e reaching to Paradise, yes. Therefore, it is a terrible responsibility now for a handful of people to say, "We are Salafis, you must follow us;" we are not following you! We are following the Seal of Prophet's Companions, then Taabi`een, and then Taabi` at-Taabi`een. Are you saying al-Qayyim, ibn Taymiyya, and ibn `Abdul-Wahab are not added? You are taking yourselves out from vast majority, the greatness of Muslims and you are shooting at Ahlu 's-Sunnah people. It is not for you; you cannot do this! You must say who is Salafu 's-Saalih, you must give their names! Therefore, we are saying, Hassan al-Basri is a follower of Sahaaba (r). The honor of the Companions is high because they are taking from the first level, who were with the Seal of Prophets (s). Taabi`een (r) is the next generation following Sahaaba (r). Hassan al-Basri was from the Taabi`een, who reached to the Companions of the Seal of Prophets (s). You are accepting Hassan al-Basri as Salafu 's-Saalih, Salafi `ulamas? So many thousands of followers of the Companions in Damascus. Sufyan ath-Thawri (r) was from the Taabi`een; are you accepting him? And those people were destroying tombs? Whom are you following? Hassan al-Basri, thousands, perhaps millions were following him! One day he was going from one side to other side of Dijla (Tigris River) and he met Hassan al-Basri (q), and he was going to pass Dijla and he was waiting on him, and coming Habeebu 'l-`Ajami, min as-saliheen, from the righteous pure ones. He was not of Arab people. If he was not saaliheen his name would not reach up to today and we would not speak of him. Coming to Hassan al-Basri, to the same place, he was asking him, “Why are you sitting here?” "O Habeeb, I am waiting for a raft," making like this and this (Mawlana Shaykh gestures as if rowing with oars), "I am coming to pass to other bank." coming from his body, when he was saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, walking on water and going there. "Why you are not saying, Hassan al-Basri? Say this and you may pass." Hassan al-Basri was crying, saying, "We have not yet reached the level of yaqeen, certainty. You have reached certainty, and you may walk on it." The power of certainty comes by saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. We have reached only to power of tongues, not of certainty. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is filled with heavenly power, one may say over a dead body, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, and say "Stand up!" and it may stand up. Why you are not teaching to people such a thing, Salafi `ulamas? Saying? I think you don't like stories of saaliheen. All of those people have power of certainty, yaqeen. O People! Try to reach to that point. For example, there are some instruments in our majlis, meeting hall. We are told these instruments take our speech that we are addressing to people, from east to west. Yes, it is real. But I cannot arrange that instrument to do what it is going to do. Must be such an expert, a specialist. I can't do anything, but these, our brothers, know how to use it and they are sending it from east to west from a small place. That power is also secret power of bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, but you are not ready to use it. Therefore, you cannot use bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem as one wali, saint uses it. They may use and if not, we cannot use it. Therefore, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is full of powers as that is, but if you do not know how to use it, you cannot reach anything. Look here. They are not learning to use these instruments when they were at home. They did not learn from their mums and dads, they are learning from experts. This power of bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, not everyone is authorized to use it. Hassan al- Basri was not authorized to use it, but Habeebu `l 'Ajami was. O People! So many things you must try to learn about Islam's spirituality. Don't think that Islam only has some actions that you are doing and finishing, no. The actions you are doing, like praying and fasting and going to Hajj and giving to charity, no, there is secret power to giving sadaqah, to praying, to make special actions for your real being, or special practicing for learning how you can use your spiritual power. know how to use them, there is no benefit. For that purpose, you must ask who knows the secret powers of those heavenly instruments granted to Mankind, if not, it is useless. May Allah forgive us. O People! O People! We must try to learn. And you can't learn Medicine in a grocery shop, or you can't go to the building of a doctor to show you how it is going to be built, no. Fas'al bihi khabeera, "Ask the expert (who knows)." (25:59) Who is knowing the secret power and ways reaching to you, you may take that power from them. Thanks to Allah, it is better if rich ones come. He (swt) doesn’t save; whatever excess remains is to us with no harm. Kind people may come. The remaining is to us, do you understand? Allah shukr, Allah shukr. Allah Almighty does not leave us hungry nor without a home, until now. We did not sleep hungry and we did not sleep unsheltered: Allah has covered us! Shukr Allah. What can you do? This is dunya, a home for the homeless, where the mindless collect its treasures. What do they want to collect? They collect and collect, and then what; do they want to be like Qaroon, who collected and left everything behind (when he died)? The ego of human beings is very astonishing and it always wants to collect. However, the world is only for this world, and whoever collects from dunya will leave it to this world and go, but whoever collects wealth for his Hereafter takes it with him. It is astonishing. The minute you leave the lens you can’t see where the ant is anymore. How is this possible, the ant by itself exists in this world?

People have no mind anymore and do not understand that if there is no Creator how does this small ant exist? And Allah Almighty knows their number. SubhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem! Huwa al-Qaadir al-Muqtadir, the All-Powerful, the Prevailer. This small ant laughs at the Children of Adam, asking, “why are you collecting from this world? Do you want to eat everything? You cannot eat it all. Are you going to take it and bury it with you in your tomb? It is not possible. Then for what is this greediness?” Grandshaykh (q) used to say that Sultan Ibrahim Adham of Balkh had sheep and 12,000 dogs to protect them from wolves, and each one had a chain of gold. This shows how rich King Ibrahim Adham was. He liked to hunt gazelles and one day he was chasing one when he heard a voice from his right side saying, “O Ibrahim Adham! Have you been created for this?” Then he heard this again from his left side from another voice, “Have you been created for this or ordered to do this?” He went back and said, “This is not my duty. I want to dress in the clothes of a servant and become a weak servant to my Lord.” He left the sultanate, Allahu Akbar! Hadhrat Ibrahim Adham’s maqaam is close to Latakia. I visited him there; the Ottoman Sultans have built a very big mosque around it. WHY DID PROPHETS COME?
Teachings from Prophets are teachings from Heavens. Muhammad, may peace be upon him, brought the Last Message, the Last Revelation. He had been with his nation for 40 years when Allah Almighty appointed him to be the Last Messenger. Allah Almighty dressed him with divine attributes. He then completely belonged to the Lord. Everything that he was doing or saying or acting for the next 23 years were Heavenly Messages to teach people. He brought a complete teaching to all of mankind. Everyone can find their way towards heavens through his teachings. Everyone can take what they are in need of from his sayings and from his actions to be able to move towards heavens. Because he was the biggest teacher for humanity, the greatest teacher for all of mankind. These teachings are for ever, and they are enough for ever. There is no need to change it or to bring another teaching. As much as mankind may improve through their brains and as much as they may learn to invent instruments and make so many technical elements to improve technology, they should. But technology will never be the main personality of man. The characteristics of the first man were the same which we have. We do not believe in foolish theories of Darwin, no! We believe that the Lord of Heavens created everything on earth in their own specific characteristics. Every creature which is created is given their creation. An ant is an ant, a lion is a lion, a man a man, a fox a fox, a donkey a donkey, a turtle a turtle, even if man dress them like humans! mosquitoes, elephants are elephants, bears are bears. They are not like you. No! You are of mankind. Monkeys are monkeys, gorillas are gorillas, dogs are dogs and cats are cats, Micky Mouse is Micky Mouse. The Lord just created everything and He is the Designer. He designed for us to be like this, cats must be like that and donkeys like that and monkeys like that and Micky like that. He is the Designer. Nature is not the designer, the Lord is the designer. Even though there are thousands and thousands of kinds of creatures, the Lord gave them all oxygen to sustain their lives with. Even the animals in the ocean need it. That is the condition which He gave them all. The first ant carries the same characteristics as the ants now do. The first bee was making honey, just like the bees now do. The first man who was created had the same characteristics which we still have. Don't run after imaginations. He is the Designer and the Creator. Don't think that these instruments, computers and so many strange inventions will change your characteristics. Your customs can be changed, but your real characteristics will stay the same. That is why the teachings that were brought to the Last Prophet are also suitable for you to arrange your characteristics to be in a perfect condition. That means, the Heavenly Messages are trying to give you a control of your spiritual being, of your soul. That's the whole history of what all teachers are trying to do: give you the full control of your physical being by letting your spirituality be the controller of your physical being. Because if you lose that control, you will fall to the level of animals. And even animals will kick you and say, "We have an honour being animals, but you have lost your honour which the Lord gave to you: you are not controlling your physical being. You are falling onto our level, but we don't accept it." It is important for everyone to know their main purpose. They must understand why prophets came. Why have they been given books. For what? What is the reason for the teachings of the Holy Books. Is it only for our brains to recite or for our ears to listen to? The whole purpose of that teaching is to give the authority back to your soul to be able to control your whole physical being and to ride on your horse. The ego is your horse and you must be able to control it. When you are able to control it, it will be the horse that will take you to heavens, a holy horse. It was such a horse that took the Prophet, may peace be upon him, to Heavens. What is the use of having a jet plane when you cannot control it? You can't move anywhere when you need it. You need a teacher, a trainer, to teach you how to use it. Our egos have huge powers to take ourselves from the lowest to the highest position. But if you don't know how to control it, then you can't go.

Every Prophet brought a method which was suitable for their period and whoever used their methods reached heavens. Finally the Seal of Prophets, may peace be upon him, brought the whole system for the whole of mankind. First of all he taught his companions, 124000 of them. All of them reached heavens. No- one remained on earth. The ones who follow their footsteps will also reach heavens. Until today whoever uses the teaching of the Prophet are reaching that goal. If you refuse and your ego is controlling you it will not let you leave this dirty life, to move towards heavens. As long as people are slaves of this world they will have no peace, no happiness, no love, no respect, no justice, no mercy and no goodness. No! Everything which comes under the control of satan starts off in the ego. People are usually slaves of the kingdom of devils under the reign of satan. That is why Allah Almighty has ordered fasting from the first man Adam until today and the end of this world. Only fasting can help mankind to get a control over their ego. Because it means that you can stop it with your willpower: you can tell it not to eat or drink or tell any lies. It means that you are in control. The practices of all Prophets were simple methods of how to be the controller of our ego. Until today no-one can say of any detail of the teachings of the last prophet Sayidina Muhammad, may peace be with him, that it is useless or unnecessary. We as Muslims are proud that the commands in Islam are all perfect and meant for perfection. All prohibited things in Islam harms mankind and harms humanity. It means that it harms people physically as well as spiritually. No-one has been able to say that something which is prohibited in Islam has turned out to be good for mankind, either physically or spiritually. People from other religions may bring their lists of allowed and prohibited things and I will show them Islam. We could show it on all the channels of TV. I will invite those people to come and sit with me on my sheepskin flying on air. The time is coming closer now in which we can show the power that we have. We may show whether Islam has power or not. Islam is the biggest grant that Allah Almighty has ever given to His People, but the nations are too ignorant to understand it. Yes, when his Creator is ordering. When ordering, giving an authority also to those people to do what He is saying. This is important point. His command is so high, if He is commanding and saying to an atom, (take) "world from its orbit!" from His order coming authority also and ability and capacity. Coming and you may look and see, you can see that this big dunya just carried on shoulders of one atom. Can be! How you saying, "We are not understanding"? You must know who is Allah. His Command not like your command. No! He is Lord of creation and He may give authority. If giving an authority on this world, if the Creator granting to an atom full authority, can carry solar system. ( (Mawlana laughs) Subhan! Sultan! O religious people! Tell this to your followers. O Christians! O Jewish people! O Salafi people and the Wahabi people! Say, declare what He Almighty making me to address to you . Therefore they are making such a weak servant to address to them and say what do you know about your Lord! Therefore I am addressing to religious people. Who they are most authorized one through their beliefs, through their religious systems, say about your Lord, Lord of Heavens who He is and how He is. You don't know! Ask that tree. It says much more than you. It knows much more than you and it obeys much more than you its Lord's command; that palm tree, obeying and it is obedient. And it's Creator, it's Lord saying to palm tree, "Be a palm tree. That is My order to you. Don't be a pine tree, but be a palm tree." And it was saying, "O my Lord, as You like. I am ready." And it was palm tree. So many kinds of creation. Hassan al-Basri was crying, saying, "We have not yet reached the level of yaqeen, certainty. You have reached certainty, and you may walk on it." The power of certainty comes by saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. We have reached only to power of tongues, not of certainty. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is filled with heavenly power, one may say over a dead body, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, and say "Stand up!" and it may stand up. Why you are not teaching to people such a thing, Salafi `ulamas? Saying? I think you don't like stories of saaliheen. All of those people have power of certainty, yaqeen. O People! Try to reach to that point. For example, there are some instruments in our majlis, meeting hall. We are told these instruments take our speech that we are addressing to people, from east to west. Yes, it is real. But I cannot arrange that instrument to do what it is going to do. Must be such an expert, a specialist. I can't do anything, but these, our brothers, know how to use it and they are sending it from east to west from a small place. That power is also secret power of bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, but you are not ready to use it. Therefore, you cannot use bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem as one wali, saint uses it. They may use and if not, we cannot use it. Therefore, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is full of powers as that is, but if you do not know how to use it, you cannot reach anything. Look here. They are not learning to use these instruments when they were at home. They did not learn from their mums and dads, they are learning from experts. This power of bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, not everyone is authorized to use it. Hassan al- Basri was not authorized to use it, but Habeebu `l 'Ajami was. O People! So many things you must try to learn about Islam's spirituality. Don't think that Islam only has some actions that you are doing and finishing, no. The actions you are doing, like praying and fasting and going to Hajj and giving to charity, no, there is secret power to giving sadaqah, to praying, to make special actions for your real being, or special practicing for learning how you can use your spiritual power. Thanks to Allah, it is better if rich ones come. He (swt) doesn’t save; whatever excess remains is to us with no harm. Kind people may come. The remaining is to us, do you understand? What can you do? This is dunya, a home for the homeless, where the mindless collect its treasures. What do they want to collect? They collect and collect, and then what; do they want to be like Qaroon, who collected and left everything behind (when he died)? The ego of human beings is very astonishing and it always wants to collect. However, the world is only for this world, and whoever collects from dunya will leave it to this world and go, but whoever collects wealth for his Hereafter takes it with him. People have no mind anymore and do not understand that if there is no Creator how does this small ant exist? And Allah Almighty knows their number. SubhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem! Huwa al-Qaadir al-Muqtadir, the All-Powerful, the Prevailer. This small ant laughs at the Children of Adam, asking, “why are you collecting from this world? Do you want to eat everything? You cannot eat it all. Are you going to take it and bury it with you in your tomb? It is not possible. Then for what is this greediness?” Grandshaykh (q) used to say that Sultan Ibrahim Adham of Balkh had sheep and 12,000 dogs to protect them from wolves, and each one had a chain of gold. This shows how rich King Ibrahim Adham was. He liked to hunt gazelles and one day he was chasing one when he heard a voice from his right side saying, “O Ibrahim Adham! Have you been created for this?” Then he heard this again from his left side from another voice, “Have you been created for this or ordered to do this?” He went back and said, “This is not my duty. I want to dress in the clothes of a servant and become a weak servant to my Lord.” He left the sultanate, Allahu Akbar! Hadhrat Ibrahim Adham’s maqaam is close to Latakia. I visited him there; the Ottoman Sultans have built a very big mosque around it. WHY DID PROPHETS COME?
Teachings from Prophets are teachings from Heavens. Muhammad, may peace be upon him, brought the Last Message, the Last Revelation. He had been with his nation for 40 years when Allah Almighty appointed him to be the Last Messenger. Allah Almighty dressed him with divine attributes. He then completely belonged to the Lord. Everything that he was doing or saying or acting for the next 23 years were Heavenly Messages to teach people. He brought a complete teaching to all of mankind. Everyone can find their way towards heavens through his teachings. Everyone can take what they are in need of from his sayings and from his actions to be able to move towards heavens. Because he was the biggest teacher for humanity, the greatest teacher for all of mankind. These teachings are for ever, and they are enough for ever. There is no need to change it or to bring another teaching. As much as mankind may improve through their brains and as much as they may learn to invent instruments and make so many technical elements to improve technology, they should. But technology will never be the main personality of man. The characteristics of the first man were the same which we have. We do not believe in foolish theories of Darwin, no! We believe that the Lord of Heavens created everything on earth in their own specific characteristics. Every creature which is created is given their creation. An ant is an ant, a lion is a lion, a man a man, a fox a fox, a donkey a donkey, a turtle a turtle, even if man dress them like humans! mosquitoes, elephants are elephants, bears are bears. They are not like you. No! You are of mankind. Monkeys are monkeys, gorillas are gorillas, dogs are dogs and cats are cats, Micky Mouse is Micky Mouse. The Lord just created everything and He is the Designer. He designed for us to be like this, cats must be like that and donkeys like that and monkeys like that and Micky like that. He is the Designer. Nature is not the designer, the Lord is the designer. Even though there are thousands and thousands of kinds of creatures, the Lord gave them all oxygen to sustain their lives with. Even the animals in the ocean need it. That is the condition which He gave them all. The first ant carries the same characteristics as the ants now do. The first bee was making honey, just like the bees now do. The first man who was created had the same characteristics which we still have. Don't run after imaginations. He is the Designer and the Creator. Don't think that these instruments, computers and so many strange inventions will change your characteristics. Your customs can be changed, but your real characteristics will stay the same. That is why the teachings that were brought to the Last Prophet are also suitable for you to arrange your characteristics to be in a perfect condition. That means, the Heavenly Messages are trying to give you a control of your spiritual being, of your soul. That's the whole history of what all teachers are trying to do: give you the full control of your physical being by letting your spirituality be the controller of your physical being. Because if you lose that control, you will fall to the level of animals. And even animals will kick you and say, "We have an honour being animals, but you have lost your honour which the Lord gave to you: you are not controlling your physical being. You are falling onto our level, but we don't accept it." It is important for everyone to know their main purpose. They must understand why prophets came. Why have they been given books. For what? What is the reason for the teachings of the Holy Books. Is it only for our brains to recite or for our ears to listen to? The whole purpose of that teaching is to give the authority back to your soul to be able to control your whole physical being and to ride on your horse. The ego is your horse and you must be able to control it. When you are able to control it, it will be the horse that will take you to heavens, a holy horse. It was such a horse that took the Prophet, may peace be upon him, to Heavens. What is the use of having a jet plane when you cannot control it? You can't move anywhere when you need it. You need a teacher, a trainer, to teach you how to use it. Our egos have huge powers to take ourselves from the lowest to the highest position. But if you don't know how to control it, then you can't go.

Every Prophet brought a method which was suitable for their period and whoever used their methods reached heavens. Finally the Seal of Prophets, may peace be upon him, brought the whole system for the whole of mankind. First of all he taught his companions, 124000 of them. All of them reached heavens. No- one remained on earth. The ones who follow their footsteps will also reach heavens. Until today whoever uses the teaching of the Prophet are reaching that goal. If you refuse and your ego is controlling you it will not let you leave this dirty life, to move towards heavens. As long as people are slaves of this world they will have no peace, no happiness, no love, no respect, no justice, no mercy and no goodness. No! Everything which comes under the control of satan starts off in the ego. People are usually slaves of the kingdom of devils under the reign of satan. That is why Allah Almighty has ordered fasting from the first man Adam until today and the end of this world. Only fasting can help mankind to get a control over their ego. Because it means that you can stop it with your willpower: you can tell it not to eat or drink or tell any lies. It means that you are in control. The practices of all Prophets were simple methods of how to be the controller of our ego. Until today no-one can say of any detail of the teachings of the last prophet Sayidina Muhammad, may peace be with him, that it is useless or unnecessary. We as Muslims are proud that the commands in Islam are all perfect and meant for perfection. All prohibited things in Islam harms mankind and harms humanity. It means that it harms people physically as well as spiritually. No-one has been able to say that something which is prohibited in Islam has turned out to be good for mankind, either physically or spiritually. People from other religions may bring their lists of allowed and prohibited things and I will show them Islam. We could show it on all the channels of TV. I will invite those people to come and sit with me on my sheepskin flying on air. The time is coming closer now in which we can show the power that we have. We may show whether Islam has power or not. Islam is the biggest grant that Allah Almighty has ever given to His People, but the nations are too ignorant to understand it.
