. When something comes from the heart it will go to the heart. If it comes from your lips it will go nowhere. It is our sincere belief that when we ask sincerely, He will send. But people now are accustomed to plastic flowers in their homes which is why the gardener doesn't bother to plant any roses or any other flowers. People only want appearances. If you try to smell them, it is like thorns touching your nose. For millions and billions of years angels have been glorifying their Lord. He created everything for Muhammad*. He created mankind for him. He ordered the angels to be residents of Heavens and to give their glory to him. Adam was created for him and was given his divine lights. All this because Muhammad* is the first and the last creation in the Divine Presence to be mentioned as His servant and His prophet. He is the main treasure. Every creature takes his grant from what he was given. Oh people, servants of the Lord of Heavens! He has endless armies of every kind. Our humble glory be to Him. Everyone is glorifying the Lord. He is the only One Who is glorified. He has endless, countless glory oceans. Whatever you try to give Him, even if every creature on earth and in Heavens would gather, it would only be like a needle in an endless ocean, compared to His endless ocean. Mankind has been honoured in such a great way. They must give their obedience to their Lord and they must do it through him, Muhammad*, who has been glorified. He is the most Glorified One. That is real contentment which can take away every kind of sadness from our heart. It illuminates our hearts in a way that darkness cannot enter. The disease of the century is that the hearts of people are depressed. It is a result of darkness within the hearts of people. When the light is extinguished in the heart, it will be dark and people will be hopeless, full of fear and depressed.

Only glorifying your Lord can take the darkness away from your heart. It will dress you with lights in your heart. If you do not feel like it in your home, then run to the countryside or to deserts or jungles, to silent places. Glorify Him and you will see that the depression will leave you quickly. It will run away from you and ask for help to be saved from you! That is the cure for depression. You may be a Christian, a Jew or a Muslim, you can glorify with any of the Holy Words which are in the Holy Books. You will find a cure quickly and will enjoy being alive. Sadness will escape. Nothing can disturb you. You will be protected by the lights of glorification. Oh people, don't waste your precious time with useless actions. Try to have something which will give you honour, glory, satisfaction and contentment here and hereafter. That is if you like! If you don't care, every curse will run on you, you will suffer. Protect your heart by glorifying. If you do not take care of that, so many devils will run to you and disturb you. Everyone of them speaks in another way and will put a new sword through your heart. They will disturb you in every way and only escape by you glorifying. Don't forget! If anyone would hear the beautiful sounds of the angels who are glorifying the Lord in the Seven Heavens, they would fall down dead. That is how beautiful it is. May Allah let us hear. When Mehdi comes our ears will be clean. Now we have too much dirt locking our ears from hearing the sounds of the angels glorifying the Lord in Heaven. Try to clean them from early morning until late at night. But instead people put more and more dirt into their ears by listening to modern music making them unable to hear. At the time of dawn some people can have the chance in the Night of Power to hear just one second of that Divine sound. It is a good advice
for everyone to pray every morning before Fajr, "Subhana Rabbi-l wal hamdi, subhan alathi wa'staghir'ullah..."
When you start doing such a glorification sincerely, you will not want to stop. Do this 100 times between sunna and fard
prayers in the morning. It will give you support. Your soul will be happy and light. If any wants the Doors of Paradise to be opened for them, they should say, "Al hamdulillah". If they want the doors of hell to be closed for them, they may say, "Astarhfir'ullah". 01.01.1996

"Ninety-nine may be illusions, but one may be a real oasis for you because the Lord Almighty says, 'Don't cut off your hope; don't despair'." You don't have forty hands to go everywhere to take forty Shaykhs' hands. Therefore, if you are traveling on a spiritual journey, when you meet with your guide or with your destination, I think it is enough for you at that time to be in one place. However, if you are doing it as a pleasure for your ego, you may travel from East to West, looking at this or that. Sometimes I go to the market, looking at one thing or another and then another, from beginning to end. If you are buyers, you must look for what you want. You must know that you want that thing and you must see where it may be. If you find it, you may buy it and go on because no one can take the whole market and carry it, or all the markets. Rather, everyone who goes shopping knows what he is going to buy. Thus your Shaykh sent you here, understanding that you were asking for something. If you can find it with someone, names are not important, but it is important that you are able to find your desire in him. If you can find the thing you want with a young person, it is all right. Anyone you can find it with, it is all right. Your Lord of the Heavens may put our purposes with anyone. You must not be cheated by someone's outward appearance, passing him by, saying, "Who is that person? What thing can be with that one?" While there may be with him that of

which you are in need. We are most in need of wisdom. Knowledge is one thing, but wisdom is something else. Knowledge you may find everywhere. Wisdom is also written, written in books, but when it is written down, it also becomes a part of knowledge. Wisdom comes directly from the tongue, from hearts. When it is put as writing in books, it becomes knowledge. You may use that, but more important is wisdom. The Lord may place something of His endless wisdom with anyone. It may be a peasant, or a boy, or a woman, or an old man. It may be with a young man, with a black man. It may be with an ignorant one, as you might say. He may not have been educated in schools or universities, but he may have been given wisdom. We have a saying that treasures are mostly under ruins. No one comes and asks for treasures among huge buildings in the center of a city, no. The one who wants to find treasures looks where there are old ruins. From the outside no one could say there may be something there, but underground, among ruins, you may find them. And that person is pleased if he can find broken cups or other broken things. He says even though they are broken, still they are antiques, they are precious, and he takes them, not taking such an unbroken, new thing. If you say, "Do you prefer this or that'?" he may say, "No, this. I prefer it though it is broken. I don't prefer to have this new and whole cup." Therefore, Divine wisdom makes wisdom to be found with anyone. Don't suppose that it must be with people who look suitable from the outside. No. The doors of Islam are open from the East to the West. We can look anywhere. If we find that wisdom, we may take it from anyone. No need to be a special person, no. Anyone may have it. The Lord may give it to you. However, we must be humble enough to listen to anyone and to look at what his product is, what is he selling. We may take from anyone when we are humble enough. God Almighty gives His wisdom and He speaks wisdom. You have knowledge. You have so much knowledge. Everyone who comes to me has it - learned people, perhaps scholars, because most Western people are educated. But, as we said, wisdom is something else. We must be humble. We must look among ruins to dig it out. Yes. You are traveling, seeking wisdom, and you may find it anywhere. It is all right. Knowledge is like a plane and wisdom is its fuel. Without fuel planes can't fly. Thus, there are so many scholars, but they are still waiting for fuel. They are so proud of their wings that sometimes they go around like this, like that, on the plane but not flying. knowledge to be found is what we read in books. We call this products of the mind. These products grow bigger and bigger. It becomes a load, a heavy load for our heads to bear because we have to carry it around with us. Knowledge from the heart differs from this. Products of the heart carry us. We have to carry mind-products, but heart-products carry us. It was because of this that Abu Yazid Bistami, a famous Grand Shaykh in the most distinguished Naqshbandi order, addressed scholars, saying, "Oh scholars, you carry your knowledge about. You are always looking to see whether that knowledge is becoming less and less, going down. You are always looking because when you put aside the knowledge that you got through books, you then have to carry those books around with you to refresh your minds. You are like horses, putting too heavy a load on yourselves, carrying it around, and you are always tired. But we are not in need of carrying books, to be like a horse bearing so heavy a load. Rather our knowledge carries us. Therefore you are bearing a heavy burden, while our knowledge carries us along." For this reason, all mind-products are a heavy load for scholars.
