GIVING SADAQAH SECRETLY IS BETTER

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِى ٱلسَّرَّآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ
“Al-Ladhīna Yunfiqūna Fī As-Sarrā’i Wa đ-Đarrā’i”,
“Who spend (freely) [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship.” (Qur’an 03:134). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is praising those who give Sadaqah both secretly and openly and who perform worship. When giving Sadaqah, it is better to give it secretly, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It can be given openly as well. But it is better to give secretly. It is better in terms of humanity. In order for a needy person not to feel embarrassed, it is better to give it secretly.
It is better for the one who gives as well not to be proud. What they do must be for the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله. He must neither show it off, nor expect anything. The given Sadaqah and given charity are for the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله. No need to expect even gratitude for it.
If they thank you, they do. If not - Some people say, “We gave to them but they didn’t thank us”. You gave for the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله, so you must expect it from Allah جل جلاله . You must expect the reward and Thawab from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. But if you gave in order to be thanked, it is worthless then. The actual reward from the presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is important. If all people thank you, it has no benefit. The beneficial is when Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is pleased with you and is happy with the deeds you do. What’s important for us is the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله and satisfaction of Allah جل جلاله with us.
People of the present time want to do, even little things, for personal benefit. When they do something, they remind people of this favor; “I did this, I did that.” Whereas it is said in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan,
لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
“Lā Nurīdu Minkum Jazā’an Wa Lā Shukūrāa”,
“We wish not from you reward or thanks.” (Qur’ān 76:09).
“We don’t expect anything in return, not even gratitude. We did it for the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله”. Paradise is promised to them. Beautiful paradise is promised to them. That is much better than this whole world.
What is gratitude? It is nothing. Allah جل جلاله is teaching us goodness and beautiful manners. May He جل جلاله make us successful in following that way. May we not obey our egos. People nowadays have made up new things; impoliteness and this and that. They want to show what they do, “We did this. We did that”. If you do it for showing off, it has no value then. Nevertheless, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will reward you like giving one instead of a thousand.
May Allah جل جلاله help people insha’Allah. May they come to their senses.

التصدّق سراً أفضل (8-7-2023)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ
صدق الله العظيم. إن الله عز وجل يُثني على من يتصدّق في السر والعلن ويؤدّي العبادة. عند إعطاء الصدقة، من الأفضل أن تُعطي في السر، يقول الله عز وجل. يمكن أن تُعطي علانية كذلك. لكن من الأفضل أن تُعطي سرا. إنه أفضل من الناحية الإنسانية. لكي لا يشعر المُحتاج بالحرج فمن الأفضل إعطائه سراً.

أفضل لمن يُعطي كذلك لكي لا يفتخر. ما يفعلونه يجب أن يكون لمرضاة الله ﷻ. يجب ألا يتباهى بالعطاء، ولا يتوقع أي شيء. الإحسان والصدقة الممنوحة هي لمرضاة الله ﷻ. لا داعي لتوقّع حتى الشكر عليها.

إذا شكروك، يكونون قد فعلوا ذلك. إذا لم يفعلوا - يقول بعض الناس "لقد أعطيناهم لكنهم لم يشكرونا". أعطيت لمرضاة الله ﷻ، لذلك يجب أن تتوقع ذلك من الله ﷻ. يجب أن تتوقع الأجر والثواب من الله عز وجل. ولكن إذا أعطيت من أجل أن تُشكر، فهذا لا قيمة له. الأجر الفعلي من حضرة الله عز وجل هو المهم. إذا شكرك كل الناس، فلا فائدة من ذلك. المفيد هو أن يرضى الله ﷻ عنك ويسعد بأعمالك التي قمت بها. المهم بالنسبة لنا رضا الله ﷻ عنا.

الناس في الوقت الحاضر يريدون أن يفعلوا، حتى الأشياء الصغيرة، من أجل المنفعة الشخصية. عندما يفعلون شيئًا ما، فإنهم يذكّرون الناس بهذه الخدمة "لقد فعلت هذا، لقد فعلت ذلك". حيث يقول ﷻ في القرآن عظيم الشأن "لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا". "لا نتوقع أي شيء في المقابل، ولا حتى الشكر. لقد فعلنا ذلك لمرضاة الله ﷻ". موعدهم الجنة. موعودون بجنة جميلة. حيث أنها أفضل بكثير من هذه الدنيا كلها.

ما هو الشكر؟ إنه لا شيء. الله ﷻ يُعلّمنا الخير والأدب. الله ﷻ يُوفّقنا في إتّباع هذا الطريق. نرجو ألا نُطيع نفوسنا. لقد إخترع الناس هذه الأيام أشياء جديدة، وقاحة وهذا وذاك. يريدون إظهار ما يفعلونه "لقد فعلنا هذا. لقد فعلنا ذلك". إذا فعلت ذلك من أجل التباهي، فلا قيمة له. ومع ذلك فإن الله عز وجل سيُعطيك حسنة واحدة بدلاً من ألف. الله ﷻ يُعين الناس إن شاء الله. نرجو أن يعودوا إلى رشدهم. ومن الله التوفيق . الفاتحة .

التصدّق سراً أفضل (8-7-2023)

الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ
