THE IMPORTANCE OF HIJRI CALENDAR IN WORSHIP

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
The Hijri new year is approaching insha’Allah. It is the end of this year. In terms of the Hijri calendar, Wednesday will be the beginning of the new year. One year passed. These are the blessed years.
Days, months and years, everything people do is in Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is for them to know the calculations. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says :
لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ
“Lita`lamū `Adada As-Sinīna Wa Al-Ĥisāb”,
“That you may know the number of years and the count [of time].” (Qur’an 10:05). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
For our life in this world, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created these days, months and years in order to measure everything, to evaluate how time is passing. Everything is His جل جلاله creation. Day and night, months and years are things He جل جلاله created.
Allah جل جلاله gave specialty to some things. Their specialty is that there are the times of worship in them. People calculate their times of worship according to these months.They act accordingly. It is done according to the lunar calculation. The Wajib and Fard in the religion of Islam are adjusted according to it.
If you do outside that, there is no benefit. You miss an important thing, you miss the Fard and you strive in vain. If you don’t fast in Ramadan but fast in January, you lose the virtue of the Fard then. And you commit a sin when you don’t fast in Ramadan. If you fast in winter to make it easier, saying the days are shorter, you commit a sin. It is same with the matter of Hajj. It is done according to the lunar Hijri calendar. It is once a year on a single day. When you miss that day, your Hajj is invalid.
These days are appointed by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The Mawlid of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is on the 12th of Rabi ul-Awwal. When you celebrate it on the 20th of April, it has no benefit. Of course you should honor our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam every day. However, if you, according to your own mind, don’t celebrate on the 12th of Rabi ul-Awwal but celebrate it on the 20th of April, then you make Bid’ah and lose its virtue.
There are many things that we should calculate and not miss in terms of worship in this year, the Hijri year. Therefore, we should not be deceived by shaytan. Many people don’t even know when the Hijri year starts. When do they know? Never. Many people don’t know. But everyone gets prepared for the other new year thinking, “We should do this and that. We should commit a sin and do all kinds of things”. Shukr to Allah جل جلاله, there is not such a thing in the Hijri new year.
The Hijri new year is the year given by Allah جل جلاله as a gift to Muslims. Therefore, they must calculate things to be done according to it; if they can go to Hajj this year, when Ramadan is, when the Day of A’shura is. Everything has a different virtue. Missing them is a loss for people.
May Allah جل جلاله give us years with goodness insha’Allah. May they be of Barakah insha’Allah.

أهمية التقويم الهجري في العبادة (15-7-2023)

السنة الهجرية الجديدة تقترب إن شاء الله. إنها نهاية هذه السنة. من حيث التقويم الهجري، سيكون الأربعاء هو بداية السنة الجديدة. مرّت سنة. هذه هي السنوات المباركة.

أيام، أشهر وسنوات، كل ما يفعله الناس في يد الله عز وجل. عليهم أن يعرفوا الحساب. يقول الله عز وجل "لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ". صدق الله العظيم. من أجل حياتنا في هذه الدنيا، خلق الله عز وجل هذه الأيام، الشهور والسنوات من أجل قياس كل شيء، لتقييم كيف يمر الوقت. كل شيء هو خلقه ﷻ. النهار والليل، الشهور والسنوات أشياء خلقها ﷻ.

خصص الله ﷻ بعض الأشياء. تخصيصها أن هناك أوقات عبادة فيها. يحسب الناس أوقات عبادتهم وفقًا لهذه الأشهر. يتصرّفون وفقا لذلك. يتم ذلك وفقًا لحساب القمر. يتم تحديد الواجب والفرض في دين الإسلام وفقًا لذلك.

إذا تصرّفت خارج ذلك، فلا فائدة. تفتقد شيئًا مهمًا، تفقد الفرض وتسعى بلا جدوى. إذا لم تصم في رمضان ولكنك صمت في كانون الثاني، فإنك تفقد فضيلة الفرض حينها. وترتكب معصية عندما تفطر في رمضان. إذا صمت في الشتاء لتيسير الأمر بقولك أن الأيام أقصر، فأنت ترتكب معصية. الأمر نفسه ينطبق على الحج. يتم ذلك وفقًا للتقويم الهجري القمري. إنه مرة في السنة في يوم واحد. عندما يفوتك ذلك اليوم، يكون حجّك باطلاً.

هذه الأيام يُعيّنها الله عز وجل. يُقام مولد نبينا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم في الثاني عشر من ربيع الأول. عندما تحتفل به في العشرين من نيسان، فلا فائدة من ذلك. بالطبع يجب أن تُعظّم نبينا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم كل يوم. ومع ذلك، إذا كنت، حسب رأيك، لا تحتفل في الثاني عشر من ربيع الأول ولكن تحتفل به في العشرين من نيسان، فإنك ترتكب بدعة وتفقد فضلها.

هناك أمور كثيرة يجب أن نحسبها ولا نفوّتها من حيث العبادة في هذه السنة، السنة الهجرية. لذلك يجب أن لا ننخدع بالشيطان. كثير من الناس لا يعرفون حتى متى تبدأ السنة الهجرية. متى يعرفون؟ أبداً. الكثير من الناس لا يعرفون. لكن الجميع يستعد للسنة الجديدة الأخرى قائلين "يجب أن نفعل هذا وذاك. يجب أن نرتكب معصية ونفعل كل شيء". شكراً لله ﷻ لا يوجد شيء من هذا القبيل في السنة الهجرية الجديدة.

السنة الهجرية هي السنة التي أهداها الله ﷻ للمسلمين. لذلك، يجب أن يحسبوا الأشياء التي يجب القيام بها وفقًا لذلك؛ إذا كان بإمكانهم الذهاب إلى الحج هذه السنة، متى يبدأ رمضان، متى يوم عاشوراء. كل شيء له فضيلة مختلفة. عدم تأديتها خسارة للناس. الله ﷻ يرزقنا سنين بالخير إن شاء الله. نرجو أن يكونوا بركة إن شاء الله.
