nts.
For people with Iman, it is easy. They say there is oppression against Muslims in this world. It is for everyone. But of course, there is more oppression for Muslims. Those who have Iman, their sufferings don’t go in vain. Those who object and rebel have hardship in their works, because they suffer in vain. Those who believe in Allah جل جلاله and say that it comes from Allah جل جلاله, Allah جل جلاله will reward them.
There are many people who talk nonsense and say, “We are this and that. Why is this happening?” To say so is contrary to Adab. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives you everything. And it is as if you say, “Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, why do You do so?” Therefore, you should be careful about that. You should seek refuge in Allah جل جلاله when something happens. You should seek refuge in Allah جل جلاله when there is difficulty so that He جل جلاله makes it easy.
“ويَجْعَلُ الصَعْبَ يَسيرًا”
- Allah جل جلاله is the one who makes the difficult easy.
Sometimes people care too much about some things and think about what to do and how. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla makes everything and difficult things easy. People get amazed by how others can do something. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla lets them do it, because He جل جلاله makes it easy for them.
Therefore, no matter how difficult it is, no matter how difficult the time we are living in is, think of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla immediately and always be with Allah جل جلاله. He جل جلاله will make it easy. Allah جل جلاله is the one who makes every difficult easy. He جل جلاله doesn’t make it difficult. And He جل جلاله will give you your rewards. May Allah جل جلاله help people. May Allah جل جلاله give Iman so that everything is easy.
There are many people who make up Fitnah by saying, “Muslims are suffering so much. Why is Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla not helping them?” We live in Dunya. As we live in a place of tests, there must be a test. It cannot be without tests. We haven’t reached paradise yet. It is the state of Dunya. It is a place of tests. Who passes the test will be raised. Who fails the test will be in suffering, and his deeds will be in vain. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May Allah جل جلاله help us and be with us insha’Allah.
May Allah جل جلاله give us the strength of Iman.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

FOLLOW THE TRUTHFUL ONES

16 August 2022/ 18 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
(Qur’ān 09:119).
‘‘Yā ‘Ayyuhā l-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū t-Taqū l-Llaha Wa Kūnū Ma’a s- Sādiqīn’’
‘’O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful’’, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
This is an important Ayah. Who is the truthful person? It is not the one who mixes up the words of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and the words of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and tells people according to his own mind.
The Sadiq/truthful is the one who speaks straightforward. Siddiq means the one who speaks the truth, the righteous one. This is important.
The time we are living in now is such that everyone does everything as he likes and interprets them to others the way that benefits themselves. They interpret the Qur’an according to their own minds. If you speak about Hadith, they reject the Sahih strong Hadiths which are true Hadiths. They deny the religion and Sunnah of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. They deny the way shown by our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. They make up things according to their own minds.
Ignorant people believe them. Whereas people interpret this way which has been there since the time of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until now, for more than 1,400 years, as if it has appeared later and according to their minds. Many people accept them, whatever the wisdom is. Because they obey their egos. It is easy for their egos. So they accept this. They are showing things that are not in religion as if they are in religion. And they don’t accept the things that are in religion.
Therefore, we must find truthful people and be with them so that our deeds do not go in vain, so that our work is accepted. Otherwise, the others are not accepted. Moreover, you will have committed a sin. While you console yourself by saying that you’re worshipping and following the religion, you will have done things in vain. And you will have committed a sin. Therefore, follow the truthful people. Accept them. Do not accept the others. Stay away from them so that your end is good and your deeds don’t go in vain.
May Allah جل جلاله let us all be with the truthful ones insha’Allah. May we be with them and may we advance on the right way, on the way of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Those who advance on his صلى الله عليه وسلم way will find him صلى الله عليه وسلم insha’Allah, and will unite with him صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Who don’t follow me صلى الله عليه وسلم cannot be with me صلى الله عليه وسلم”.
It is an important thing to meet our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and to be with him صلى الله عليه وسلم. It is the greatest of happiness. May Allah جل جلاله let us have that.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

A TRAP IN THE LAST BREATH

15 August 2022/ 17 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
When a person reaches the end of his life, may Allah جل جلاله protect us, the shaytan confronts him in his last breath and wants him to pass away without Iman. What he shows as true is false and the false is true. Whatever the shaytan shows leads the person to hell. In order to pass away with Iman in the last breath, one must do goodness and carry out the orders of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in this world. Insha’Allah he will pass away with Iman. In order to pass away with Iman, as we said, he must pray and follow a way, follow a Madhhab for not to be lost or misled.
The trick of shaytan before reaching the last breath is to put a doubt about Islam. He wants to place doubt in people’s hearts and says, “This is good, this is bad, this is not right. Why are you following Madhhab? Why are you following Tariqah?” He wants to push them away from them by saying there isn’t such a thing and to make them dislike them. Who doesn’t like them will fall into the hands of shaytan in his last breath.
Even if someone is not in Tariqah, he must certainly be in a Madhhab, in either of the four Madhhabs. As there is nothing we can follow apart from them. Certainly, there were many Madhhabs. After our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, every Sahabah was considered a Madhhab. But later, they decreased in number. And others are not accepted now, apart from these true four Madhhabs. There is nothing else. You can follow if there is something else, but there isn’t any other Madhhab that is from Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l- Jama’ah.
Now shaytan wants people to leave them, because they are the biggest enemies of shaytan. They are castles that protect people. Madhhabs are castles that protect our Iman. If you say, “I will look up in Qur’an. I will look up in something else. I will do according to my own mind”, you will fall into the hands of shaytan in the last breath. And then you will go to hell. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. The shaytan will say, “Believe in me” with water in his hands. People get very thirsty in their last breaths. The shaytan will say, “If you believe in me, I will give you water”. Certainly, a person who acts according to his own mind will fall into that trap. But a person with a strong castle will certainly pass easily. He will not fall into that trap. May Allah جل جلاله protect us.
This is the state of our world today. Muslims are falling into big traps. They assume they are on the Haqq/right way, whereas they are on the false way. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May Allah جل جلاله protect our Iman.
May we pass away with our Iman in our last breath insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

THE IMPORTANCE OF NEIGHBORS

14 August 2022/ 16 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم advised goodness for neighbors. He صلى الله عليه وسلم brought many orders to treat neighbors well. When people are good neighbors, it is good. They are in comfort then. When they are bad neighbors, sometimes they may lose their place. And because of their neighbors, many people abandoned the places they used to live in as they couldn’t get along. That is not good. What is good is to get along well with neighbors, to love them.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave such rights to neighbors that I thought they will become inheritors.” Neighborship is a good thing. Therefore, being bad with neighbors is not a skill, it is not a good thing. They have their rights, and you have your rights. To respect their rights brings the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله. To carry out the orders of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla brings benefit to people.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam had bad neighbors, and Awliya had bad neighbors. But they all used to be patient. They used to be patient despite their harm. Let alone harm, some people harm their neighbors themselves. And they claim to be Muslim and from Tariqah. To harm neighbors or to not get along with them is not a nice thing. It is not a good thing.
Therefore, just like our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa- sallam was patient, you should be patient too. You should get along well.
May Allah جل جلاله give us good neighbors. Because as we said, sometimes various things happen. Arabs have a saying:
“الْجَار قَبْلَ الدَّارِ”
- check your neighbors before you buy the house. Make an action according to how the neighbors are. If the neighbors are bad, do not even approach that place.
May Allah جل جلاله not give us such neighbors. May we be neighbors to our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in paradise insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

DO THE GOOD IMMEDIATELY

13 August 2022/ 15 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Many states occur as people live. There are states which are good and states which are not good. There are states that you cause and states that occur without your will. If you think about how to differentiate between the good one and the bad; who trust in Allah جل جلاله, the states will be good for them.
When goodness comes to your heart and if you do that good thing immediately, that will bring benefit to you. Because time is not your hands. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave everyone a time. If something good comes to your heart, do it immediately. If you delay it, time will be up. You will either do it or not. And then you will regret and wail by saying, “If only I did it”. No need to wail. You didn’t do it, and it’s over now.
Mind the new chance. Do not miss the new one. If something good comes to your mind, do it. No need to regret and wail about something done. They say “Geçmiş olsun” - may it be over. It is in the past. You cannot turn back that time. You cannot bring back that chance. Therefore, always be alert to do goodness and strive to do good things. They will bring benefit to you.
Things that are done must be appropriate with the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Do not get upset about things you didn’t do that are inappropriate. Be happy for that. Don’t say, “I wanted to do this but I couldn’t. If only I did it”. Say, “It’s good I didn’t do it. Otherwise, I’d make a sin”. Congratulate yourself for that.
“Right when I wanted to do something bad, I couldn’t do it. I didn’t have a chance. I missed the chance”. Be happy for this. We should be happy for the good things we do insha’Allah.
May Allah جل جلاله let us all do good deeds and make us successful in it. May He جل جلاله not let us do things we may regret.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

WHY ARE MUSLIMS NOT TOGETHER?

12 August 2022/ 14 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to be with good people. Be with the truthful, good ones and believers. Those who are with them will be in happiness. Those who are with people on the way of Allah جل جلاله become the means for goodness and beauty. As Allah ‘Azza wa- Jalla wishes goodness to people, He جل جلاله advises sticking together. Stick together, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Do not go to others.
The shaytan orders the opposite. He makes good people enemies to each other and pushes them apart. Most of the time they ask, “Why are people who don’t believe in Allah جل جلاله and don’t love Allah جل جلاله together? And why are Muslims and Mu’mins not together?” People often question why. It is because that’s easy. As shaytan is together with the bad ones, he doesn’t make Waswasa to them. Contrarily, he says, “You are right. You are good” and supports them.
Wherever there is evil all over the world, support comes to them from shaytan. The shaytans support each other from different corners of the world. But when people want to do goodness, thousands of shaytans ride on them and break them up. They strive to remove the goodness. And when it is gone, he rests and says, “They are my people now” and stops making Waswasa. He doesn’t cause arguments between them. Do they have peace? Of course they don’t have peace. Muslims have the peace. Even though there is something between them, there is no Waswasa.
When two good persons come together, certainly it is very probable that there will be Fitnah. Therefore, Muslims are divided. But that is not important. What’s important is not to be together with shaytan but to be with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Nevertheless, our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says, a Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. Even if the ego and shaytan doesn’t want it, we should not listen to them. We should support Muslims and be together with Muslims.
People of the present time listen to neither Muslims, nor brothers, nor anyone for the worldly benefit. They lose everything after the tiniest benefit. May Allah جل جلاله protect us.
We should be careful about that. The state of this world has no benefit for Akhirah. We should work for Akhirah. The stock for Akhirah is [by following] the way of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Walk on that way, and stay away from shaytan.
May Allah جل جلاله protect us.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Yasin, Ayat and Surahs, Tasbihat, Tahlils and Takbirs, Salawat Sharifah. Insha’Allah we dedicate them and all the good deeds and charity made this week firstly to the great soul of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, the souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya and Mashayikh, the souls of all of our late relatives, especially to our Shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, Hajjah Anne, Hala Sultan, the souls of all of our late relatives.
For goodness to come and evil to be gone, for the strength of our Iman.
Li-Llahi Ta’ala l-Fatiha.

EVERY STATE SHALL END

11 August 2022/ 13 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: ُ
كُلُّ حَالٍ يَزُول. سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي لاَ يَحُولُ وَلاَ يَزُولُ
“Kullu Halin Yazul. Subhana l-Ladhi la yahulu wala yazul.”
It is a great word. Every state and everything that happens in this world will finish. Everything has an end. And every person has something to go through in his life. Both the good and the bad will be over. “Yazul” means it will finish and will be over.
Everything we see is a state. There are states that have to occur. They occur and then end. It is so for all mankind and for all creatures. It is the law of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for everything He جل جلاله created. In any case, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is One. He جل جلاله neither changes, nor disappears. His جل جلاله attribute is Al-Baqi, The Everlasting. He جل جلاله is unchanging.
As long as people live in this world, no one can say “I will be this, I will be that” and be as he likes. People can strive as much as they want by saying “I will remain like this. I will live forever”. They are striving in vain.
Everything will be over. Happiness comes to an end. Sadness comes to an end. Diseases come to an end. Life comes to an end. As we said, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the one who doesn’t have an end and whose essence is not affected by anything.
Therefore, as long as we live in this world, we should be content with everything Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives us, not the states of this world. We should think about it in order to be at ease. Don’t get upset about this war or that strike, about drought or oppression. All of them will remain in this world and will be over. They are tests for people. Those who pass the test are not those who are sad and grieve about it, but those who are patient with what comes from Allah جل جلاله. The patient believers and Muslims get their rewards in return.
But shaytan has captured all the world in his hands, as if he is going to save people. He cannot save them. He cannot save anything. Even if there were billions of shaytans, they wouldn’t be able to do anything. Nothing can save from the state given by Allah جل جلاله. Only Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla can save. And whatever Allah جل جلاله wants happens. Nothing happens outside His جل جلاله will. We must know this.
There are people who want to get benefit by putting a blame on this and that one. But they cannot get any benefit. Because they are people too. And that benefit will be gone too. It will be over.
May Allah جل جلاله not separate us from Iman. May Allah جل جلاله give strength of Iman to all of us, only then we will find peace and be at ease.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

ALLAH جل جلاله CREATED US FOR WORSHIP

10 August 2022/ 12 Muharram 1444
Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created everyone diversely. There are some people who are heavy, some are good and some are bad. With the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, He جل جلاله created people differently. And He جل جلاله created all of them in order to carry out the orders of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. One is weak and one is strong. One is good and one is bad. But the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the same for everyone. His جل جلاله order is: “I didn’t create you for eating and drinking, or for having fun in this world.” Allah جل جلاله created people and Jinns for worship. This worship is obligatory for everyone.
Some people say, “I cannot do it”. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has certainly ordered things that people can do. He جل جلاله didn’t order things they cannot do. BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim:
لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
‘’Lā yukallifu Llāhu nafsāan illā wus’ahā’, ‘Allah does not charge a soul except (with that within)its capacity.’’
(Qur’ān 02:286).
It means everyone has the strength and power to perform this worship and carry out the orders of the religion. They can do it easily. But there is shaytan, laziness and the ego. The ego doesn’t want to do it and doesn’t like it. They don’t want us to do it. Therefore, do not listen to them. Do not listen to your ego and shaytan.
Carry out the orders of Allah جل جلاله, as these orders are your debt and duty. If you don’t fulfill your debt here, you will have to do it in Akhirah. People say, “I cannot do it” and so on. How can you be released from this order? When you are not sane. You are not liable then. Not liable are those who are not sane. Sometimes they say, “He’s lost his mind”. Insane, Majzoob and crazy people are not obliged. But sometimes you see they are even better than normal strong people. There are many such crazy and Majzoob people who perform their worship. And who are liable don’t do so.
This is certainly a debt. If people repent and make it up later as Qada’, they cannot get the same reward. Therefore, perform your worship on time without missing it and leaving it as Qada’. You cannot reach the same Thawab by compensating your prayer or fasting. May Allah جل جلاله give us strength.
People must care the most and pay attention to their worship, not to other things. They rush to do other things and make plans, “I have to do this and that”. But when it comes to praying and fasting, they forget. They don’t give it much importance and leave it for Qada’/making up. Those who pray mustn’t leave their prayers for Qada’.
Allah جل جلاله knows how much they are losing. May Allah جل جلاله protect us from the evil of our egos. May Allah جل جلاله make it a means for goodness.
Al-Fatiha.
