PRAYER IS THE HEAD OF EVERYTHING

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Yesterday we read from the blessed Hadiths of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Hadiths about ablution and prayer. What our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم told us and the biggest gift from Allah جل جلاله that Muslims must do is prayer.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Whoever goes to the mosque to pray in congregation will be forgiven a sin for every step with his left foot and written Thawab for every step with his right foot.” It is so for every step no matter near or far. The more steps are made, the more Thawab is given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And then our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “If they know how rewarding it is to pray Isha’ and Fajr prayer in Jama’ah, people will not only go by walking, they will even crawl”. There is so much virtue and Thawab in them.
Prayer is the pillar of religion. Without prayer, there is no religion. The religion is not complete. Some people say “I make Tasbihat and all”. Even if you make Tasbihat throughout your whole life, it is not as valuable as one prayer. It doesn’t have the same value as a Fard prayer. That is why you must pay attention to prayer.
Prayer is the door to every goodness; goodness in this world and goodness in Akhirah. The Dua of people who don’t pray is not accepted. Their work doesn’t go well. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say even if Awliya make Dua, Dua made for someone who doesn’t pray is not accepted. So along with making Dua, we must pray. He used to say “Don’t pass a day without prayer”. The more you do, the more benefit there is. They say “We can’t do it”. They should do little by little until they get used to it. Little or many, the benefit comes to people only that way.
The whole world is in distress now. The key to removing those troubles is prayer. They must certainly pray. And they will make up what they have missed later insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله not leave us in the hands of shaytan. May He جل جلاله not leave us in the hands our egos.
The shaytan and ego make people so lazy that they run after other things. And they show praying as very difficult even though it is not that difficult. They show it as if it is impossible to do. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t order something that people cannot do. Prayer is the food of the soul. It is the head of everything. Therefore, may Allah جل جلاله accept our prayers.
May Allah جل جلاله let everyone taste , have this taste of worship insha’Allah.

الصلاة أساس كل شيء (15-3-2023)

بالأمس قرأنا من الأحاديث الشريفة لنبينا الكريم ﷺ. أحاديث عن الوضوء والصلاة. ما أخبرنا به نبينا الكريم ﷺ وأكبر هدية من الله ﷻ أنه يجب على المسلمين تأدية الصلاة.

نبينا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول "إذا توضأَ أحدُكم فأحسنَ الوُضوءَ، ثمَّ خرجَ إلى المسجدِ لا ينزِعُهُ إلا الصلاةُ، لمْ تزلْ رجلُه اليسرى تمحو عنهُ سيئةً، وتكتبُ له اليمنى حسنةً". الأمر كذلك لكل خطوة بغضّ النظر عن قرب أو بعد المسجد. كلما زاد عدد الخطوات، كلما زاد الثواب من الله عز وجل. ثم يقول نبينا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم "ولو يعلمُ الناسُ ما في العَتَمَةِ والصبحِ لأتوهما ولو حبْوًا". هناك الكثير من الفضيلة والثواب في ذلك.

الصلاة ركن من أركان الدين. بدون صلاة لا يوجد دين. الدين لا يكتمل. بعض الناس يقولون "أنا أقوم بالتسبيح وكل شيء". حتى لو قمت بالتسبيح طوال حياتك، فهي ليست بنفس قيمة صلاة واحدة. ليس لها نفس قيمة صلاة الفرض. لذلك يجب الإنتباه إلى الصلاة.

الصلاة هي باب كل خير، الخير في هذه الدنيا والخير في الآخرة. دعاء من لا يُصلّي لا يُقبل. عملهم لا يسير على ما يرام. كان مولانا الشيخ ناظم يقول حتى لو قام الأولياء بالدعاء، فإن الدعاء الذي يكون لمن لا يُصلّي لا يُقبل. إلى جانب الدعاء، يجب أن نُصلّي. اعتاد أن يقول "لا تجعل يوماً يمرّ بدون صلاة". كلما أكثرت، كلما زادت الفائدة. يقولون "لا يمكننا فعل ذلك". يجب أن يفعلوا شيئًا فشيئًا حتى يعتادوا على ذلك. قليل أو كثير، تأتي الفائدة للناس بهذه الطريقة فقط.

العالم كله في ضيق الآن. مفتاح إزالة تلك المشاكل هو الصلاة. يجب عليهم تأدية الصلاة بالتأكيد. وسيقضون ما فاتهم فيما بعد إن شاء الله. الله ﷻ لا يتركنا بين يدي الشيطان. الله ﷻ لا يتركنا في أيدي نفوسنا.

الشيطان والنفس يجعلان الناس كسالى لدرجة أنهم يركضون وراء أشياء أخرى. ويُظهرون الصلاة على أنها صعبة للغاية رغم أنها ليست بهذه الصعوبة. يُظهرون الأمر كما لو كان من المستحيل القيام به. الله عز وجل لا يأمر بشيء لا يستطيع الناس فعله. الصلاة غذاء الروح. إنها أساس كل شيء. لذلك، الله ﷻ يتقبّل صلاتنا. الله ﷻ يجعل الجميع يتذوّقون طعم العبادة هذه إن شاء الله. ومن الله التوفيق . الفاتحة .

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Whoever goes to the mosque to pray in congregation will be forgiven a sin for every step with his left foot and written Thawab for every step with his right foot.” It is so for every step no matter near or far. The more steps are made, the more Thawab is given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And then our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “If they know how rewarding it is to pray Isha’ and Fajr prayer in Jama’ah, people will not only go by walking, they will even crawl”. There is so much virtue and Thawab in them.

Even if you make Tasbihat throughout your whole life, it is not as valuable as one prayer. It doesn’t have the same value as a Fard prayer. That is why you must pay attention to prayer.

العالم كله في ضيق الآن. مفتاح إزالة تلك المشاكل هو الصلاة. يجب عليهم تأدية الصلاة بالتأكيد. وسيقضون ما فاتهم فيما بعد إن شاء الله. الله ﷻ لا يتركنا بين يدي الشيطان. الله ﷻ لا يتركنا في أيدي نفوسنا.
